00:00The audacity.
00:01We'll be fine.
00:02Yeah.
00:03Wow.
00:04Bay Area is Jimmy Butler.
00:06Time for the crossover with Stiney, Guru, Willard, and Diggs.
00:11All right.
00:12It's time for the crossover.
00:14Brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:16Rest easy.
00:16We've got you covered.
00:17Bayalarm.com.
00:19And I put two and two together here.
00:22So you guys were talking during the break.
00:25Did you hear the commercial?
00:28No.
00:29No.
00:29Okay.
00:30What happened?
00:31So there was a commercial that came on.
00:33Well, first of all, the boss comes in.
00:36Yeah.
00:36And ostensibly gives us credentials for the parade.
00:39Told me don't lose it.
00:41I told you you'd be out there.
00:42I told you you'd be out there.
00:44Concurrently, apparently there was a commercial that ran that Matt Nahigian is the, what is it,
00:51Playmaker of the Month?
00:53Game changer.
00:54Oh, he's the quarterly game changer?
00:55He's the quarterly game changer.
00:58That's good for me.
00:58That's why he came in here.
01:00I think he gets an Amazon gift card.
01:02Where's that from?
01:03Who voted?
01:04Exactly.
01:04That's a good question.
01:05I think that we all vote and we all get nominated.
01:08And actually, I was nominated last quarter.
01:10And so nominated, but didn't win.
01:12And I think that like a quarter of the staff actually gets nominated.
01:16And he won.
01:17And so he gets a hundred bucks.
01:18And he also gets to have lunch with Kieran.
01:20Wow.
01:21Who is, you know, the local boss.
01:23And so, I mean, that was, that's what happened.
01:27What do you guys do to get it?
01:30I mean, overall excellence, I think.
01:34And, you know, rising above.
01:36How do you think this broadcast that you guys are doing out on Embarcadero tomorrow, how do you think it's
01:40coming together?
01:41And I'm excited.
01:42You're doing the legwork for this.
01:44Tim Jordan's doing it.
01:46I heard that Matt Nahigian might be there, you think, in the middle of the night.
01:53Matt Nahigian, way to go, bud.
01:54I heard that he might.
01:55You can't nominate him.
01:56He can't win an award for something he hasn't done yet.
02:00It's also true.
02:01But maybe he was there at the middle of the night and one of the other ones, too.
02:06I got to admit, I show up at these remotes and I'm like, boy, it looks like people have been
02:11here for a while.
02:12Somebody did something to get this together.
02:14Tim and Sam.
02:15I better order a turkey sandwich and enjoy it.
02:18All right.
02:19Pretty privileged.
02:19I love it.
02:20We got rain tomorrow during the parade?
02:22No.
02:23Okay.
02:23This is a one-day experience.
02:25Oh, sweet.
02:25Yeah.
02:26That's good.
02:27It's a bummer, though.
02:28Did you two get any walking in?
02:30Or is it dry out there?
02:31Oh, yeah.
02:32It was dry.
02:32Yeah, I took the ferry today.
02:33Come on.
02:34So I walked from the ferry building.
02:36It's beautiful.
02:36I almost ran him over.
02:38He was walking by as I was driving in and I was like, Willard!
02:42I mean, my partner didn't even turn around.
02:45He threw the one hand up.
02:46He gave me the double-handed.
02:48That's because I had already seen you.
02:49You went stoddy on him?
02:50I saw him and he didn't see me.
02:52And I tried to get his attention and I didn't get it.
02:54Oh, okay.
02:55But he was doing his thing.
02:56He had to find his little key card.
02:57I was yucked in.
02:58So then he saw me and I just gave him the like, I see you inside.
03:01I'm like, oh, I got the no-look?
03:03I got the no-look semi-wave off?
03:05Okay.
03:06It's going to be a long four hours, dog.
03:07I was walking down the streets of San Francisco and I know the rules.
03:10You have to be looking at your phone.
03:12Exactly.
03:12I wasn't going to turn around and look at you because then I wouldn't have been looking at
03:15my phone.
03:16I know the rules.
03:17I'm a rule follower.
03:18Did you two vote?
03:19I just had somebody call in to prove that I voted.
03:22Yeah.
03:22My man.
03:23Dropped it off on Saturday.
03:24Same.
03:25It's my favorite thing because my wife wants to like sit down together and vote.
03:29And so we vote together and like we'll be, you know, doing.
03:32And we'll vote together.
03:33Well, and honestly, like I would say 80% of the stuff on the ballot, it's like, I have
03:38no idea.
03:39Like a municipal judge, like are we going to vote for judge whomever to be reelected?
03:45And it's like, I don't know.
03:47So you either go to like the Chronicle or you go to whatever source.
03:52And then they give you the recommendations like, okay, that's a yes.
03:55And then we got down to some of the propositions and she's like, I'm thinking about a yes on
04:00this one.
04:00And I was like, I'm pretty sure I'm a no.
04:02And she says, no, I'm going to go yes just to counteract you.
04:06And it's like, okay, I mean, what are we doing?
04:08Cancel each other out.
04:09I would know you were a yes.
04:10That's fine.
04:11Just stay home then.
04:12Exactly.
04:12Stop wasting time.
04:13Well, the thing that I like they do now is there'll be the question or the ballot initiative
04:19and then they'll say, you know, who's voting for this?
04:24Bernie Sanders.
04:25You know, who's against it?
04:26Oh, the Proud Boys.
04:27Okay.
04:28I think I know where I'm going here.
04:30You know, it's like, that's completely how I vote.
04:33I just go on the internet and I'm like, who's in and who's out?
04:37Exactly.
04:38I like the people who are in.
04:39That's pretty good.
04:40So I'm in too.
04:41Oh, that's pretty good.
04:41What are we going to do?
04:43Read for a week?
04:44Right.
04:44Stop.
04:45We're not reading for a week.
04:47I usually find out what's-his-face Johnson with the Giants is going to do, and then I just
04:53follow right along.
04:54Was it Charles Johnson?
04:55Oh, man.
04:56Yes, you're right aligned.
04:58You're perfectly aligned with us.
04:59How much money did Charles Johnson throw toward this or that?
05:03And if it's a hundred grand, yeah, Charlie, Chuck, I'm right with you.
05:07I'm right behind you.
05:08Y'all on fire early, man.
05:12Austin and San Jose called.
05:13But he said, K. Willis and Stiney, are you going to do at the summit the apologize to
05:19pods?
05:20I'm like, nah, that line is already starting to form.
05:23I mean.
05:23I mean, come on, man.
05:24We ain't taking a bad pod call.
05:26How long?
05:27I said eight games in.
05:28I get it.
05:29But my man is doing well for himself.
05:31Exactly.
05:32Everybody got a sock in their mouth all of a sudden.
05:35What happened, everybody?
05:38Man.
05:38What happened?
05:39He's playing, Dibs.
05:40I got to give him a friend.
05:40He's letting it come to him.
05:43They're fans.
05:44You don't need to actually apologize.
05:47But yeah, everybody was wrong.
05:51Yeah.
05:51You let me come to him, Dibs.
05:53Hey, Steph, make a free throw.
05:56Could you, but that was.
05:57For those of us who are laying the three, make a free throw.
06:01You laid the three?
06:02Oh.
06:02It's a push, which is fine.
06:03And honestly, if he makes the free throw, then they foul.
06:07Hey, hey, hey.
06:08Yeah, who knows?
06:09Hey, hey, hey, hey, whatever.
06:10But it's like all the free throw.
06:12Like, it's five seconds left.
06:14So, Steph, go ahead and make your 50th in a row.
06:17And now you're 49 for 50.
06:18And I get a push.
06:20Thanks, Steph.
06:20That's pretty good.
06:21Gambling.
06:21Just, I mean, hilarious.
06:23Gambling.
06:23But you're watching that.
06:24And I'm thinking, whatever.
06:25I had it parlayed into Florida minus six earlier because college basketball is back.
06:31No, it's not.
06:33No, it's back, back.
06:34And Florida wins.
06:35And they cover.
06:36I'm like, yeah.
06:36All right, Warriors.
06:37And they're down by, was it 16 or 17?
06:40Whatever it was.
06:41And I'm thinking, all right, you dummy.
06:43Like, third game in four nights.
06:44Why are you betting on the Warriors, you fool, you moron?
06:47And then here they come.
06:49I swiped out.
06:50I swiped out.
06:51You cow, she swiped?
06:52Yeah, Dibs knows what that means.
06:53I swiped out because I'm like, I'm not, like.
06:56That means you cast out early.
06:59You can trade on anything.
07:00And I left a couple bucks on the table because I'm like, I've watched you all at the end of
07:05the game and you screw up.
07:07All right.
07:07You screw up sometimes.
07:08So I just don't, like, I'd rather, let's just call this a dub.
07:11I'd go on the Bears to score over nine and a half in the first half and the Warriors to
07:16win.
07:16That was my deal last night.
07:18I don't know where I came up with that.
07:19And they had 13 in the first half?
07:19Yeah, they did it.
07:20Chicago, man.
07:21As soon as Santos hit that field goal, we were good.
07:23We just need the Warriors to win the game.
07:25D or Cairo?
07:26Cairo.
07:26Okay.
07:27And then you get to the end of the game and I'm like, y'all are messing around a little
07:30bit.
07:30Yeah.
07:31And I'm like, I want to go.
07:32They got to three.
07:33So I'll leave a few on the table.
07:34Let's just swipe out.
07:36It's a very relaxing moment when you just, you're like, the game's still going.
07:41And as a player, you're used to like, okay, we're coming down to the end.
07:45You're like, not me.
07:46Swipe.
07:47Feet up.
07:48We're done.
07:48Done.
07:49You gotta love it.
07:49We're done.
07:50Yep.
07:51So I enjoyed that even though I left a couple bucks on the table.
07:53That's fine.
07:54The Calci swipe is good.
07:55Yep.
07:56All right.
07:56So.
07:57Hi, Stiney.
07:57One of the things that Dan Dibley over the course of his career has become known for
08:03is his evaluation of Bay Area media.
08:08And Dan has done a job of Dan takes the local media landscape, personalities, et cetera.
08:17And he puts them in tiers.
08:19Um, and I believe he's got at least three tiers, maybe more, usually four.
08:24And I just got my media credential and it says I'm tier two.
08:30Now you've always classified me as a tier three.
08:34Right.
08:34Right.
08:35So it says tier two.
08:38So is my career on the upswing?
08:40It might be.
08:41And just to be fair for people who don't know what the tiers are, it's kind of like a pyramid
08:45where you get to the absolute top of the pyramid and that's tier one.
08:49And if you're in that top pyramid, that means you've got, uh, audio, you've got video, you've
08:55got social media.
08:56You are an absolute big boy slash girl in the media landscape.
09:01Give me an example of a tier one player.
09:02Well, uh, the example used to be Gary Radnich who, you know, he was doing the Kron thing
09:07and he was doing KNBR.
09:08And so he was doing the two big, big time things right now.
09:12It's a little bit tougher because the landscape has gotten to be so much more watered down
09:17in terms of, you know, the impact of like what you're actually doing.
09:21And so like quietly Bonte Hill is now, he, if he's not tier one, he's definitely tier two.
09:27Tier one would be like Sal Castaneda, somebody everybody's heard of, been around forever.
09:34You walk into a bar with Sal Castaneda and that beautiful, gigantic head.
09:39So Abanez would be tier one too.
09:40I think Abanez now is kind of like a tier one mothballs.
09:44Okay.
09:44He was, yes, he was absolutely a tier one too.
09:49And that is the retired life.
09:51And yes, and certainly when he was, you know, doing what he was doing, absolutely.
09:55He was at that pinnacle.
09:56And now like the tier one group is a lot smaller in sports media because of, you know,
10:02the fractured nature of our business.
10:04Man.
10:05See, I got to put Bonte at tier 1.5.
10:07Is he doing both?
10:09Well, he did both.
10:10Well, see, that's the thing.
10:12That's the thing.
10:13He's only doing part-time radio.
10:15You know, the big boys like Radnich.
10:17I mean, they were, they were staying up late, getting up early.
10:21Man.
10:22Right.
10:23Yeah, but the word both.
10:25I'm with you.
10:26But I think there's a lot more than both.
10:29Like there's radio and TV and then there's a hundred other things.
10:33I mean, there's a lot of people who are doing really well that are doing neither.
10:37No.
10:38Like what's Kawakami?
10:39I would say that he would be tier one in this conversation.
10:42I mean, his podcast is very popular and he apparently writes for a website that I don't
10:49subscribe to, which, you know, I'd like to, but I'm already oversubscribed.
10:53And like, if you just say the name in the sports landscape, people know who you're talking
10:57about.
10:58And it's Draymond on Twitter.
11:00He just fights with everybody.
11:01Yep.
11:02It's entertaining.
11:03Matt Mayoko?
11:05I think he's, yeah, absolutely still tier one.
11:08How about Mark Spears?
11:08Mark Spears to me is a classic tier two because it's, he's more of a national voice.
11:15I don't think that he has that same local resonance that, you know, somebody like a Tim
11:21Kawakami otherwise would.
11:23And again, now it's, it's just so different because you've got like websites, YouTube
11:28podcasts.
11:28Is that what you were talking about?
11:30Exactly.
11:31Right.
11:33And apologies to our quote competition.
11:36That's not our competition.
11:37And by the way, you're not the leader either.
11:40Like the closest thing that you can sniff to a tier two is Brian Murphy, who I love, but
11:45the rest of you, tier three, four, and maybe five, if I've even heard of you.
11:51Tupac, back of Bentley.
11:52You're listening.
11:54What?
11:54What happened?
11:55You're listening to 95.7, the game, KGMZ, FM, and HD1 San Francisco and Odyssey Sports
11:59Station.
12:00Always live on the free Odyssey app and now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
12:04Your fault.
12:05They're all, I mean, you started everyone's career.
12:07Now that's, it's not going well, it's on you.
12:09It is.
12:10And I mean, shout out Kate Scott, whose career I also started and what a great run for Kate
12:15doing play-by-play on USA for the Valkyries.
12:18And doing the Sixers.
12:20I mean, she's awesome.
12:22She's doing awesome.
12:23She's doing really well.
12:24Any correlation?
12:25I don't come in here with any agendas, but I didn't like Draymond, what he did.
12:29I don't think his coaching staff are players, but they, they said what was right.
12:33They had their brother's back.
12:35Any correlation, Dibs, with them being down to him with him in it, that he goes out and
12:39then they come back?
12:40Yeah.
12:41The correlation is he lit a fire under them.
12:43He sent a message to the rest of the team.
12:46Like, you got to go out there and be tough.
12:49Yeah.
12:49You never know if he's being sarcastic or not, huh?
12:51But this one, I'm thinking, it might be sarcastic.
12:54It's kind of both.
12:55The answer is yes.
12:57Yes.
12:58Like, if you think Dan Dibbley might be being sarcastic, the answer is yes.
13:03Well, let's just look at it.
13:05There's a genuine thought in there somewhere.
13:07You got to dig, though.
13:08He commits a flagrant and throws down somebody that we've never heard of, which is what Draymond
13:13does.
13:14Like, if you're a lesser player, I'm going to go out there and hunt for you.
13:17Yeah, he didn't deserve it.
13:18The rook was just trying to get his spot, but go ahead.
13:20Right.
13:20I mean, it was a flagrant foul, and honestly, I thought it was a flagrant two, but instead
13:24it was a tee, and then you get another tee, you get the little tee, you get the big tee,
13:27and now you're gone.
13:28But when he leaves, the offense gets better, but the defense gets worse.
13:33So we do need to talk about the effect of Draymond Green.
13:36When he gets thrown out and he goes to the locker room, well, now the offense feels a
13:41little bit more free because he is an offensive negative, but defensively, they could not
13:46stop anybody after he left.
13:47But they did to come back.
13:49They were down 10.
13:50I thought they got after it defensively to allow them to come back.
13:54I thought it was the fact that they scored, what, 41 points in the third, I think was
13:58the number.
13:59So, I mean, the defense got worse.
14:02The offense got better.
14:03And ultimately, in the NBA, in the regular season, it's probably more important to have
14:07a good offense than a good defense.
14:08But I do think that the Draymond question is fascinating because he still is, if he's
14:14not elite as a defender, he's still very good.
14:17And when you lose him, now your defense really suffers.
14:21But offensively, he is kind of a nightmare.
14:24He's an anchor.
14:25And so when he leaves, the offense gets better.
14:28So, which is more important?
14:32Stiney?
14:34Stiney?
14:35I mean, he's playing 28 minutes a night.
14:38I think he's a 22-minute-a-game player at this point, which isn't dramatic.
14:42I mean, it's a significant.
14:45But, you know, there just gets to a point when you can't play 28 minutes a night and
14:52average 3.2 points.
14:53You just can't.
14:55And as his defense ages, you know, the disparity between him not scoring and his defense not
15:04being elite becomes something you talk about.
15:06I don't think he should be out of the rotation.
15:10But I think he's starting to see that this team is growing beyond him right now.
15:17And he's going to have to, like, kind of come to terms with it and figure out how he wants
15:22to get this last year done with the Warriors.
15:25Because I do think he's got to, there's a chance that he could get really, really frustrated
15:31if they're not all on the same page with him this year.
15:35I feel like it's a why question.
15:38And this is what I kind of want to throw out there.
15:42And I think we'll talk about this some today.
15:44It has become very, very in vogue for fans and some media members, too, to just be like,
15:52well, Draymond's done.
15:53And we're sick of his act.
15:55And this behavior's ridiculous.
15:57And I know a lot of fans can't wait for the Warriors to move on from him at the end
16:03of the
16:03year.
16:03And sure, they're better without him, right?
16:06Okay, if that's the case, then why, through all of these years, have the Warriors, like
16:15the actual, the core of the Warriors, call them the couriers if you want, why are they
16:23so stuck to him?
16:25Why would there be a parade of the core of the Warriors last night saying, you know what,
16:31we were dead fish until Draymond did that?
16:33I think a fan looks at this and goes, this behavior's ridiculous.
16:37They got better without you.
16:39Why are we doing this?
16:41Why?
16:41And it's not just, oh, they've got their brother's back.
16:44It can't just be that.
16:46This is professional sports.
16:48If somebody is, watch what the Vikings are probably going to do with Kyler Murray on Monday
16:52night.
16:53They're not going to have his back.
16:54They're going to make up an injury.
16:56Because he's not good.
16:57I'm 50 minutes removed from saying Draymond's biggest compliment to him is what you just
17:03echoed and laid out.
17:05How can I get mad?
17:06And I do get mad at him.
17:07If the people on his team and the ones that employ him at every turn, even the pool thing,
17:14have had his back.
17:15How can I get in front and be more upset when it doesn't seem to penetrate?
17:20They don't feel that way.
17:22And I've got mad at that culture for not calling them out.
17:25But I just, 40 minutes removed, Donnie can't have my back.
17:28I said, they must feel a different way.
17:31They absolutely feel a different way.
17:34And why?
17:36That I don't know.
17:37But he gets credit for it.
17:39Right.
17:39Like, is there a lot going on that we don't see?
17:43I work on that assumption almost all the time, quite frankly, because that's omnipresent.
17:48There's always stuff going on behind the scenes that we don't see.
17:52I don't think he's got naked pictures of anyone.
17:55Right, right.
17:55Like all the little easy jokes that we throw out.
17:57Or the dinner with Lakeup.
17:59Why?
18:00Why is Steph Curry so adamant that he is a huge part of their success?
18:10Why?
18:10If it's not true.
18:12Like, why would he do this?
18:14Why would Steve Kerr act this way?
18:18To what end?
18:19How is it helping them if he's so bad and so awful to be around and just so out of
18:25pocket?
18:26Right.
18:27It makes no sense.
18:28And I think that it's kind of devolved into a spot like where Ben Wallace was with Detroit,
18:32where, you know, Ben Wallace would go for one point and 15 rebounds and no assists.
18:38But Draymond Green, if you look at his games this year, he was a plus 17 against the Lakers.
18:43And they win.
18:44He was a plus three against Minnesota.
18:46They win.
18:47He was a plus seven against Denver.
18:49They won.
18:50And the other games, he was a negative.
18:52They lost.
18:52And so I do think that beyond him scoring, which he may not score in double digits again this year.
18:59So far, his high points in a game is five.
19:04His season high is five points.
19:06But if he goes out there and he gets, you know, six assists and seven assists and he gets four
19:11or five rebounds and he gets a steal and a block and he plays good D.
19:14And like Stein, he was saying, I don't know if 22 minutes is the number.
19:18It's not 30.
19:19It's probably somewhere in between.
19:20Can he go out there and play half the game or a little bit more, play good defense, turn it
19:26over less than normal and, you know, pass the ball and get assists and get rebounds and go out there
19:32and be somewhat of an enforcer?
19:33That can still be a net positive.
19:36I do think, you know, there may be something going on.
19:40I mean, you know, I do think it's interesting that Steve Kerr talked about, oh, we want Draymond shooting threes
19:48this year.
19:48Well, he's shooting fewer threes than he has at any point in his career almost, except for his rookie year.
19:56So I think there's, I think it's a fair question to ask about, like, this is supposed to be easy.
20:04If you, you know, take your threes.
20:06Is he not open?
20:07Is he not confident?
20:08Is he not doing it because he's just not used to doing it?
20:11Is he not doing it because he doesn't want to do it?
20:14I don't know, but that was the one part that Steve Kerr seemed to make a, like, that was their
20:19big thing.
20:20We want Draymond taking more threes.
20:22And he's not even close.
20:23That is, it's an odd comment that was made.
20:27The other thing that I see, though, I'm curious because I, a lot of people loved that stat last night
20:33that Charles Bassey, who, by the way, joins us at four.
20:35Oh, okay.
20:36Nice.
20:37Yeah, Bassey's going to come on with us at four.
20:38So, he made seven field goals last night, and that's how many Draymond's made this year.
20:44Like, wow.
20:45But, here's my response to that.
20:47I don't understand why Warrior fans want Draymond Green scoring.
20:52Like, I hear this a lot.
20:54Let me just do this.
20:55Let me just jump in.
20:56Why can you be, you should be out there to talk to him.
20:59Right.
20:59The coach wants him to shoot three, so ask the coach that if you're going to ask the fans.
21:05And we, you know what I mean?
21:06Because he's got all what you're talking about.
21:08We can and we will, but this is not just a this year take.
21:11I've never really wanted Draymond Green to score.
21:14Like, if he can do it, great.
21:16But when he starts lining up right before he releases the ball, are you like, yeah, Draymond?
21:22No, I'm like, no!
21:25I mean, one of the reasons they're shooting close to 40% is probably because he's not taking threes.
21:30Right, and he is a good passer, and he is a smart player.
21:34Leads and assists.
21:34I don't care if he scores.
21:35They've got more scoring options now than they've had in the past.
21:39And they're going to, in theory, in a couple months, acquire more than Jimmy Butler.
21:44I don't want Draymond Green shooting.
21:46I do think it's a little bit of an eyebrow raise for me, and I know it's a small sample,
21:50six games in.
21:51But last year, he averaged 4.6 three-point attempts a game.
21:55This year, he's at 1.2.
21:57Like, Will, there's a part of me that's saying, is he doing that?
22:00Like, y'all don't just tell me to go to Fry's after I've been doing all this forever.
22:05Like, you know, you don't just tell the people I'm going to just let them go, and I'm not good
22:09at it.
22:10Well, I mean, he's okay at it.
22:12Like, last year, he shot 32.6%, which is not great, but it's better than what he's at this year,
22:19which is 28.6.
22:20And I just wonder, in his own mind, like, what is he thinking about offensively?
22:26And, you know, a lot of it is he's just going to distribute, and he's trying to get Steph the
22:30ball and this and that.
22:31And, you know, now you have Yaxel, who's the clear-cut number two offensive threat.
22:35But, you know, Draymond Green, last year, it seemed like he was a lot more eager to go in the
22:40corner and shoot the three
22:41and, you know, pull up above the break, as Tim would say, and shoot the three.
22:45But this year, he's just not.
22:47I mean, Melk is active.
22:49Williams.
22:50Brandon Williams.
22:51Pods.
22:52You have options.
22:54You have options.
22:55And so if – I don't know what the answer to your question is.
22:58It's a fair one.
22:59We'll ask Steve tomorrow.
23:00I think this is a very fair question.
23:02But at the same time, like, I don't – to me, Draymond Green shooting a ball, that's a settle.
23:09And the only reason I bring it up is the coach who told the fans to expect that.
23:13And I guess that's why I'm – I'm like, well, yeah.
23:16And now James is saying it's lower than it's ever been.
23:18The coach also told the fans that the Warriors needed to come back with more people who could play back
23:22-to-backs.
23:23Then they brought the whole roster back.
23:25So I – you know, I don't know.
23:28I'm feeling good about the team.
23:29It's eight games in.
23:30Hey, are they good?
23:32I think they're good.
23:33Guru said they're making the playoffs.
23:34Led by Steph Curry.
23:35If he stays healthy –
23:37Yeah, but making the playoffs has never been a mark for being good.
23:40I think it – I think you would –
23:41Before the season started, you would have taken it.
23:44No doubt.
23:44But, like, are they good?
23:47They were going to win 20 games when they were all in three.
23:51Now they've won five in a row.
23:53I got it.
23:55Like, are they good?
23:58They're all right.
24:00And you got Jimmy coming back at some point.
24:02See.
24:03See.
24:04Well, we expect him back.
24:05See.
24:06Yep.
24:07Yep.
24:07It won't hurt, is what I'm saying.
24:09Well, we don't know that.
24:11I mean, they could be on a four-game winning streak.
24:14He comes back, and he's not himself, and they lose.
24:17Damn, Will, you went private school on me.
24:19Like, I feel like making the playoffs, that's a good team.
24:22Not a great team.
24:23Like anything in life, it's a matter of what your starting perspective was.
24:28I didn't think – I was just get out the play-in.
24:30Steph Curry would disagree with you.
24:31He was offended by the idea that the goal was to make the playoffs.
24:35Remember that?
24:36Before the season started, he walked out of a press conference.
24:40So, like, being one of the top 16 out of 30, great, or whatever.
24:45But, like, I just – and it doesn't even matter.
24:47We're only eight games in.
24:48I just wonder what everybody thinks.
24:50Are they good?
24:51I mean, to me, if you're a top six team in the West, you're pretty good.
24:55Okay.
24:56Because last year, that was the delineating point.
24:59And that did happen.
24:59Six and up won 49 or more games.
25:02So, yeah, I mean, I think there's a difference.
25:04If you're a top six team in the West, I do think you're a good team.
25:08Do you think they're a top six team in the West?
25:10Not right now.
25:11Okay.
25:12And I think they can be.
25:14All right, guys.
25:15We'll leave it there.
25:17Bassey at four.
25:18Bassey at four.
25:20Stink.
25:21Mark Slareth at three.
25:22And Monty Poole at 445.
25:24Monty.
25:25All right.
25:26Okay, Stiney.
25:27Have a good one.
25:27Great talk.
25:28Have a good one.
