00:03 Okay, maybe a Super Bowl preview here,
00:05 depending on how you feel about this matchup.
00:08 Two best teams, AFC, NFC going at it.
00:11 And with Philly losing last night, there's no question,
00:13 it's the 49ers and the NFC.
00:14 Some people would think in the AFC that maybe it's Baltimore, but
00:18 could be Kansas City, could be Miami or Buffalo, someone else.
00:21 The Ravens are getting five and a half points this week against
00:24 the San Francisco 49ers.
00:25 The 49ers offense has been absolutely unstoppable.
00:29 You got two players potentially playing also for the MVP, Brock Purdy.
00:33 Jacob has jumped up to the top on FanDuel as far as being the MVP.
00:37 And maybe Lamar Jackson should be getting more attention for this award.
00:41 But certainly for him to win it, they gotta go into San Francisco and win, and
00:45 not many teams have done that.
00:46 >> Right, I think this is a game where you look at this and you say,
00:50 the winner of this game, whichever team it is,
00:53 they probably end up with the MVP for the season.
00:56 Barring a massive close to the year by Jack Prescott where he kind of erases
01:00 the bad taste left by that Bills game.
01:03 So I think that you're probably looking at either Lamar Jackson or
01:06 Brock Purdy getting it.
01:08 And to take nothing away from Brock Purdy who has posted a massive statistical
01:12 season, I think that Lamar Jackson probably has a better case for
01:16 it because he's really important to what the Ravens do.
01:21 He really is a massive part of that offense.
01:23 He makes it work with his mobility, which opens up the running game.
01:26 And his downfield passing this season has been significantly better.
01:30 Statistically, he doesn't have the stats that Purdy has, but
01:33 I struggle in watching Brock Purdy just to kind of assess,
01:37 hey, is this guy responsible for this?
01:40 Is he a high-end quarterback executing at this level, or
01:43 is he helped by all the support and cast he has?
01:45 So I think that's gonna be a fascinating debate as we go on in the season.
01:49 And I think that the argument I would make against Purdy is I don't think he's
01:53 the most valuable player on this team.
01:55 I think it's Trent Williams, actually.
01:56 If you look at when Trent Williams is out of the lineup,
02:00 Brock Purdy did not have a very good three-game run there.
02:03 In fact, I think it was all three of their losses,
02:04 Williams didn't play it or was injured it.
02:06 So that's a dream of mine, though, and
02:09 offensive lineman's never gonna win MVP, but that's how I feel right now.
02:14 This game, though,
02:14 I think is gonna be closer than this five and a half point spread indicates.
02:18 I think the fact that it's not getting to six shows that the books are afraid that
02:22 the sharp bettors might come in hard on the Ravens at that.
02:25 And I think that's probably gonna be my play,
02:27 cuz I think this defense might be able to test the 49ers a bit.
02:31 And Jackson's mobility should provide the Niners' defense with a unique test in and
02:35 of itself.
02:36 But very much looking forward to this game.
02:38 It's gonna be a great Christmas present for NFL fans.
