Matthew 17:14-20 shows the Lord meeting a desperate father and restoring his son. Come pray with this call to living faith that moves mountains.

Jesus comes down from the mountain. A father kneels and begs for mercy. The disciples tried but could not help. The Lord rebukes unbelief and commands the spirit. The boy is healed at once. Later He teaches about little faith. Even a mustard seed, placed in God, can face what seems impossible. Faith grows through prayer. It matures through humility and steady obedience. It seeks the good of the suffering and stands with families who wait for healing. Let this Gospel guide our steps today. Ask for purity of trust and perseverance. Bring your needs to Jesus with a willing heart. Offer acts of charity for those in spiritual battle. In the Church we learn to believe together. We learn to persevere when results delay. May Christ strengthen us with quiet courage and generous love. If this served your prayer, kindly like, share, and subscribe for more scripture meditations.

00:00From the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 17, verses 14 to 20.
00:07A man came up to Jesus, knelt down before him, and said,
00:12Lord, have pity on my son, who is a lunatic and suffers severely.
00:17Often he falls into fire, and often into water.
00:21I brought him to your disciples, but they could not cure him.
00:26Jesus said in reply,
00:28O faithless and perverse generation, how long will I be with you?
00:32How long will I endure you? Bring the boy here to me.
00:36Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and from that hour the boy was cured.
00:43Then the disciples approached Jesus in private and said,
00:46Why could we not drive it out?
00:49He said to them,
00:50Because of your little faith.
00:51Amen, I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed,
00:56you will say to this mountain,
00:58Move from here to there, and it will move.
01:01Nothing will be impossible for you.
