00:08Playing for the St. Lucia Kings, Puran scored 273 runs from 8 matches at an average of 39 with two

00:16And for his display, he was rewarded by making the West Indies squad for the upcoming T20 series in India.
00:22I'm very happy and excited to be part of West Indies T20 team to tour to India.
00:28It is a dream come true and something I never thought would have happened, but with all the hard work
00:34and performances that I put in, I'm just truly happy to get a call to represent West Indies.
00:42Puran knows playing in India is going to be a challenge since the three-time champions are tough to beat

00:48Having said that, the 30-year-old from Trinidad and Tobago is ready for whatever lies ahead.
00:53I am up for the challenge because I know I will be playing against the best in the world.
00:59So to me, I think I'm mentally prepared and I'm ready for the challenge.

01:09I have been putting in a lot of work with Trinidad and also my personal training, batting for a long
01:17period of time and trying to bat and prepare myself how I will play in the game.
