00:12I've noticed because I was a big Tua stan, and I was a big stan going into the season for Chris Greer remaining and Mike McDaniel remaining and Tua remaining.
00:23I call them the big three.
00:24I have people coming up to me.
00:26We were at Raising Cane's doing an appearance on social media.
00:30And they're blaming me.
00:31They're like, this is because you in the media have coddled.
00:36And I'm like, I thought they were going to be good.
00:38Like, but I don't make those decisions.
00:39It's not my fault.
00:40I said, it's as much my fault that the Dolphins are bad as it is my fault that the Panthers have won two Stanley Cups in a row.
00:48Like, I'm just telling you what I think.
00:50I'm wrong sometimes.
00:51I'm right sometimes.
00:52Do people get angry at you?
00:55People are angry at me every day.
00:57Imagine, but that's another topic.
01:01Imagine being behind the Tank for Tua campaign for an entire year back in 2019.
01:10And I'm not pulling the plug on Tua because I still believe he's a solid NFL quarterback.
01:18I know what his limitations are.
01:20I know he doesn't have that dog in him.
01:22I know he's not a killer.
01:25He's one of the more accurate quarterbacks in the NFL.
01:29But the reality is when you don't put a solid, decent, respectable team around him, he's going to be exposed.
01:37And that offensive line exposes him.
01:39Right now, the weaponry exposes him.
01:43You know, the defense.
01:45It's just not a good team around him in general.
01:48But he's also part of the problem.
01:50You cannot have multiple games where you commit three turnovers.
01:54You know, it's funny you brought up his ability because I'm watching football last night.
02:00They run no speed outs.
02:02When the guy runs up, he gets the corner just to turn his hip a little bit.
02:05And then they shoot to the sideline.
02:06You get a quick seven yards.
02:08Yeah.
02:08They never throw those.
02:09They don't throw those.
02:11And then his offense is now stymied.
02:14Is McDaniel not caught?
02:16Like his offense been figured out?
02:17Or is he adjusting to Tua's?
02:19Like you say, Tua does have limitations.
02:21He can't throw the ball that damn far.
02:23Is he calling plays that Tua's capable of completing?
02:27Or is Tua just not that good where he can't open up the play?
02:31Because his offense looks terrible.
02:33It does look terrible.
02:35Teams are in the paint.
02:37Tua cannot throw a 15-yard out.
02:40I don't know if he can throw a 10-yard out.
02:42It doesn't matter.
02:43Everybody's playing them.
02:44You know, what Tua throws is a beautiful slam.
02:46Beautifully timed slam.
02:48But everybody's in his lanes now at this point.
02:50And then you look at some of the interception plays or some of the bad, horrendous plays.
02:59And you'll see the ball is snapped.
03:00And there's a defensive lineman in his face.
03:02On the interception by the goal line.
03:07I mean, goodness gracious.
03:09Like, I don't even know if he had a second to think or react to the guy coming in trying to get a safety.
03:17He just had to throw the ball to spots.
03:19And Tua acknowledges that he throws the ball to spots.
03:22He is a spot thrower.
03:23But, you know, if a defender's standing in that spot, you're in trouble.
03:30Abort.

03:32Well, on that play, abort is a safety.
03:35You know, abort is a safety.
03:36A throwaway in the pocket was a safety.
03:42I don't know.
03:43To that point now, back to McDaniels.
03:45Because what they do, I said it after the game, watching that game on Sunday, Monday when we were on the show.
03:51The line physically can't block people.
03:52We just see Saban Yaya get thrown out the way.
03:54He got ran over.
03:55What did you say?
03:56Like a three-year-old.
03:57That one I saw on social media was bad.
04:01But on that point, you're talking about Omar.
04:02It's bad everyone.
04:03They couldn't figure out who was blitzing and who wasn't.
04:06And then when it was declared, they didn't know how to pass off the blitz.
04:10So they don't know who to block.
04:11And if they do know who to block, they can't block them.
04:14But not knowing who to block is on the coaching staff.
04:16Y'all didn't see that damn blitz?
04:18There's no blitz in football that's never been ran before.
04:21Well, here's the thing.
04:25And not only is that, that's been an issue all season.
04:28So we had three snaps with James Daniel and Austin Jackson for one game.
04:33And since then, it's been pretty much downhill.
04:36Mike McDaniel says that he's threatening.
04:39Finally, four years he's threatening change.
04:41He's going to make some changes based on performance.
04:44Okay.
04:44You haven't demoted a guy.
04:46Well, you've demoted a couple guys.
04:48But come on, let's be real about it.
04:50That's just not, you know, nobody gets cut around here, Chakrada.
04:53You remember those, I think it was like 2019 where people, where Eric Walden was on the team.
05:01And if you made a mistake that week, you was fired.
05:05If you made a mistake, you were fired.
05:09And that was, people walked on eggshells around that building on the parcels in 2019 because that was the culture.
05:18Nobody get fired around here.
05:19Nobody gets fired around here.
05:21Along that line of thought, you know what else I've noticed?
05:23It used to be like every week under different administrations, people would be in for tryouts.
05:29Yeah.
05:29And it was, that was like, just, that was kind of a warning sign to whatever position they were bringing in for tryouts.
05:36You'd go, oh, so-and-so is in, you know, auditioning for safety or whatever.
05:41You don't see that at all with McDaniel.
05:44No, they, the practice squad people that's been here day one, they, they finished the season on the practice squad.
05:50It's, it's, there are a few exceptions to that.
05:53I remember there was a center who was here.
05:55I can't remember the guy's name center was on the practice squad, both the starting centers got hurt.
06:00And they were like, we can't play this guy.
06:02We got to go sign two guys off the street.
06:05And I'm like, what is the guy who's been on the practice squad here for?
06:09Like, and they had to cut the guy.
06:11I'm like, this is just unreal roster mismanagement.
06:16I mean, if you, if you had to, had to, this, this, this, I can't even give you a bigger example of roster mismanagement in the NFL than,
06:24than what's happened here the last couple of years.
06:28Going back to two of the Omar, cause I think we're on agreement.
06:31Ancillary factors are contributing to him not performing well, but at the same time, I am looking at a guy.
06:38You, you mentioned it limited physically right now.
06:41Can't make it basically always, but, but I'm saying he more so now to a point where he can't make the throws that were his bread and butter throws.
06:51And mentally, I, I think this past week was a big eye opener to a lot of us.
06:58I feel like that contributed to how he played just the, the, the, the circus of, of people coming after him for his comments.
07:05And look, the reality is there's no saving grace.
07:08There's no savior coming here.
07:10The offensive line isn't finding, you know, a Tron Armstead and Cheetah's not coming back to save him either.
07:16Is Tua mentally, in your opinion, is he mentally capable of overcoming these types of games, these types of performances?
07:26Absolutely.
07:27Uh, the, his first two games without Tyreek were both hundred rated games.
07:32Um, you got Waddle going, you had a run game.
07:36The thing about Tua is he's a play action quarterback.
07:39You don't have the run threat of the run game.
07:41You're in trouble.
07:42So when teams build up big leads and it becomes a, to a pass, pass, pass, pass, pass situation, they're just going to crowd the paint and give to all the outside and cover deep to prevent the deep pass and just wait for him to make a mistake.
07:58And I was surprised.
08:00And maybe the elements played a factor in it.
08:02I mean, how many screens they threw like, goodness gracious.
08:05Like, is that the only thing these receivers know how to run?
08:08But let's keep in mind also, he lost Darren Waller in that game.
08:12He lost Malik Washington in that, in that game.
08:15Those were two of the five weapons that they have on that team.
08:21Uh, you know, Nick Westbrook-Akine has caught all of one pass in three weeks playing substantial minutes.
08:28He's, he's giving you absolutely nothing.
08:30That's another bad decision by management, uh, the sign of him as a free agent.
08:35Uh, you just lost Malik Washington.
08:37So who do you go to now?
08:39Cedric Wilson?
08:40Like, you know, Cedric Wilson was Cedric Wilson three years ago and you had to bring him back.
08:46Cause he now, cause he doesn't know, cause he knows the offense.
08:49And he's not even ready to play cause he just had surgery.
08:51Gotta bring, bring your guy, uh, easy E back.
08:54Uh, yeah, D Estridge, I, I, that would be the one main criticism that I've had.
08:59Yes.
08:59He fumbled the ball and yes, he had a bad penalty, but D Estridge was one of your top receivers in
09:04training camp.
09:05He showed you that he could play.
09:07He showed you, you got a little bit of dog mentality to him.
09:09Why have you not invested in him as a, as a, as a playmaker caught the 50 yard pass that,
09:14but I don't want to sit here and second guess all of these decisions, but when you are losing
09:19in the fashion that you're losing, playing the way you're playing, you can second guess everything.
09:26And Oh, if you, if you talk to anybody on the offense, tell them when you fake the ball to a guy
09:30and then throw him a screen, it doesn't work.
09:33Cause now your attention is, you're staring.
09:34I'm a, I'm a, I'm an ex linebacker, bro.
09:36Like fake it to him and screen it to him.
09:38I'm staring at him now.
09:39I thought he had the ball.
09:43That's like, it didn't kick me at all.
09:45So if you have anybody in the building, tell them, just throw that play out the playbook.
09:49How did you take the situation that two was playing terrible?
09:52We knew multiple interceptions and they skip Zach Wilson and then go to you.
09:58What, like what, what happened there?
10:00Smartest move.
10:01The organizations made all season.
10:03Um, there is no reason to invest in Zach Wilson.
10:07He's not going to be here.
10:08You invested 6 million in him.
10:10It actually makes it the dumbest move that the organization made because they said,
10:14here's the guy we've chosen.
10:16Zach Wilson, we're going to give him $6 million.
10:19And seven weeks later, they go, and we haven't even seen him in a game.
10:25We've seen him in practice.
10:26I mean, he was Zach Wilson.
10:29When you signed him, he was Zach Wilson.
10:31Like Quinn Ewers, that's the thing.
10:33Quinn Ewers and Zach Wilson, they were like this in training camp.
10:36And I would honestly tell you that Quinn Ewers was better.
10:38When you, when you gave Zach Wilson the number two job, it was really because of money and
10:44politics.
10:44Crowder, you know what that's like in a locker room.
10:47It just sends the wrong message.
10:49You got so many things that sends the wrong message to this team.
10:52I mean, the players are looking at Jonah Savanaya.
10:54They're like looking at him with the side eye all week.
10:56And you still running them out there to play them.
10:59They, they know what, you know, teams are game plan.
11:02The one thing about Kenneth Grant is Kenneth Grant, they limited what he was doing and
11:07he started to play better, starting to build a little bit of confidence.
11:11You could do that on defense.
11:12A bad offensive lineman that you put out there for 55 snaps, they coming at him every single
11:18snap and they're not going to let up.
11:21And it, it, it, and it's just killed this guy's confidence at this point, either put him
11:26at right guard and try that out, or you got to bench him.
11:29Man, what a disaster.
11:33Cause as I said to Solana and Crowder, like as some people thought this was going to be
11:38a bad C, I happened to think it was going to be a good season.
11:41Some people thought it was going to be a bad season.
11:43There's no one who thought it was going to be this.
11:46No one.
11:47And I don't know how, how could Mike McDaniel get everyone back on the same page?
11:54My point to Crowder and Solana yesterday was he told you after the charges,
11:59game.
12:00When I say he told you the players, Hey, put it out of your head.
12:04We get to Cleveland.
12:05We're going to do our thing.
12:06And they listened to him and nothing changed.
12:08It actually got worse.
12:09Yeah.
12:09Why would they listen to him now?
12:11Why would, why wouldn't they just tune him out?
12:14I couldn't sense it.
12:16I can usually sense when a team has quit on a coach.
12:19I couldn't sense it after that game, but I'll, I'll let you know this week.
12:23You'll, you'll, you'll know, you'll know based on how they play against Atlanta, whether
12:26they quit.
12:26But didn't we find out Sunday in Cleveland?
12:30They really, bro.
12:31I don't.

12:32That was, that was just, that was just error after error after error.
12:36And, and the pressure.
12:38The one thing that we know about the team is consistently, they buckle the pressure.
12:42They, they just absolutely buckle the pressure.
12:45And once they're starting to feel a little pressure, oh, forget about it.
12:50And so when Cleveland started to press them and then started to get the lead and then started
12:55to gain confidence, oh, it was over.
12:57Then, you know, when Tua starts throwing interceptions, you, you know, the floodgates
13:02going to open up and it's just going to continue to come, unfortunately, but that's, that's how
13:08you are as a team.
13:09You cannot put this team in a situation where they have to exclusively pass.
13:14You can't, and you cannot put this, the, uh, the defense in a situation where a team
13:20like Cleveland didn't try to do nothing, but two tight end sets.
13:23Like they were just like, we just going to keep running at you.
13:27Charlotte did it too.
13:28We just going to keep running at you.
13:29You can't stop it.
13:31We're eventually going to pop it.
13:32We're going to keep doing it.
13:34I mean, nobody, Crowder, how good is a team that is bad on the trenches in both sides
13:40of the ball?
13:41Terrible.
13:42You can't win anything.
13:43Think about this.
13:46Five people of 11, five of your 11 can't win their battles.
13:51What are you going to do offensively or defensively if your whole box is terrible?
13:56It's, it's sad.
13:57It's, it's disappointing, but you went into this off season and you said, we're going
14:02to do this and through the draft and all your draft picks struggling.
14:06You're free agents struggling.
14:10Like, I don't think it's any clear what the problem is.
