01:30This is the Davanagare district of Karnataka.
01:32SS Malikarjan is a district in charge minister as well as a horticulture minister from that particular district.
01:38His father is an influential lingayat leader and he was a former minister.
01:43And Malikarjan's wife is a Lok Sabha MP.
01:45And his son is an MLA from one of the constituencies in Davanagare.
01:50So, the entire district has been dominated by SS Malikarjan and his family.
01:55And Basantafa is a first time Dalit MLA and minister was being a minister.
02:01And in a public forum, he says that a lot of people try to influence him and mislead him by
02:06giving fake information about him,
02:09which will lead to misunderstanding between both the ministers.
02:12So, he says that on the stage that he is even ready to fall in his seat and request him,
02:18pleading him with a hold at hand,
02:21stating that there should be a lot of cooperation and he should help him in the district.
02:26And he has also said that nothing happens without SS Malikarjan's influence in the district.
