00:00Golden State right now in the 9th spot in the Western Conference, but could get into
00:08the 7-8 game in the Western Conference play-in tournament.
00:11New Orleans with a huge win yesterday in Sacramento, wants another one tonight.
00:17Second leg of a back-to-back for both.
00:19Golden State was in Portland, now back home.
00:21New Orleans remains in Northern California.
00:24The Pells control their own fate, DRS, for that 6th spot in the Western Conference, and
00:30yet the Dubs, 4-point home favorite.
00:32I'm going to hate myself for this, but I'm going to take the Pelicans, and I told you
00:36all show long, I don't trust them, it's them, it's the Suns, you know, the Kings, you don't
00:40really know where you're going to wind up on a day-to-day basis.
00:42Now this would have been much more interesting if the Pelicans had gotten that win and being
00:46impressive and being on a back-to-back, and you were at home waiting and rested with the
00:50Golden State Warriors.
00:51But the Warriors here opened up overnight as a minus-3-point favorite, and now going
00:54up to 4, and some other outlets as high as 4.5.
00:58I'm going to expect that you're going to get a full-tilt effort out of both of these teams.
01:01I'll take the points in this environment.
01:04I want to believe in the Pelicans.
01:05I really, really do.
01:07But as you pointed out, this is a massive game on both sides.
01:10The Pelicans don't want to slip into that play-in, and if you're looking at the Golden
01:13State Warriors, they don't want to be that 10th overall seed in the play-in round.
01:18I'll take the points in this environment.
01:19I know I'm going to hate myself when I wake up tomorrow and be like, come on, man.
01:22Golden State's playing great basketball, veteran-laden team.
01:25You just said when the rubber meets the road, the veteran team's not a win, and you backed
01:29the Pelicans on the road here, which, yes, I'm going to do.
