00:00 Quran-e-Hakeem, Sirat-ul-Nabi (SAW)
00:04 Ahadith-e-Mubarka, Fiqh-e-Wasayil-e-Bayan
00:07 and many more, God willing, with the best of scholars.
00:24 As-Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
00:30 (Reciting Surah Al-Baqarah)
00:34 (Reciting Surah Al-Baqarah)
01:00 This Ayat-e-Mubarka that I just recited, is Surah Al-Imran, Ayat-110
01:07 Allah Almighty is saying, "Kuntum Khaira Ummah"
01:11 "O Muslims, you are the best of the nation"
01:14 The Prophet, the last Prophet, the nation of the Prophet (PBUH)
01:21 "You are the best of the nation"
01:23 And what is the reason for this?
01:25 "Ukhrijat Linnas"
01:27 "You have been brought into existence for the benefit of the people"
01:32 "The reason for your excellence is that you have been brought into existence for the benefit of the people"
01:40 And then Allah Almighty said, "Ta'muroona Bil Maaroof"
01:45 "Wa Tanhoona 'Ala Al-Munkar"
01:47 "Wa Ta'minoona Bil-Lah"
01:48 "You advise on good, stop evil, and have faith in Allah"
01:52 This is also the reason for the excellence of this nation
01:57 And this is also a matter of benefit
01:59 That people are told good things, and people are stopped from bad things
02:03 Why?
02:05 Because the good of this world and the hereafter is in the good, and the bad is in the bad
02:13 So because I am concerned about the people, that everyone should benefit, everyone should be safe from harm
02:19 I have concern for the people
02:21 I am not selfish
02:23 I am not selfish
02:25 As a member of the Ummah, I am not selfish
02:31 I want that people should benefit, that people should be good in every way, and that they should be safe from harm
02:39 So to save from that harm, to benefit the people
02:44 As a member of the Ummah, I tell people to be good people, to say good things
02:49 I tell people not to do bad things, not to do wrong things
02:53 Because it is your loss, it is your benefit
02:56 My loss is not my benefit
02:59 Your loss is your benefit
03:01 My loss is my benefit, it is related to my personality
03:04 If I do good things, if I stop from bad things, then it is my benefit
03:10 And if you do good things, if you stop from bad things, then it is your benefit
03:15 So for the benefit of the people, for the well-being of the people
03:20 I tell people to be good, I stop people from bad things
03:25 As a member of the Ummah, it is my responsibility
03:30 And that is why this Ummah is the best Ummah because it is made for the people
03:35 Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the last Prophet
03:41 He is our belief, he is a firm belief
03:46 After him, no other Prophet will come
03:49 Allah has given the responsibility of this Ummah to tell people good things, to stop from bad things
03:55 And generally speaking, to think about the well-being of the people
03:59 Once Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was with the companions
04:07 He said to the companions, "Deenun Naseeha"
04:13 And one of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was that
04:17 When something was important, he would repeat it three times
04:25 And the reason was that everyone should listen
04:29 And generally the Sunnah was that right, front, left, so that everyone listens
04:36 And Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) repeated this three times
04:39 "Deenun Naseeha"
04:43 That Deen is the name of goodness, Deen is the name of sincerity, Deen is the name of goodwill
04:51 Naseehat is also from this, that I advise someone, I am good for someone, that is why I am advising him
04:58 So Deen is "Ad Deenun An Naseehatu"
05:01 Deen is the name of goodness
05:03 So the companions were shocked that the definition of Deen is being explained here
05:11 What is Deen?
05:13 We think that Deen is that we offer five times of prayer, fast in Ramadan, give Zakat, do Hajj, become a Hajji
05:20 So he is a very religious person
05:22 Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is explaining the definition of Deen here
05:27 What is Deen? Deen is goodness
05:29 The companions generally did not ask many questions, they listened, believed and acted
05:38 But here since he said such a big thing, he said the definition of Deen, that Deen is actually the name of goodness
05:45 So he asked, "For whom is goodness, O Prophet of Allah?"
05:50 He replied, "For Allah, His Messenger, His Book, and the Muslims and their people, that Deen is goodness with Allah"
06:01 This is a very detailed thing, I will not go into the details of this right now
06:05 But it is goodness with Allah, offering five times of prayer, fasting in Ramadan, stopping from what Allah has forbidden,
06:16 going to the mosque, doing what is commanded, all of this is goodness with Allah
06:21 The Messenger is the only one, it is goodness with Allah's Messenger
06:25 Acting on his Sunnah, his words, obeying his orders, stopping from what he has forbidden, all of this is goodness with Allah's Messenger
06:36 The Book is the only one, it is goodness with Allah's Book
06:40 Reciting the Quran, understanding it, trying to act on it, all of this is goodness with Allah's Book
06:49 The leaders of Muslims, the Imams, whether they are worldly Imams or religious Imams, all of this is goodness with them
07:00 If they are saying something that is not against Shariah and Sunnah, then listen to them
07:08 Those who have worked for the good of people, listen to them
07:14 Traffic lights, they have installed them so that people do not get hurt, so that accidents do not happen, so do not break the traffic lights
07:21 All of this is goodness with the Imams of Muslims, listen to them, obey them, do not clash with Shariah and Sunnah
07:33 And, "Wa Aam Maadeehim"
07:35 Goodness with the common Muslims, goodness with everyone, goodness with everyone
07:41 In fact, if we extend this further in light of the second Hadith, then goodness with all the people
07:46 This is Deen, you are the best Ummah, you have been chosen for the people
07:52 Help the people, think good for the people, connect with Allah
08:00 Some people unfortunately say that I am very good with people, I am a very good Muslim
08:07 You are a very good Muslim, but not at the expense of leaving the prayers
08:13 People say that there is no need to offer prayers, I am very good with people
08:17 But, Salah is to fulfil the rights of Allah, and to be good with people is to fulfil the rights of people
08:23 We cannot pick and choose, that I do this, I do not do this, and I do that, I do not do this
08:29 We cannot do this, the rights of Allah, as I have told you in the Hadith
08:33 To fulfil the rights of Allah, to be good with Allah, to be good with the Prophet of Allah, to be good with the Quran
08:41 To be good with the Ummah of Muslims, and to be good with the common people
08:45 To be good with everyone, this is a combination of Deen
08:49 To do good with people, we have been chosen for the people
08:54 And to benefit in every way, like in the Ayat-e-Mubarak, that if a person is involved in wrong doings
09:00 I know that there are consequences, there are consequences in the world as well
09:06 It is not that there are only consequences in the hereafter, there are consequences in the world as well
09:11 A person is arrogant, it is a very dangerous thing
09:16 It is a thing that can harm this person in the world as well
09:21 To misbehave with parents, for example, is a thing that can have effects in the world as well
09:29 So there are consequences in the world as well, the person who is stingy, his consequences are in the world as well
09:37 So there is a loss of that person in the world as well, and we are Muslims, we have faith in the hereafter
09:43 The Day of Judgment will come, there is Jannah, there is Hell, right?
09:47 Every person has to live forever, either in Jannah or in Hell, so there are consequences
09:54 So I tell people for the welfare of people, don't do this, my brother, my sister, my son, my daughter, my son, my daughter, please don't do this
10:03 You are at loss in this, so in this, there is a goodwill
10:08 That I tell them the good things, stop the bad things, stop the bad things
10:12 And apart from this, help them, if you see someone worried, help them
10:18 If someone needs financial help, help them
10:21 There is a blessed hadith, it is present in many books of hadith, in Sahih Muslim as well, in Jamia Taramizi as well
10:31 It is present in many other books as well, it is a very comprehensive hadith
10:38 Prophet (PBUH) said, it is narrated by Sayyidina Abu Huraira (R)
10:43 "Whoever relieves a believer from the pain of this world, Allah will relieve him from the pain of the Day of Judgment"
11:03 Now to understand the reality of this, we will have to do a whole session about the pain of the Day of Judgment
11:11 That how difficult the Day of Judgment is, how difficult the Day of Judgment is
11:16 When that thing will be understood, then one of those pains is being relieved
11:23 That we have relieved someone's pain in the world, then this is a very profitable deal, believe me
11:30 And then it is said, "Whoever makes it easy for a poor man, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and the Hereafter"
11:47 If a person is in trouble, he has financial problems, we will somehow make it easy for him to get rid of his financial problems
12:06 It is a profitable deal, what to do?
12:10 Look at a poor man, try to solve his problems in any way possible
12:17 It is said, "Whoever covers up a Muslim's mistake, Allah will cover up his mistake in this world and the Hereafter"
12:35 Who is it who can claim that I have no fault in me?
12:40 Every person is weak, everyone has a fault, humans are weak, right?
12:48 No one wants to reveal their faults in front of the world
12:51 But if we want Allah to cover up our faults in this world and the Hereafter
12:58 Imagine that everyone is there in the world, from the first to the last person
13:05 And if someone's faults are revealed in front of the world, what will happen?
13:09 Today there are four people, if someone's fault is revealed in front of them, the person will be ashamed
13:15 If a fault is revealed in front of everyone, what is the way to hide it?
13:19 That the fault should be covered up, and the fault of the people should be hidden in the world
13:26 And further it is said, "Allah helps the servant as long as the servant helps his brother"
13:41 SubhanAllah
13:43 You have been chosen for the people, right?
13:46 You keep helping people, find opportunities
13:49 How can I help? How can I help this person? How can I help that person?
13:54 You give someone a ride, help someone, show someone the way, guide someone, teach someone
14:01 Tell someone good things, anything, all these are help
14:06 It is guidance, right? It can be spiritual guidance, it can be physical guidance
14:12 It can be directions, financial help, someone can be a burden
14:18 Someone sees that you are an old man, you are carrying a lot of luggage
14:25 You say, "I will carry you, I will put your luggage in the rack, I will take your luggage in the plane, I will take you by bus"
14:33 Anything
14:35 As long as the servant helps his brother, Allah helps him, he does his work, then please help the people
14:47 There is a Surah in the Holy Quran, which is called Surah An-Naml
14:52 Naml in Arabic language is called "Chunti"
14:55 Now think, the name of the Surah is "Chunti"
14:59 How small is a "Chunti"?
15:02 Do we ever notice that there are ants on the ground?
15:06 We never thought that there is an ant on the ground
15:10 What is the status of an ant? People don't even care
15:13 The name of a Surah in the Holy Quran is "Chunti"
15:18 An-Naml
15:20 You should think about what is the matter in that Surah
15:24 Allah mentioned an incident of Prophet Sulaiman (PBUH)
15:32 He could understand the language of birds and other animals
15:38 Once he went out with his army, Allah gave him a lot of power, he ruled over the Jinn, animals were under his control
15:48 He had a great status
15:51 Once he went out, he noticed that some ants were coming out of their nests
15:57 He realized that Prophet Sulaiman and his army were coming
16:01 Allah mentioned that incident and said
16:05 Until one day, when all the ants reached the valley
16:12 Allah said to the ants, "Enter your homes"
16:21 "Suliman and his army will not be able to harm you, nor will they be able to notice you"
16:32 One ant says something for the welfare of the other ants, Allah makes that into a part of the Holy Quran
16:42 Allah says, "SubhanAllah"
16:48 Allah likes to do good
16:52 There are many incidents
16:54 We have reached the end of this session
16:58 But it is a matter of thinking
17:01 How good it is for Allah to help others, to do good for others, to think good for others
17:08 Instead of having hatred in your heart
17:11 May Allah give me and all of us the opportunity
17:15 We will take a short break and then we will come back with your questions
17:19 Keep sending your questions to dinefitrah@ayyarwaydigital.tv
17:23 Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
17:26 Welcome back, we are back with your questions
17:29 Keep sending your questions to dinefitrah@ayyarwaydigital.tv
17:36 Someone asked a question about financial ease
17:40 What are the avenues for people to make financial ease?
17:49 There are many ways
17:51 One way is that you give a loan to someone
17:56 And he is not able to repay it on time
18:00 So you know that person comes and tells you that it is difficult for him to repay the loan
18:07 Some people are so cruel that they don't even repay the loan
18:11 So the cruel people should be stopped from doing injustice
18:16 Prophet (PBUH) said, "Help your brother whether he is a cruel or a victim"
18:24 Sahaba (RA) said, "I understand helping a victim, but how can I help a cruel person?"
18:33 So he said, "Stop him from doing injustice, this is helping him"
18:37 These people who are cruel, who sit on the money and don't want to repay the loan
18:43 You should demand from them on time, because they don't want to repay the loan
18:47 But a person comes to you and tells you that he knows that he promised to repay the loan on a certain date
18:55 He was understanding that he will get the money and he will repay the loan
18:59 But now he is having a little difficulty, he will get the money after a month
19:03 So can you help me?
19:05 Can I repay the loan after a month?
19:08 If possible, try to make it easy for this person
19:13 He has come to you himself, you can tell him that it's ok, you can take another month
19:19 But make sure that you repay the loan after a month
19:23 So this is how we can make it easy for people
19:27 If there is a person who has been blessed by Allah, and there are many people who have been blessed by Allah
19:34 And you see that this person is poor, he is sincere, he has taken a loan from you
19:41 He wants to repay the loan, but he is having a little difficulty
19:45 You can see that he is having a little difficulty
19:47 He might take a loan from someone else to repay the loan
19:50 Or it might be some other issue, he was thinking that he will get some benefit from it and he will repay the loan
19:56 But now he didn't get any benefit, you can see everything, it is clear in front of you
20:00 And Allah has given you that gift, so you can tell him that don't worry, it was a gift from Allah
20:10 Believe me, if these people are sincere, their hearts get so happy that a burden is lifted off them
20:18 It feels like someone has lifted a mountain off them
20:21 How happy these people are
20:24 So you will get reward, and the blessed hadith that Allah makes it easy for people in financial difficulties
20:31 Or Allah makes it easy for people in poverty
20:34 Allah makes it easy for people in both this world and hereafter
20:38 So Allah will make it easy for you in both this world and hereafter
20:42 So you should try to do this
20:46 There can be many other avenues like this, you can give someone a gift, someone is in trouble, you can help them financially
20:56 Or you can help them in any other way
20:58 But just remember one thing
21:01 That the thing for which you are helping is the right thing
21:06 There should not be any wrong thing
21:08 Helping in wrong thing is equivalent to committing a mistake
21:15 Helping in goodness, this person also gets goodness which he is helping
21:20 And helping in bad things, this person also gets bad things which he is helping
21:24 In light of hadith
21:26 So please make sure that the thing for which you are helping is lawful and halal
21:34 So if you help, you will get reward
21:38 Some people also ask that I gave loan to someone
21:43 That person was poor and now he is not able to repay the loan
21:48 So in light of this principle I thought that I will write off his loan, I will forgive his loan
21:57 But I will do the intention of giving the money which I had given, the zakat which I have to give
22:04 This is not possible
22:06 To pay zakat, it is necessary to do the intention of giving zakat before giving the money
22:13 For example, someone recited 2 rakat nafl
22:16 He recited 4 rakat nafl in the afternoon
22:19 And after reciting 4 rakat nafl, his intention was to recite nafl
22:22 And later he thought that the 4 rakat nafl which I recited was the duty of my Zuhr
22:28 So this is not right
22:31 You have to do the intention before reciting nafl
22:35 That which nafl I am reciting
22:38 In our childhood, elders used to teach us to say that I recite 4 rakat nafl
22:46 I am reciting nafl, it is the duty of Zuhr for Allah
22:52 Nowadays this trend has ended
22:54 To do the intention, it is not necessary to say anything
22:57 The intention is the work of the heart
22:59 But elders used to teach that the intention should be firm
23:05 But it is not necessary, it is not obligatory to say these things
23:08 But the purpose of saying is that the intention is done before, not later
23:15 It is not possible that I have given him the money
23:18 And now I say that the money I gave him has become Zakat
23:22 This is not possible
23:24 Yes, this is possible
23:26 There can be other ways
23:28 You can say that you take a loan from someone and return it to me
23:37 Then I will see what I can do for you
23:40 So he takes a loan from someone and returns it to me
23:45 Now I will give it back to him with the intention of Zakat
23:49 And say that this is a gift from me for you
23:53 I have said this before
23:55 It is not necessary to tell him that this is Zakat
23:59 You can call it a gift or anything
24:01 So that his self-respect is not damaged
24:03 So you can do this
24:05 He takes a loan from someone and returns it to me
24:09 And I give it to him with the intention of Zakat
24:13 And then I return the money to him with which he took a loan
24:17 This can be the way
24:19 But the intention is important before giving Zakat
24:22 There is another question which is a little different from all these topics
24:28 But someone asked that can I smoke a cigarette?
24:32 Look, there is no benefit from smoking a cigarette
24:37 Temporarily, people may feel nicotine rush
24:46 People get addicted to it and cannot live without it
24:50 But there is no benefit other than this
24:53 Long term, every research says that this is harmful
24:58 It can even cause cancer
25:00 Lungs can get cancer, mouth can get cancer
25:03 There can be such severe diseases
25:06 So every intellect can understand that there is no benefit
25:12 And there is a principle in the Quran
25:15 Allah says, "Do not put your hands into destruction with your own hands"
25:21 Prophet (PBUH) said, "Your soul has a right on you"
25:27 Allah has given us a body
25:29 This is a trust from Allah
25:31 We are using it temporarily
25:34 But it is from Allah
25:36 One day Allah will take a human out of it
25:40 The soul will be taken out and the body will be buried under the soil
25:44 So this is a trust from Allah
25:46 So it is not right to misuse it
25:49 Now what are its Shariah rules?
25:52 Is it completely Haram?
25:53 There is a disagreement among the scholars about it
25:56 Some say that it is not as haram as alcohol or pigs etc
26:05 But in any way, it is not good for health
26:10 So there is a dislike in it
26:13 So please those who smoke, I would like to give them a piece of advice
26:25 Please try to get rid of it
26:28 Take care of your health
26:30 Take care of yourself
26:31 Take care of your world
26:33 Take care of your hereafter
26:34 May Allah enable us all to walk on the right path
26:38 Keep sending your questions
26:40 Dine Fitrat at arydigital.tv
