Deuteronomy 31:1–8 speaks courage into seasons of change. The Lord goes before you and will not leave you. Moses addresses Israel at the edge of promise. He is old and will not cross the Jordan. Joshua will lead under God’s hand. The people must be strong and steadfast. Do not fear. The Lord Himself marches with you. He will never fail you. He will never forsake you. This word teaches holy transition. Leadership is service under the Presence. Bless those who will take your place. Obey the Word in public and in secret. Face new roads with prayer and simple trust. When anxiety rises, repeat verse six. When duty is heavy, remember that God holds the outcome. Encourage a friend who stands at a threshold. Offer the day to God and take the next step. Let this reading form households that walk together. May the Lord who goes before His people steady your heart and guide your path.
