00:27There was one passenger in that vehicle, Patrice Julie Webb, who died at the scene.
00:32Two others, Aaliyah Williams, 20, Makeda Fraser, 23, who were in the other vehicle, also succumbed
00:40to their injuries.
00:41Three others, Dijon Dookie, Kino Ke, and Ricardo Toussaint, were taken to the Scarborough General
00:48Hospital with serious injuries.
00:50Aaliyah's father, Philbert Williams, said his daughter was on her way home when tragedy
00:56struck.
01:26Mr. Williams said Aaliyah always made him laugh and was his hairdresser.
01:50Meantime, Joyce Forbes, Makeda's grandmother, told TV6 News her daughter explained to her
01:56how the accident occurred.
01:58Ms. Forbes said she heard of the accident from her neighbor.
02:02She said it was Makeda's dream to be a nurse.
02:06She went with her friends in something and when she was coming home, she was near home,
02:12coming home, and she got in an accident with this other car face-to-face.
02:17And she was pained in the car and she hit her head and so forth.
02:21I said, oh my God.
02:22I said, if we go up the hospital, I think we're going to see the bodyguard.
02:27She said, yeah, no, let me try.
02:31And we went there, but we couldn't see her today.
02:33They said not until Monday.
