00:00 I think the result is probably a fair reflection of the way the team's played.
00:09 We were a little bit off tonight. We were slow to start in the first six overs of
00:14 each innings. I think we gave away too many in our first six when we bowled. We were just a
00:20 little bit two sides of the wicket and they played well. And then when we batted
00:25 they were very good and created pressure and used conditions very well. So in
00:29 between there were some cameos from Warner and Punt at the end. We thought we'd
00:33 pulled it back with Paterana's wickets but then that last little flurry pushed
00:38 them to a pretty good score. So I think in the end probably 20 runs difference
00:42 between the teams is about right. Yeah he did. It was excellent batting and
00:47 Paterana had come off an excellent over the over before. So quite rightly so he
00:52 was lining up the wickets. And there's not many in the world that
00:56 can do that and Paterana's had a lot of success and it was just a good contest
01:02 and it showed that the Punt has still got a lot of natural flair and under
01:08 pressure he played really well. If we'd been able to restrict them to 170
01:11 something we would have walked off pretty happy but the extra sort of 12-15 runs
01:16 there were quite crucial in the end. I think it's the first six
01:22 overs of each inning so ours was, theirs was, it ended up to be quite quite high I
01:28 think in the 60s after an okay start and ours was we limped to 30 so there's 30
01:33 runs there which when you lose by 20 that's probably the difference and then
01:37 we had a lot of catching up to do and their bowling plans were good they stuck
01:41 to their plans and we had a late flourish obviously at the end but the
01:45 damage was probably done in the first six overs of each innings. Now I'm not
01:49 concerned you're gonna have ups and downs along tournament so no concerns.
01:54 He wants to get runs every time obviously but no concerns. We've played
02:00 well for two games and the nature of this tournament is you're gonna have a
02:03 little bit of very really v-go and we know that from experience so we were
02:09 just a bit off today and got beaten by a team that was desperate to win. I'll start
02:14 with his captaincy, very good. To transition into the job it's not easy
02:19 but he's done it seamlessly. We're using MS as well still as part of the
02:26 decision-making so he's along with Jadeja providing leadership with him off
02:30 the field and he's doing really well. He had a hard game to do today and he did
02:35 it well and within the time frames which is important. His batting form has
02:40 been fine in the nets and his demeanor off the field is excellent so really
02:45 positive around the captaincy. It was beautiful wasn't it and even the
02:50 one-handed one over Midwick. He has been playing incredibly
02:54 well in preseason. He's coming back from a quite serious operation so he's
02:59 rehabbing really well but his batting has been superb and that type of
03:04 performance just it just gave us a bit of a positive vibe to at the end of a
03:09 tough day. So to get within 20 is important run rate wise and he knows
03:14 that and the way he played was with that in mind and it was spectacular.
03:21 you
