Lallitte's life was brutally taken by a relative in the early hours of April 9th sending waves of shock and horror through Trinidad and Tobago. TV6 was there and brings you this report....
00:16 The church was packed with mourners, ranging from family members, friends and concerned citizens,
00:24 as the tragic events of April 9th seemed fresh as Amara's little body lay in a coffin at the front of the church.

02:01 Her paternal grandmother said that she is still in disbelief about the manner in which the little one's life was taken.
02:09 I feel a sense of emptiness at this time. Amara brought joy into our hearts the moment she was born.
02:20 I will remember her as a very loving child who always had a bubbly smile on her face.
02:33 Following the funeral service, the little body of baby Amara was taken to the Crown Street Public Cemetery in Tunapuna, where she was laid to rest.
