00:00Early smog is getting thicker and so is the confusion around new measures to curb vehicle
00:04emissions. So let's cut through all the BS 1 to 6 and understand how the new policies
00:10will impact you, your commute to work, school or even a party. Stage 4 of graded rapid action plan
00:17or GRAP 4 is already in place and in the 24-hour period between December 16th and 17th AQIs range
00:24from Hazada 721 to the lowest Puer 234. The government tried passing the buck from farmers
00:30burning stubble to blaming the Ahmadineh party, nothing helped. So now cars and other vehicles
00:36need some restrictions. Vehicles which are in the BS 3 and 4 category will not be allowed to enter
00:41Delhi. Yes, even from NCR regions such as Noida or Gurugram, Ghaziabad, the borders of Delhi are closed
00:49for BS 3 and 4. According to a news report, this will impact a whopping 12 lakh vehicles in the
00:54national capital region. So what is this BS anyway? BS is Bharat stage vehicle emission standards in
01:00India for petrol and diesel cars. With each stage, the vehicle has tighter emission controls. BS 1 started
01:08in 2000 and is no longer allowed to operate across India. Each successive update had more checks to
01:13ensure minimal emission. If your car was manufactured before 2020, it would be BS 4 and BS 3 if it was made
01:21before 2010. Check the registration date. Anything before 2020 and you will be turned away from the
01:27border of Delhi.
01:36So can your BS 6 car which is allowed still be stopped? Yes, if your PUC is not up to date.
01:42In fact, a lack of pollution under control certificate means you will no longer be allowed to buy petrol or
01:48diesel at Delhi fuel pumps. Apart from private cars, commercial vehicles carrying construction material
01:54will not be allowed to enter Delhi. Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha is debating the issue of Delhi pollution under
01:59Rule 193 after sustained demands by the Congress and other opposition parties led by Rahul Gandhi.
02:05So be sure to take a cab, metro or a bus to Delhi if you own a BS 3 or 4 car. Better yet, find a friend with a BS 6 car and carpool.
02:14In fact, if you have a video in the school, you are used to пол to commit his body, full to people.
02:25And you are, unfortunately it is a little bit so, you can choose to take a cab like that.
02:30And for example, if you need a carpool.
02:32You can choose the driving force to find the carpool.
02:33And you have to participate in the carpool.
02:35So like that we are, we are trying to call it a small carpool.
02:36So like that we are trying to leave the carpool.
02:38So like that we are trying to make this carpool.
02:39So let's keep an eye on the carpool.
02:39So like that we are trying to get this carpool.
02:40So like that we are going to be able to try and have the new carpool.
