Tobago recorded its tenth road fatality on Sunday night. Nickosi Patrick died following a road traffic accident on the Claude Noel Highway, at Shaw Park, Tobago. Elizabeth Williams visited the scene for our report.

00:00Nicosi Patrick was pronounced dead at the Scarborough General Hospital.
00:06Police reports indicate that around 8.05pm, Mr. Patrick was riding his motorbike and proceeding
00:13east along the Claude Noel Highway, riding his motorcycle, when upon reaching the vicinity
00:18of Old Farm Road intersection, Shaw Park, he attempted to turn south along Old Farm
00:25Road and collided with a motorcar, PDM 5494, driven by Kalyon Lezama, aged 21, of Signal
00:34Hill, who was proceeding west.
00:37Mr. Patrick was thrown from the motorbike and landed in a drain on the southern side
00:42of the road.
00:43He was taken to the Scarborough General Hospital via EHS, where he was pronounced dead by Dr.
00:50Carruth.
00:51A Corporal Elder and a party of officers processed the scene.
00:54The driver of the motorcar, who escaped injuries, was questioned by police at the Scarborough
01:00Police Station.
01:01Acting Corporal Price is continuing inquiries.
01:05The mother and companion of Nicosi Patrick visited the scene and were overcome with grief.

01:31His mother, Nicole Patrick, was inconsolable on the scene and told TV6 News she remains
