00:00I just want to tell you, I really love your show.
00:04Okay, Guru and Evan, unbelievable show.
00:10Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:14All right, it's time for the crossover brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:18Rest easy.
00:18We've got you covered.
00:20Bayalarm.com.
00:21Giddings in for Steinmetz, Daryl the Guru, Johnson, Mark Willard, Dan Dibley.
00:24What's going on, fellas?
00:25Let's get out the way I got here at 11.
00:28Yeah.
00:2811 at 9.
00:2911 at 9.
00:32I-80 officer involved shooting.
00:34It was a fatality.
00:35We believe you.
00:37Exactly.
00:38Stiney said I can't fight the only question is do we believe you or not.
00:42I believe you.
00:43I believe you.
00:44I was texting you on the way.
00:46This is an elaborate lie if it's a lie.
00:48And I believe it because my wife was up in Congress with our daughter.
00:52She was in it.
00:52She was in something that she was like, wait, why is this like this way?
00:57And so I'm looking it up and it's like, oh my God, 680 and 242 going south back to where
01:02we live.
01:02It was like total gridlock.
01:04There you go.
01:04And so she jumps over to go on Pleasant Hill Road, which is kind of our backside to go from
01:09Pleasant Hill down to Lafayette.
01:12And that was gridlocked.
01:13And she's like, it says 12 minutes and now it's 15 and now it's 18.
01:18And I'm like, okay, hold on.
01:19And so I looked it up.
01:20I'm like, oh my God, this is why Guru was late because 80 and Pinole shut it down.
01:26I go on stage at 10.
01:28So that pressure of I'm not just late.
01:30And I'm like, and then I'm prep at nine.
01:33No, but like the great Gary Radnich and I, I love Gary and I, hopefully somewhere he's
01:39out there.
01:40He loves, he's actually out there doing things.
01:42And I talked to him about eight months ago, but he would show up at 859 and leave at 1201.
01:48This whole thing was nine to noon, but he lived in the city.
01:51And so he didn't have to worry about like 80 and Pinole, but you try to show up here at
01:56like eight 30 and you know, in the green room and Stiney and, and Evan and Matt, I'm
02:02in the lab and whatever.
02:03I was getting mad at Evan and he was nothing, doing nothing but support me.
02:07I'm like, you do warrior pre and post solo all the time.
02:10You don't need Shadkins, but don't let them go.
02:13It's not for the people to reconfigure.
02:15It's Evan.
02:15I guess we're going to be throwing a break today at 1024.
02:18I'm like, what's going on?
02:19I actually got in the car and the show open is hitting at 1030.
02:24And I thought I was on the app.
02:25I'm like, wait a minute.
02:27I went, why am I, I'm a half hour behind.
02:30What the hell is going on?
02:30I didn't even know that, Evan.
02:32I just get a text from you with different numbers and times.
02:35And I just respond, text to he and he said, I have.
02:38And he just starts sending me pictures of bumpers and brake lights.
02:42And I'm like, I get your entrapping.
02:45Here's what's not good for our ego.
02:47And I don't know.
02:48I can't remember if I told you guys this story on the air or off, but the whole thing
02:52where we were out in Sonoma for my Sunday Fox show and the equipment didn't work.
02:56I remember that.
02:57So I missed the first 40 minutes of the show, but I was just trying to get logged on.
03:04I'm driving all over, trying to find a spot for the equipment to work.
03:08Lovely Christy is like listening to the show.
03:10And she calls and she goes, I want you to know, the only person stressed is you.
03:16That's amazing, man.
03:17They're on the air and they're fine.
03:21You're freaking out.
03:22They're just doing the show.
03:24They're fine without you.
03:25All I could think of was gooning is, I've done the backyard boogie before.
03:30I can do this.
03:30I'm like, yeah, that's my version of that would be a Sputnik, right?
03:34I'll just be the guy in space just floating around there.
03:36He held it down.
03:38Of course, man.
03:38You got a short show.
03:40We got a short show today, too.
03:41Oh, that's right.
03:42Yeah.
03:43Warriors live at 3.30.
03:44Look at you.
03:45That's why you guys are there.
03:46That's why we look so happy.
03:48Look at everything like y'all gluing.
03:50Now I get shorty.
03:51A little less prep today.
03:52That's all.
03:52But I'll say this about Waze.
03:55My dad doesn't like it.
03:56He's old school.
03:57I swear by it, but we got a divorce today.
03:59Waze let me down in a lot of ways.
04:02Oh, I thought you were going to be a good dad.
04:02And I just got to tell you, I turned that off and said I'm being hand solo and I'm going for her.
04:08Highway 4 and I got here faster than what she was doing.
04:11That's what I was for a half hour.
04:11I will tell you about Waze.
04:14Half a 3.
04:15I predict that you and Waze are going to get back together because Waze and I have broken up before, too.
04:20And we always get back together.
04:21I've learned, just like any partner, Waze has a hole in its game.
04:28And it's when that stuff happens.
04:30Wow.
04:30Because what it does is it over promises and then it under delivers.
04:34It's like there's a traffic jam up there.
04:36It's going to take you an extra 20 minutes.
04:38And then that 20 minutes goes by and it's like, how about another 20 minutes?
04:43It keeps moving the goalposts.
04:46But it doesn't know because it's a computer.
04:48Because Waze doesn't know, and I'm going to say this to all three of you and everyone listening to the sound of my voice because I grew up in traffic.
04:56My whole career is born out of traffic.
04:59And what you do is you go to KCBS, All News 74, 106.9 on the FM app or 740, and they're going to give you an actual human being who can look at what's going on and tell you the reality of the situation.
05:13So Waze is like, oh, boy, Waze is like, oh, my God, all lanes blocked.
05:19It's going to be an extra five minutes and then extra nine could be 13, might be 17, could be 22.
05:25If you listen to a human being and it's your big daddy, Victor Zadagosa, in the midday, 10 to 2, he's going to be able to look at it and say, all lanes are closed, go somewhere else.
05:37And so that's where you tune to 106.9, 740 KCBS on the 8s, traffic and weather together, and they're going to give you the actual real time.
05:47And so I love AI, I love chat GPT, and I love Waze.
05:52But when you want like an actual read on what's going on, you go to a human being.
05:58Humans are still greater than machines.
06:01The thing is, all of these apps use largely the same data.
06:08So if you're going to Google Maps or Waze or Apple Maps or any of the apps you use, odds are they're probably going to give you the same route.
06:17Maybe, but Waze is more optimistic than Google.
06:21I'm just going to say it.
06:22When did they 20 minutes go, Waze?
06:24It's owned by Google.
06:26They share the same data.
06:27Google is like my mom.
06:29She's just wrapping in an extra 15 minutes because you don't know what could happen.
06:33Something bad could happen out there, and Waze is my dad.
06:37That'll be fine.
06:38And here's the difference.
06:41So like Waze and Google, and I love them both, but if something like that happens today,
06:46which is officer-involved shooting, the freeway is closed.
06:50So Waze doesn't get that and say, oh, my God, it's going to be an hour.
06:55It's going to be an hour and a half.
06:56Waze only looks at the data of cars and the cars that are going through, and then they slowly, slowly, slowly add that up.
07:05But in real time.
07:06Victor would tell us real time.
07:06Exactly.
07:07Victor would say, officer-involved shooting, and it's a fatality, and the freeway is going to be closed for five hours.
07:17So like in that moment, you can realize that, oh, my God, I'm not getting through.
07:22I should go elsewhere.
07:23But Waze, much like these Waymo cars, and I love Waymo, but like Waymo is.
07:28We need way less.
07:30Maybe.
07:30I'm just, sorry.
07:32It's a three whether we agree or not.
07:34It's a three in the city.
07:36I'll save that for Friday.
07:38The machines only know what the machines know.
07:41And the machines actually only know, in some ways, what people tell them.
07:45Exactly.
07:46Waze tells on itself.
07:48You know when they're like, there's a stopped car ahead, and then when you get there, it's like, is it still there?
07:53I'm like, you figure it out.
07:55Why are you asking me?
07:56Now I'm playing video games on my car when I'm supposed to be stopping, watching the road.
08:01Don't ask me if it's still there.
08:03You tell me if it's still there.
08:05That's why you're on my phone.
08:07That is hilarious.
08:08So you said for you, Waze is the more optimistic.
08:11Waze is more optimistic than Google.
08:13So are you looking at the Golden State Warriors direction for the rest of the season through the lens of Waze?
08:17Your crossover transitions lately have really, hey, that's why you can do a show by yourself.
08:26It's because you can do stuff like that.
08:27Or if you're forced to.
08:28I'm sorry, what was the question?
08:29Are you optimistic about the Golden State Warriors?
08:32Are you the Waymo of Golden State Warriors?
08:34I'm just looking for a turn.
08:37Goo couldn't find one today.
08:38Waymo just hits the brakes when it sees a person, which I appreciate, by the way.
08:42That's true.
08:42I mean, just 20 seconds on that.
08:44When I see a Waymo, I intentionally will bolt and phone them.
08:47Don't do that.
08:48Don't do that.
08:49Mark, who are you talking to?
08:50There is a person in there.
08:51They're just in the backseat.
08:53There's no person in there.
08:54There is a person in there.
08:55They're just not driving.
08:57But you know what?
08:58If I see a Waymo, I'm going to boldly jaywalk, and I dare you to hit me, Waymo.
09:03You won't.
09:03You can't.
09:04I love Waymo.
09:04You're not allowed to.
09:05I did that on accident one time.
09:07We need Waymo of them.
09:08There's no doubt.
09:09I thought that the Waymo was, I was anticipating, and I thought the Waymo, but the Waymo's got
09:15so many cameras, I kind of stepped into the street on the side of it.
09:19Oh, okay.
09:19Not in front of it.
09:20Gotcha.
09:20I'm like, it's passing.
09:22I'm going to go behind it.
09:23Yep.
09:23I took one step to the side of it, and the Waymo's like, what?
09:27Stop.
09:28On a dime.
09:28And I love that.
09:29It's got good, yeah.
09:30It's got good transitional speed, Waymo.
09:32Super safe Waymo.
09:33Yep.
09:33Anyway, what was the question again?
09:35Go to Sour Time, man.
09:37You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGM, ZFM, and HD1 San Francisco, and Odyssey Sports Station.
09:41Always live in the free Odyssey app, and now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
09:45Golden State, well, you guys got to talk about it at 3.30, because you got Warriors Live.
09:484.30 tip, Warriors Mavs.
09:51I was listening to your conversation yesterday with Steve Kerr, and I understand that he has
09:57to basically just put his head down and move forward.
09:59My feeling like watching yesterday and listening to him with you guys yesterday is it feels
10:06like last year before Jimmy got traded here, only with, I guess, Melton and Horford that
10:13are healthy, and he's kind of back into, I got to throw a bleep at a wall and see if it's
10:18six mode until they try and find something.
10:21And it might be good enough to beat the Mavericks tonight, but the one thing I don't think they
10:25can do, and he is willing to do, is go backwards.
10:30I don't feel like the remainder of this season is going to be one where we're thinking about
10:34them tanking.
10:37No, it's too late.
10:39The problem with what, like, I think your assessment is correct, but I don't know that
10:45we can take Steve Kerr at face value on those comments, but I also don't think that that's
10:52criticism worthy.
10:54Like, what's he supposed to say?
10:55They can't tank.
10:56They've already got 25 wins.
10:58Like, it won't work.
11:00It won't work, and the PR for it would be horrible.
11:03So they're going to say right now that they're going to try to figure it out, and I think that
11:08they will try to figure it out.
11:10I don't know.
11:10You can try and take a Mavericks approach, like last year.
11:13What is the Mavericks approach?
11:14Well, they got extremely lucky, which is they barely dipped into the lottery and ended up
11:18with the number one pick.
11:191%.
11:20Yeah.
11:21I don't, yeah, that doesn't feel, 1% is not a strategy.
11:25That's, that's just a lotto ticket.
11:27You know what I mean?
11:28So like, yeah, I think they're going to try.
11:29I can't say that anybody would be optimistic that that's going to work.
11:35Right, right.
11:35So, and they have to play coy too, because this is all happening in the middle of lying season.
11:39Which, I told Evan, could be the one good part about this timing of this injury, is you
11:46do have the deadline to play with if you want to get frisky, and I know it's hard, trades
11:52are hard, but I just love the fact that the trade deadline has not come and gone, and then
11:57this injury happened.
11:58So if you want to go Kenny Rogers, the gambler, all in, I'm just saying as an organization
12:03and try to offset the Jimmy Butler injury and get you something, if it's truly all about
12:08Steph, I think you have an opportunity to go shopping.
12:12If you choose to, you can stay at home, but I will say this, and I told Evan why I'm excited
12:16about what this team is about to embark on, currently constructed.
12:21Different sports, but get your Niners on.
12:23The Niners shocked me when Bosa went down, and I know it's different sports, and Warner
12:29went down.
12:29I personally was like, it's a wrap, Niner fan, you don't even have to be, you could
12:33be disappointed, not mad.
12:35I think, maybe I'm not by myself, they shocked the hell out of me.
12:39Do the Niners have that card in the deck?
12:42It'd be great if the Niners, or I'm sorry, if the Warriors were playing a 14th place schedule.
12:46That true, that too.
12:48I mean, you're right, it's different sports, so I just, I don't know how applicable it
12:51is.
12:52Here's my kind of issue right now.
12:54I hear, I mean, I get it, this is fandom, so it fully makes sense, but I hear that
12:59I hear a lot of, go be aggressive at the trade deadline, and then in the next sentence I
13:03hear it's over.
13:05I don't think you get to, you don't get to be the person that has both of those opinions.
13:09That doesn't make sense.
13:10You can't, how do those fit together?
13:13If it's over, then why on earth would you ever consider trading any first round draft picks?
13:21That, to me, is all, you have to pick, you have to pick a lane.
13:24I'll listen to either, but you gotta pick a lane.
13:27Can't be in both of those lanes.
13:29Doesn't it feel like the Warriors have been reluctant to choose either of those lanes,
13:33though?
13:34Over the last, I mean, really, since they won the championship?
13:37I mean, trading for Jimmy Butler is...
13:39Yeah, but you didn't really pick one, like...
13:43What do you mean?
13:43I mean, you gave up a first round pick that became a player who we barely noticed on Miami
13:47Heat the other night.
13:48Sure, sure, sure, sure.
13:49But, I mean, that's, yeah, I think that that's as aggressive as they could get.
13:54I mean, go back to Dunleavy's statement about demand.
13:57You know, you have to think about what the Warriors have to offer right now.
14:02That's why I think the honest thing is challenging.
14:06I don't know what the Warriors have that would even make the Milwaukee Bucks get into a conversation.
14:11I mean, the one thing that Butler's injury did do is it makes their draft picks look a lot better.
14:20It does.
14:20Because now you might want that draft pick in not just four years.
14:25You might want it in two years.
14:27Because Curry's going to be older.
14:29And the Warriors have already pigeonholed themselves into this scenario where they're paying a guy
14:35$57 million.
14:36It's not going to be available.
14:37I think that was already the case, though.
14:38Like, that pick was already going to be appetizing when Steph was going to be 40
14:42and Jimmy was probably going to be gone and Draymond was gone.
14:44So, I don't know if that pick then gets more appetizing now.
14:49But the thing that I think is tantalizing is, you know, Jimmy Butler as a semi-expiring deal.
14:54Not now, but next year or so.
14:56I mean, could you?
14:58Would you?
14:58And they said that they wouldn't trade him now.
15:00But if the right deal is there, and I know that Tom Haberstroh had a couple of different, like, wild,
15:06and I'll say cockamamie just because I don't know if it's real ideas about what you might be able to get back.
15:11But I think about Steph Curry in 2019-2020 when we were heading into the pandemic
15:17and Steph got hurt after four games.
15:20And then Draymond got hurt, quote-unquote.
15:23And they played, you know, Paschal and Glenn Robinson III, and they played Jordan Poole out of the G League.
15:29And that was kind of a tank year.
15:31To your point, Evan, though, I do think that this year it's too late to tank.
15:35Even if you lost all the games from now until the end of the year,
15:39you're still not going to be a top three lottery ball team.
15:43No chance.
15:44No, I just, well, the reason why they were able to do that is because Steph got hurt.
15:47I think that's the biggest thing.
15:48If Steph was the one who went down instead of Butler, I do think tanking or not trying would be more of a viable strategy
15:57because you don't owe him anything.
16:00But you owe Steph the opportunity to compete at whatever level that is.
16:03And I feel like just unfortunately we're going to find out that that level is lower than some people would like.
16:10I don't.
16:12You all right?
16:13Yeah, I just.
16:15Go ahead.
16:15You guys keep going because I got some.
16:17Is Kaminga Mac Jones?
16:18We were having fun with that.
16:20Is Kaminga Mac Jones called into action, supports the team, keeps him relevant.
16:27Obviously, Brock Purdy's not coming back.
16:29And goes five and three.
16:31Like, I mean, that's kind of the scenario we're having fun with.
16:35Yeah, I mean, not bad.
16:36Not a bad scenario.
16:37But my answer would be no.
16:39I mean, he's not Mac Jones.
16:40And Mac Jones was only Mac Jones because of, you know, McCaffrey and the fact that he he played with Fred Warner for, I think, a couple of those games.
16:50And he had Kittle.
16:51And so, you know, I think that if Kaminga comes in with no Butler, I mean, can they go out there and win half the games?
16:58Sure.
16:59But I don't think that he's going to be able to stem the tide until Jimmy gets back.
17:03My fear is we're staring the rest of this season in the face like we were when right before we pulled the Jimmy move two games under 500.
17:11That's my they had.
17:13He threw that out to the Joes this morning.
17:14And worst case scenario and best case, that's my worst case is we revert back to that to where Steph just has to work so damn hard.
17:23He'll be Steph.
17:24But that's my main like, man, we're asking you to do a lot because you don't have a lot around you.
17:29And that happened to where I came in and told you, Stiney and Dibbs, oh, so I'm worried about Steph.
17:34The spacing doesn't seem to be there.
17:36Is he losing a step?
17:37No, it turned out he wasn't.
17:39But now that piece is off the chessboard, the bishop.
17:42And now I'm just worried even tonight, teams are getting more friskier.
17:46Just I'm going to stay with you no matter what.
17:48And I'm nervous.
17:50I mean, it's like the Warriors will get defended the same way Christian McCaffrey gets defended with the 49ers.
17:57Like that's that's that's so you call it worst case scenario.
18:00I just call it that that is the scenario.
18:03That's where we are.
18:04Now, Carr yesterday kept pointing to he mentioned a lot of D'Anthony Melton.
18:11And I get it.
18:11Like he he's an exciting player.
18:13Like he looks really good.
18:15It's perfect.
18:15I know that he doesn't play all of the games yet.
18:18Maybe he'll get there.
18:19Maybe they'll be able to get him to 25, 30 minutes a night.
18:21I don't think he's obviously not that kind of a game changer.
18:25But it is somebody who can handle a little bit of a scoring load and and do all of that.
18:31But yeah, I mean, the non-step minutes were right back to where we were a year and a half ago.
18:37And the step minutes were right back to where we were a year and a half ago.
18:41So they got two weeks to surprise us.
18:45But I again, I just this is my comp for the 49ers at their trade deadline.
18:53We all had the conversation of, well, you have a winning record.
18:57We'd like you to do something.
19:00But the Niners were kind of like, it'd be stupid for us to push everything into the middle of the table for this team.
19:07Isn't it the exact same thing?
19:09The only difference is, is the Kaminga situation, which is unique.
19:13But I don't know if there's a good offer there.
19:16Yeah, Evan, you had my back.
19:17You guys looked at me like, what happened?
19:19Good, we were the lights on and the lights are on.
19:21But I wanted to switch it up before we get out of here because you didn't have my back.
19:24But we had a passionate conversation.
19:26I just want your guys' thoughts real quick here.
19:28I defended Colin and John on this Iyuk situation.
19:33I'm really concerned.
19:34I've got my own concerns about my life.
19:36But they did right by Brandon Iyuk.
19:39They did not see what he is doing.
19:41And I think he's harming himself financially, what have you.
19:44This is off the map out of left field, right field, center field.
19:48And I feel like they awarded him that money and that contract to be the next.
19:53And he stabbed them in the back.
19:55And I'm concerned about the guy, the individual.
19:58I truly am because now I feel like you're harming yourself.
20:01So Evan said, you know, I'm paraphrasing for Evan, they bear some responsibility.
20:07But I feel like it's 95-5 that they didn't see.
20:12Steve Austin, the bionic man, didn't see Iyuk pulling whatever you want to dub this.
20:18Well, I mean, and this is Mark's words, and I'm going to use them because he's absolutely right.
20:22But Iyuk showed you who he was a long, long, long, long, long time before.
20:27So it's on them for not seeing it.
20:30But Iyuk showed you that, you know, he went to the facility and said, they say they don't want me.
20:35He did the IG with Jaden Daniels.
20:37Yeah, that was terrible.
20:38It was terrible.
20:39And it was all these things.
20:40And yet, when it came down to the nitty-gritty, Kyle Shanahan ran up the stairs and said, don't trade him.
20:46We need to keep him.
20:48So it's, to me, more on the organization than it's on the player because the player showed you who he was.
20:54But that was before you paid him.
20:56So I thought the money was what it was ailing him.
20:58They don't want me.
20:59We gave you the bag, and this is what you do?
21:02That's like having a baby to save a bad marriage.
21:05Like that, no.
21:06Too soon there.
21:07Sorry.
21:08I'm going to walk.
21:09TBD.
21:10Like, I just, yeah, Brandon, okay, Brandon, in calendar year 2025, he gets all the blame.
21:20In calendar year 2024, the 49ers are completely complicit.
21:26So to Evan, I don't want to speak for you, you can go, but to Evan's point, you're saying they should have saw this coming?
21:30Of course they should have saw this coming.
21:32We all had an entire summer-long debate about this, and I remember, I mean, everybody stood in different spots.
21:38I was saying pay him.
21:40They gave him a lot.
21:40And I was saying trade him.
21:42Like, trade him.
21:43The second Kyle supposedly ran up those stairs, I kept telling dibs, told this dibs to this for months.
21:49I wish the door had been locked.
21:51Don't stop that trade to the Steelers.
21:54This guy, now, he didn't show this, but he was given all kinds of clues.
22:00So, yeah, Brandon, it's hard for any of us to relate or understand what the hell Brandon is doing this year.
22:06Something's going on.
22:07But the 49ers absolutely should not have signed that contract.
22:12Wow, Evan.
22:13I mean, I think it's because it's not like you're running up the stairs for Jamar Chase or for Justin Jefferson.
22:20But that's where he was going to be to your team.
22:22But he wasn't.
22:23I mean, he's a good player.
22:25Brandon Ayuk was coming off a 1,400-yard season.
22:27He was a second-team All-Pro.
22:29He was a good player.
22:31But you were not dependent on Brandon Ayuk.
22:34You did not have to bend the way you bent for Nick Bosa, even to an extent Debo Samuel off the year that he had in 2021.
22:42Like, Brandon Ayuk was a piece, not the piece.
22:47And so, to me, number one, you've had him in the building for four years.
22:50You should have had an idea of what kind of person he was.
22:52And then, number two, if you weren't going to trade him, I just don't understand bending time and time again to give him what he wanted to position him with all the power.
23:03Because, clearly, he didn't want to be here.
23:06I mean, that's my biggest takeaway from all this.
23:08But why did he sign?
23:09I don't know.
23:10I think he did at the time.
23:11Because he thought they were going to trade him.
23:12Like, who knows?
23:13Plus, just like, why did Jonathan Kaminga sign?
23:18He didn't want to be here.
23:19Well, someone's putting bajillions of dollars in front of you.
23:23So, you sign the paper and you figure it'll work out.
23:25But at least he shows up and, like, you know, sits on the bench and, you know, plays mostly when he wants to be playing.
23:31Yeah, I'm not comparing the two people.
23:32And I'm looking at the story from last September, not, like, four months ago, but the year before, when, you know, Kyle had to go out on a press conference and talk about why Brandon was wearing the wrong shorts.
23:41Like, we're going to talk about, like, why you're wearing the wrong shorts and all the rest of it.
23:46Like, the immaturity and, I guess, like, the lack of a real passion for the money that he was paid.
23:53I don't know what's going on with Brandon, and I will never try and get inside his head.
23:57But it was a bad play by the organization.
24:00And, yeah, he messed up, too.
24:01But, ultimately, when you're in that spot, you sign people, you don't sign players.
24:06And that's why I look at Juwan.
24:09And, yeah, you got that worked out with Juwan.
24:11And I hope they keep him because, as a player, as a person, he's that dude.
24:16But I need to stretch defenses like Seattle.
24:18I didn't score a touchdown in eight quarters against him.
24:21And I know I brought up Justin Jefferson.
24:23But I feel like Ayuk would enhance those chances.
24:26Pearsall, when he's healthy.
24:28But, I mean, that was going to be the fix, the remedy, the Brock Purdy to the Trey Lance.
24:32We got Pearsall.
24:33And, unfortunately, you couldn't count on his health.
24:36And I believe that played a lot into Seattle looking at the Niners' offense like, yeah, McCaffrey's a dog.
24:42But y'all ain't got enough to scare us.
24:43The Rams are going to scare that Vonett defense, you know?
24:46Maybe.
24:47Maybe.
24:47I mean, we'll see.
24:48They might not.
24:49They might not.
24:49They played twice this year.
24:51They didn't score a bunch of points in the other one.
24:52That might have just been a weird game a few Thursday nights ago.
24:5534 on one of them.
24:56Yeah.
24:56And Thursday night, it's always weird.
24:58Yeah, Thursday is weird.
24:59It was on the road.
24:59Like, Ricky got hurt.
25:01Ricky got hurt.
25:02I don't like the whole Niner fan base now.
25:05We can't count on Ricky.
25:06But we're going to sit here and be like, but if Brandon had played.
25:09No, no, no.
25:09You can't count on Brandon.
25:11Ricky got hurt.
25:13We'll see what happens next year.
25:15I love how Kyle kind of came to his defense yesterday.
25:18Don't make this about his offseason program or he's doing the wrong things.
25:21He got hurt.
25:22He did say that.
25:23Yeah.
25:23He got hurt like a lot of people with the 49ers did this year.
25:26Tried to battle through it.
25:28Sometimes it worked.
25:29Sometimes it didn't.
25:30I still think that guy's a really, really good player.
25:32Do they need more at that position?
25:33More speed?
25:34No doubt.
25:35But it is not, for me, it's not number one or number two on how to fix the Niners is
25:42to get receivers.
25:44Like, there's a lot of receivers that can work with the 49ers if both sides of the
25:49ball are blocking.
25:51Right on.
25:51All right.
25:52Who are you listening?
25:52Who you got?
25:53Well, they got Warriors live.
25:54Oh, yeah.
25:55We got the day.
25:55Hello.
25:56I was late today.
25:57Evan and Goo are joining us.
26:00Oh, there we go.
26:00Two ten.
26:01Other than that.
26:03It's good booking.
26:03Yep.
26:04Yep.
26:04330 Warriors live.
26:05430 Warriors.
26:06Mavericks all ahead.
26:07Willard and Dibbs on 95.7 The Game.
