00:44 Dear viewers, the topic of our brief discussion today is Islam and Sufism.
00:55 Remember that if Islam is the meaning of a body, then Sufism will be its soul.
01:05 If Islam is the meaning of a tree, then Sufism is its spring.
01:13 If Islam is a face, then Sufism is its beauty.
01:21 If Islam is outward, then Sufism is its inner.
01:28 Some people prove contradiction in Islam and Sufism,
01:34 however, there is no contradiction in it. Rather, the practices of Islam are hidden in the soul.
01:46 The name of the soul is Sufism, it is a method, it is a knowledge.
01:50 I have just recited the second verse of the Holy Quran, Surah Jumu'ah,
02:01 in which Allah Almighty has mentioned both things.

02:09 This is the duty of Prophethood, which was actually mentioned in this verse.
02:14 The criteria of Prophethood, the status of Prophethood, the mission of Prophethood,
02:21 and the glory of the Prophet (pbuh)

02:53 This is Sufism and this is the method.
02:59 Some scholars have said a beautiful sentence,
03:04 closing the river in a well,
03:08 that the name of the intention of Shariah is Sufism and method.

04:08 And if the direction of the intention is not correct,
04:13 then no matter how much you worship and practice,
04:18 there is no reward for it.
04:22 In the Hadith of the Prophet, it has been stated that
04:26 on the Day of Resurrection, a person will come to Allah and say,
04:30 "O Allah, I did such and such, so give me its reward."
04:35 Allah will say, "You did such and such,
04:40 so I made you call yourself a Namazi, a Haji, a Sakhi, or a Rozadar."
04:47 "So I made you say that, now what are you asking for?
04:52 What reward are you asking for?
04:54 That action which you have done for me."
04:58 For the sake of Allah, Sayyidi Data Ganj Baksh A.S.
05:03 has quoted a beautiful saying of Hazrat Rabia Basriya,
05:07 (R.A) in Kashf-ul-Majub Sharif.
05:10 She used to say,
05:12 "O Allah, if I worship You,
05:15 I fear the Fire, so protect me from it.
05:17 And if I worship You,
05:19 whoever is in Paradise, then protect me from it.
05:21 And if I worship You,
05:23 I fear the Fire, so protect me from it.
05:28 O Allah, if I worship You,
05:31 I fear the Fire,
05:33 then protect me from it.
05:35 And if I worship You,
05:37 I fear the Fire,
05:39 then protect me from it.
05:40 And if I worship You,
05:43 I fear the Fire,
05:45 I fear the Fire,
05:47 I fear the Fire,
05:49 then protect me from it."
05:53 This is the highest level of intention.
05:56 This is the highest level of sincerity.
05:58 This is granted to the most humble and the most generous.
06:01 So, people like us,
06:04 should be protected from showing off,
06:07 should be protected from showing off.
06:09 Just that I am worshipping my Lord,
06:12 for the sake of my Lord's Paradise,
06:15 or to be saved from Hell.
06:17 This is also a sign of the correct direction of intention.
06:21 This is why in the Hadeeth Sharif,
06:24 this is the first Hadeeth of Bukhari and Baniyad.
06:28 It is said that,
06:29 "The reward and reward of deeds is based on intentions."
06:37 Now, the next example in this Hadeeth is of Hijrat.
06:40 A great deed like Hijrat,
06:42 in which a person goes through very difficult stages,
06:45 faces many difficulties,
06:47 and leaves everything behind.
06:49 A great deed like Hijrat is also said,
06:52 that if he has done it for Allah and His Messenger,
06:55 then it is a reward and reward.
06:57 And if he has done it for any worldly purpose,
07:00 then he will get that purpose,
07:02 but he will be deprived of the reward.
07:04 So, the intention of Shariah is called Tassawuf and Tariqat.
07:09 And similarly, the Hadeeth of Jibreel,
07:11 is a very famous Hadeeth.
07:13 In that Hadeeth, Islam and Tassawuf
07:16 are explained in a very beautiful way.
07:20 Hazrat Farooq A'zam,
07:22 the narrator of this Hadeeth,
07:24 says that we were sitting in the court of the Prophet,
07:27 these are the words of a true Muslim,
