00:00From the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 18, verses 1 to 5, 10, 12 to 14.
00:08The disciples approached Jesus and said,
00:11Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
00:14He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said,
00:19Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
00:24Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
00:31And whoever receives one child such as this in my name, receives me.
00:36See that you do not despise one of these little ones,
00:39for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.
00:46What is your opinion?
00:48If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray,
00:51will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills and go in search of the stray?
00:56And if he finds it, Amen, I say to you,
00:59he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not stray.
01:04In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father
01:08that one of these little ones be lost.
