01:01um it will be one thing if this wasn't a winnable game and the minnesota vikings aren't better than
01:09the miami dolphins i think the dolphins are the ones that keep getting in their own way
01:15um so you have a couple plays right first of all special teams you can't start that way would you
01:23agree that that was just terrible and you got a guy that's the best return guy in the league through
01:27the first month of the season and once he do he breaks two long runs that put your defense on

01:33short field defense just uh did a great job of holding everything till the end of the game there
01:38where i guess minnesota could have scored but ends up with the five field goals in the game but
01:43but you're right about the penalties but boy i'll tell you what there's some things that just
01:48happened that that's got to get cleaned up and i don't buy and maybe you do that this is part

01:55the problem we're just a thin team in general i think you can get special teams guys yeah and i
02:01think they've been getting special teams guides each week um that we were on two weeks of practice
02:06squad coaching yeah um i i love it i think it helps i agree agree yeah um you know we
02:12just elevated
02:13uh a young rodney mcgraw who a young defensive end who i think had a respectable game um steps in

02:21right direction rewarded him for how he practiced that week that's obviously a positive now the
02:28question is how do you tighten up that unit and and maybe it's continuity but you know there's no
02:35excuses for having one is when your talent starved and your whole roster is full of guys that are
02:41on week-to-week contracts there is no excuse for having lackluster special teams play yeah no no i'm
02:49with you on that one i because there was a debate we were having last night and sitting on the
02:54bus and
02:54and they're going well because i always just remember the days of you have three or four or five guys

03:00special teams guys and whatever you get out offense or defense you know it's not going to be as good

03:06you know how good they are on on special teams and and i just we haven't seen and we haven't

03:12enough of that but but uh i do want to say this uh ollie gordon man how about how about

03:18that guy is running like all right you're starting running back man ollie gordon uh well he ran hard
03:23he ran hard on two yard runs three yard runs and then breaks the big one and breaks a tackle

03:29it a 53 yard run uh definitely i think he's probably one of the top standouts in the game
03:36um we can have some confidence that the running game will be reliable if not consistent um hopefully
03:44you know the offensive line they can run block uh the question is can you have a do you have

03:49that can find the necessary holes and ollie showed that he's you know ready to handle that with that
03:54workload now that devon is done but that's kind of what you got to expect from a player who you

04:01won the doke walker award i mean that goes to the top back in the nation um so the pedigree

04:09um seeing jalen wright's frustration last night obviously you know this this is a pressure-packed
04:15situation for for these guys one of them is going to take the devon hann role and establish his career
04:22and the other is you know gonna become or continue his role his role as a backup um so it
04:31was probably
04:31hard for jalen after the game but that the key in the nfl and i'm sure you could talk to

04:38how how do you respond when adversity arrives how are you going to perform when you know people are
04:45people are doubting you and counting you out and and now daylor wright's going to have to have
04:49a good response yeah i'm really it's funny you said that coming back of course he missed a game
04:55but but i i'm with you i want to see him as a return guy still running hard and also

09:44up two sacks and yes malik bailed you out a lot of plays well but you can't just say yes
