00:00Clint Tyler, would you say it's fair, and I know this well, because I get in this spot,
00:07Tyler most recently got into it, of the three of us.
00:11What are you talking about?
00:12Tyler the hero or Tyler hero?
00:14Tyler the hero.
00:15Okay.
00:18Most recently, Tyler backs against the wall.
00:24He felt he was getting attacked and start fighting out and just took out Clint
00:30and then put himself on the turd list for the first time.
00:34No, no, no.
00:34I'm not talking about the time he put you on there.
00:36You deserved it.
00:37I'm talking about the time, the first and only time he's ever had to put himself on that turd list.
00:41Oh, yeah.
00:42When he went out and he just felt attacked and the claws came out.
00:48What did you do?
00:49I threw him under the bus on something to do with what he was doing with his mic.
00:53Yeah, yeah.
00:54Like he was turning on.
00:54Oh, yeah.
00:55Yeah, I'd have been fine, but then there was, Clint was doing that with his mic on.
00:59He was forgetting to turn my mic on.
01:01Old King ding-a-ling in there.
01:03He said, hey.
01:04Forget to turn his mic on for about the fifth time today.
01:07He was cornered.
01:08He was cornered.
01:10And he came out lashing.
01:13He came out fighting.
01:16And he did, he regretted it.
01:17He apologized pretty immediately and regretted it.
01:20And, but I, is it fair for me to say when we heard from Nick Casario yesterday, he felt
01:25cornered.
01:26Yeah.
01:27And he would, and he felt.
01:29These guys don't like, these guys don't like tough questions at all.
01:33Especially when they're two and five.
01:36So you think I like you.
01:37And when I, not just felt cornered.
01:407, 1, 3, 5, 7, 2, 4, 6, 10, YouTube and Twitch.
01:44Do you think he's feeling the pressure?
01:48Do you think he's feeling something?
01:49I think both of them are.
01:50But yes, to answer your question specifically about Casario.
01:53Yes.
01:53I think he is very aware of the offensive line that he's rebuilt that ain't worth a damn.
01:59I think he's very aware that they're two and five and can't run the football.
02:05Yeah.
02:05I think he's, I think he's feeling it.
02:06I don't know.
02:07I don't know if, is he feeling what?
02:09But I mean, pressure, yeah, like the fact that his decisions aren't working out, absolutely.
02:14I don't know if there's any pressure from the upper room.
02:17I don't know if he's going to lose his job.
02:19I do think we're getting close to some, there's got to be some significant change made if this
02:27thing continues to go the way it's going.
02:31Somewhere.
02:32It may be the quarterback.
02:34It may be the manager.
02:36I don't know.
02:37But it feels like somehow, some way Cal and Hannah have, have, have found themselves in
02:41a situation where they got to make some decisions, whether you're just talking about writing a
02:45$60 million a year check to a quarterback, or you're talking about keeping it, paying
02:49that kind of money to a quarterback that the general manager just doesn't believe that
02:53you need, you need that kind of money invested in a quarterback and, um, or who knows, maybe
02:58now he does.
02:59Apparently he's been in his corner the whole time.
03:00Um, a defensive mind, a defensive minded head coach.
03:04You know, there's a lot of decisions that are going to have to be made that I don't
03:07know how you avoid ownership.
03:09His defense is failing him by the way.
03:11Yeah.
03:11Yes.
03:12Yes.
03:13I mean, I, I, I just don't know how Cal and Hannah can't be dead in the middle of several
03:16of these decisions that are going to be made.
03:18Unfortunately.
03:18Yeah, no, I, I'm with you.
03:20I, I think he, guy, Gene Casario felt the pressure when he threw away a second rounder
03:26from Marvin Harrison Jr.
03:27Well, I mean, he is like, I'll be honest.
03:31I, like, I think we like, I think most people liked the move when it happened.
03:36You're fine with the move.
03:37When you say it out loud, one in four, that move for what that player has done.
03:43John, there is an argument to be made that that was a desperation move.
03:51There, there's an, I mean, there's an argument.
03:53I know the way that it is spun, but you know, one in four trading a second round pick, you
03:59know, there, there, there's a way of like, well, that, that, that felt desperate.
04:03That felt desperate because it, because of the player who it is that felt desperate to
04:07try to, as you, as John was saying, you guys were talking about re-recruit your top
04:12asset that may be upset.
04:14So you go and get somebody that he's really close with and has had success with and knows,
04:19I would assume that CJ was probably in favor of the, the Marvin Harrison Jr.
04:24Oh yeah, he said he was.
04:24They said he was the one who was greatly impactful in it.
04:28The part that I don't believe CJ's a fan of is Marvin Harrison playing 12 snaps on game
04:32day.
04:33That's, that, that's the part that like, if you're Cal and Hannah, like I don't even care
04:37to get off in who made the decision and why.
04:39My organization cannot trade a second round draft pick for a player that you're going
04:45to bring in.
04:46Tell us how sharp he is, how smart he is.
04:48He's going to play 12 plays in the first game.
04:50Tell us you're gonna get any more involved in the next game.
04:52He's got 13 plays.
04:53Like you can't, you can't trade a second round.
04:56And then, and then when you're asked about it, it's like, oh, that's just our offense.
05:00We kind of move, you know, move guys around and rotate guys through.
05:02And like, you can't, that, that's, that just, that's bad business.
05:06That's just bad business.
05:07So it's not, to me, it's not whether, and I know I'm getting off in the weeds here on
05:11Marvin Harrison, but it's not, it's not whether Marv was worth the second round draft pick or
05:16not.
05:16Um, it's, it's, do you see you as an organization getting value out of trading a second round
05:24pick for a receiver, given how you view your receiver room and how you use receivers in
05:30a game?
05:31I mean, right now, I mean, you just traded a second round draft pick for a guy that's
05:35less valuable than Xavier Hutchinson.
05:38That's how you're showing it.
05:39Yeah.
05:39Yeah.
05:39I mean, so.
05:40And it was, and it was, but this was a chance too, that you're taking, this wasn't a guarantee.
05:46This was a chance that you're taking someone texting and said, what, how much, how many
05:51more years are left on Nick's contracts contract?
05:54His contract is up at the end of the season.
05:56Nick's is.
05:57Yeah.
05:58At the, at the end of this season, his six year contract comes to an end.
06:03So I, I definitely think he was, I don't think he had a great day yesterday in that
06:08press conference.
06:09Me personally.
06:10I think that there was some, I, I, I didn't, I didn't think it was strong the way he handled
06:15the CJ part of it.
06:17As you just alluded to saying, he was in that man's corner the whole time.
06:21Um, and I thought this one was telling to me.
06:25And when you talk about those guys needing to make some decisions, when, when I asked
06:31about it, and you just said at the offensive line that he put together, that is not, I
06:36believe you said not worth a damn.
06:38Is that what you said?
06:38That line, that offense over there, we understand the offensive, the offensive line coach seems
06:44like it's written by you, the coordinator by you, most of the coaching staff and a lot
06:49of that offensive line that has been the pre premier problem for this team since they've
06:55been on this run.
06:57Clint, this was a bad look to me when he was asked directly about the offensive line and
07:04the issues they have and why it's been an issue.
07:08This answer to me, I think goes along with, I think, uh, I think a rough day for him when
07:15he spoke to the media.
07:16I mean, I don't, I don't really have a good answer.
07:19I mean, you know, try to put the guys out there that we feel are, you know, the best
07:26and give them the opportunity.
07:29Sometimes it's a matchup situation.
07:31Like their guy's better than our guy.
07:32Okay, okay, is it, all right, can we do something a little bit different?
07:36So, um, again, we've done a decent job in pass protection this season.
07:40The run blocking has been a little bit more about finishing more than anything else, you
07:44know?
07:44So, um, if there's a change to be made, we'll make it.
07:47If there's not, then we'll see if we can make an adjustment, you know, somewhere else.
07:51Listen, I'm not even mad at him.
07:55Tyler, but you knew an offensive line question, you knew offensive line questions were coming.
07:59You knew that was coming.
08:01I mean, by this point, it's been a problem every year.
08:04He definitely should know.
08:07And that, like, your thought, your, like, what you have to kick it off.
08:11I mean, he eventually got to something, but to kick it off is you don't really have an
08:15answer for that?
08:16I don't really have a good answer.
08:19What?
08:21Like that, like, like I said, man, I, I, I, I'm not even, I'll be honest with you.
08:27That was probably the most candid and honest you could really feel from him when he speaks
08:32a lot of the times.
08:33And I'm not, this ain't a knock towards Nick.
08:35I think a lot of people in his position do in sports, you know, give you, don't really
08:41give you much and just say a lot of things, but not really giving you much on purpose.
08:46My man, that, that seemed like an honest thought.
08:49Like in that moment, man, I ain't got, I ain't, I ain't got, man, tell him I ain't got
08:53it.
08:55But, but, but even though I think that's very honest, like I, as you said, there gotta
08:59be some decisions made, man, you can't not have any answers.
09:03Like it, it, the way he sounded like, man, I'm fresh out on the offensive line thing,
09:06man.
09:07I don't know where to go either.
09:08And that, like that, that can't be because that's, that's directly connected to the quarterback.
09:13It's convenient.
09:13You struck out on multiple guys on the offensive line.
09:18It's, it's a tough question to answer when, when Wyatt Teller's not on the field, Braden
09:23Smith, although he was injured, was playing bad.
09:25When, when you look up and, and your first round draft pick is not a, a, has not played
09:31great.
09:31In fact, it had really, I mean, picked some poor times to, to make major mistakes up front.
09:38Um, I mean, so yeah, I mean, it's, it's, it's a tough question to get as a general manager,
09:43but, but you gotta, you paid a lot of money to get up and answer them questions.
09:47Yeah, not right now, man.
09:48I hope he, I hope he secretly has an answer.
