00:00If you think there's some second baseman out there
00:02that's going to just move you, I don't know.
00:04I've looked at the list.
00:04Maybe somebody moved you, Worry.
00:06But you're talking about Louisa Rice.
00:09You're talking about Jazz Chisholm Jr.
00:12If you want to go poach another Yankee Mets fans.
00:15I add another former Yankee, Gleyber Torres, to that mix.
00:18One man that you did not mention that's in the Frasian class
00:21that honestly is, in my opinion, the best option
00:24for the New York Mets to arguably consider
00:25is entering his age 32 season.
00:28After a great year in Pittsburgh,
00:29it's Brandon Lowe, okay?
00:3135 home runs, 94 runs scored, 96 RBIs,
00:35260 average, 331 on base, roughly 500 slug,
00:3821% above league average as a hitter,
00:40and the most valuable season in his career,
00:43fitting in a walk year,
00:44an unbelievably defensively and offensively sound season
00:47to a roughly 5-4 for Brandon Lowe.
00:50And mind you, that's in a Pirates lineup
00:52that didn't have too much protection around him
00:55with the exception of O'Neal Cruz and Raul O'Hearn.
00:57Brandon, who raked against the Mets,
00:59had two bombs against Freddie Peralta on opening day,
01:01I was witnessing, and he just continued to kill the Mets
01:04throughout the course of the year.
01:05And as a longtime Tampa Bay Ray,
01:07he has the playoff experience,
01:09understands that winning culture everywhere that he's been,
01:12held the Pirates to above 500 record this year.
01:15He was a massive factor behind that,
01:17if not the top factor, with Brian Reynolds in there.
01:20So that's a guy I look at,
01:21where depending as to what his price is going to be,
01:24absolutely, if you're the New York Mets,
01:26if you could try to sway this guy on short-term high AV
01:29on a couple years,
01:30kind of like what you did with Boba Shett,
01:32that's how you help supplement the power that you lost.
