00:00 Hi guys and welcome to Drivespark, I'm Prameet and we are at the unveil of a motorcycle where
00:08 Honda has just unveiled the all new SP160.
00:13 Now the SP brand was launched back in 2015 where it launched the Honda Shine SP125.
00:18 Within a few years the Shine name was gone and it was just left with the SP125 and what
00:23 you see over here is the all new Honda SP160.
00:26 So let's quickly start this video and I'll tell you everything you need to know about
00:30 this motorcycle.
00:36 So now let's start talking about this all new motorcycle.
00:39 I will give you a quick walk around so that you can see how this motorcycle now looks
00:42 like and well this is available in six different colour options.
00:49 They include the matte dark blue metallic, the pearl spartan red, matte access grey,
00:56 pearl ignite black, matte marble blue and pearl deep ground grey.
01:03 So now let's start talking about the front end and over here you get this aggressive
01:06 looking power, you also get this LED headlight over here, you can see this LED branding,
01:11 high beam, low beam, however the indicators are still the halogen units.
01:15 This is a brand new colour and over here you get alloys both front and back and you get
01:21 ABS.
01:22 Now there are two variants over here, one has an alloy and a drum setup and over here
01:26 whatever bike you see over here are the twin disc variants.
01:29 Coming on over here, so this is the instrument cluster, it's a digital dial over here, you
01:34 can see you get your gear positioning indicator, your RPM, your speed, this is your average
01:40 fuel economy, you get a battery voltmeter and a gear positioning indicator as well.
01:45 Now this is the switchgear, switchgear quality feels really nice, that is for the pass button,
01:49 this is your high and low beam turn indicators, your horn, very upright straight handlebar
01:56 as you can see over here, plus this is your kill switch, your hazard switch and your start
02:01 stop button.
02:02 Now this is how the handlebar looks like, it's a pretty upright position and the rider's
02:07 triangle is also ergonomically very nice.
02:10 These are the tank extensions, gives the bike a really sporty appeal, you have this Honda
02:14 logo over here, you have some decals and you also get this grey finishing on the tanks,
02:19 basically this is like a dual tone finish, you get a single seat, looks pretty comfortable,
02:22 it's a little hard but yeah, I mean, you've got to get used to it, it's not that soft.
02:27 Also you get the SP badging over here, somewhat of chrome on the exhaust and this is the engine,
02:32 we'll be coming to that.
02:33 You get a 160 badging, a grey coloured grab rail and these are the new taillights, in
02:40 the shape of an M, LED taillights, you also get a saree guard over here, obviously Indian
02:46 spec things.
02:47 This is actually how the entire motorcycle looks like.
02:50 So now let's start off with some specifications and the very first thing is the length, so
02:56 it's around 2061mm, width is around 786mm, the ground clearance is 177mm, the seat is
03:03 178mm, it gets a single disc version, gets a curb weight close to around 139kgs and the
03:11 dual disc version gets a curb weight of around 141kgs.
03:16 Well the seat height stands at 796, which is pretty tall, but for people below 5, maybe
03:24 5'8, 5'7, might have to tiptoe and now let's come to this engine, so this is a 160cc single
03:31 cylinder air cooled engine that pumps out around 13.3bhp of power and 14.6nm of peak
03:39 torque, it's mated to a 5 speed panel gearbox obviously, 1 down and 4 up and you have a
03:45 telescopic front fork at the front, you have mono shocks at the back with adjustable preloads
03:51 and obviously the front and the rear section is LED for the lighting units.
03:57 However, this is the all new Honda SP160, it is a premium offering from this company
04:05 and it looks absolutely stunning, so if you like this video, please give it a thumbs up,
