The Brian Lara Cricket Academy has been officially approved as a venue to host the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.


The confirmation came in a release from the Ministry of Sport and Community Development. They regional body noted that the BLCA pitch in in prime condition and all planned developmental works have been done according to plan.

00:28Trinidad and Tobago is set to host five matches with the highly anticipated one
00:33being the clash between the favorites and hosts West Indies and New Zealand.
00:37The match is set for June 12th but the tournament begins on June 1st. Apart from
00:43the match against New Zealand other teams expected to take the field at the
00:47venue include Afghanistan versus Papua New Guinea on June 13th, New Zealand
00:52versus Uganda on June 14th, New Zealand versus Papua New Guinea June 17th and
00:57the first semi-final on June 26th. West Indies is drawn in group C alongside New
