00:00It's a much-needed victory for the West Indies, more so as it snapped a miserable 7-match losing streak for the Caribbean men in T20 Internationals.
00:08And the Windies are quite aware of the streak and are hopeful to change the narrative.
00:13Whatever the stats say, it doesn't leave a good taste in our mouth.
00:17Myself and the guys are eager to turn that around.
00:20Being one-love up against Bangladesh provides that opportunity for us to turn it around.
00:25You know, we know Bangladesh is a tough team, especially at home, so definitely look on the next game and see how best we can improve and see if we can win this series then.
00:34And Rodman Powell was happy to see a different pitch in Chatogram than the one in Mopuru.
00:39Obviously, it's a better wicket than what we saw in the 50-over games, you know.
00:45But nevertheless, there was still some assistance there for the bowlers.
00:49As you can see, it wasn't entirely a run fest.
00:51You know, it was just average scores and, you know, but having said that it was a decent cricket wicket, you know, if you bat properly, you could get some runs.
01:01And if you bowl properly, you would get a few wickets.
01:04And the former skipper was pleased to crown his 100th match with a man-of-the-match award.
01:09I'm very happy.
01:10You know, it's not always every day someone gets up and plays 100 T20, especially for West Indies.
01:15You know, so for me, it shows the hard work that I've done over the duration of my career.
01:21And, you know, a lot of credit has to be given to my family, my friends and everyone who have supported me.
01:26Also, the players that I've played with over the duration of those 100.
01:31So it was very special to get mad at the match on my 100th game.
