00:00The other big matchup takes place in Pittsburgh. We talked about CJ Carr and Notre Dame fresh off
00:06their dominating home win as a 26.5 point home favorite over Navy coach. They dominated from
00:13start to finish, win it 49-10. Line opened up in this matchup 10.5 on Sunday night. We now see 11.5
00:21creeping into the market. Pat Norduzzi came out and said, hey, Notre Dame could beat us 110-3.
00:28It doesn't matter because it's not a conference game. I don't know if I buy into that. I still
00:33want to see this team play competitive on Saturday afternoon and they have a shot to really be on a
00:40heater the next few weeks. You know, if this was a young rookie head coach, it just was running at
00:45the mouth. You don't say something like that without saying it for a reason. And your audience,
00:51who is the audience he was speaking to? You know, I used to tell my players, man, I'm going to say
00:56some things in public. Don't you hear a word I'm going to say. I'm going to tell that other team,
01:00we ain't got a chance. I'm going to make sure the press hears we ain't got a chance. But you know
01:04what? We're going to be ready to play. And that other team, that other team is going to believe
01:08it. We're going to go out there and kick your ass is what we're going to do. I think Narduzzi is a
01:11smart guy. I think that's where that came from. Now, that being said, their quarterback, who is,
01:17he's been on fire for the last five weeks that he started and he's had huge days and they've had huge
01:22offenses. They've scored over 30 points. If he can keep from turning the ball over,
01:26if they want to win this game, he's had five turnovers in the last five games. If he can play
01:30clean, I think that I've got them in the points. I don't know that they go up that they beat Notre
01:35Dame, but I definitely have them in the points because I think that's just too many with him,
01:40with the quarterback playing. Well, I just think that's too many points for Notre Dame to give them.
01:44I'm going to take the points, but I'm going to call the upset. I just believe the fact that
01:48they're playing at home and they have the best front seven. They're only allowing 2.4 yards per
01:54carry, 74 rushing yards per game. And again, we talked about the biggest game for CJ Carr up into
02:01this point outside of week number one. Yeah, there's no margin of error. If Notre Dame starts
02:07slowing this game, a lot of pressure is going to fall on CJ Carr, especially in the road. And if Pitt
02:13does, let's say, steal the turnover battle and let's say gets a short field for Heinzel and that
02:19offense, that could put a lot of pressure on Notre Dame. I think on paper, they're the better team. But
02:25the fact that Pitt is at home, winners of five straight, I think matters. I think they pull it
02:31out, coach. It's not going to be easy, obviously. Yeah, but I think it's an under and I like Pitt with the
02:36points and on the money line. Yeah, I like the under. I'm not going to go money line, but I do believe
02:42they're going to beat the spread and take the points and make this a very, very close game that
02:47they could win. But I think I'm going to stick with you against the spread with them because I do
02:52think the quarterback, if he's hot, if he doesn't turn the ball over, because I think Notre Dame's
02:56going to want to run that football. They want to control the ball, keep it out of Pittsburgh's hands
03:00and not give Pittsburgh a chance to score. I think it's an under in this football game. And with an under,
03:06I just think if they can do what they've done the last five, if they scored 30 points,
03:10they're going to play within 10, I promise you. And that's what they've done the last five football
03:14games. From the defensive perspective, are you looking to take away Jadarian Price and Love
03:20first to force the game onto Carr? How do you play it just defensively early on from a game plan
03:26perspective? No, you have to do that. You can't let them run or you'll never see the past. You've got
03:32to force them early by overloading the box, by making sure you bring some stunts, getting some secondary
03:38involved. Make sure CJ Carr has to win that with the passing. Now he's done a marvelous job, but he
03:44hasn't been required to do a lot. Like you see the quarterback in Alabama having to do a lot more
03:50to help them win because they run so well. But I think if you'll go up there and overplay the run,
03:55load the box up, make CJ Carr throw the ball to beat you.
