00:05A top story coming in from the southern state of Karnataka, just a day to go for DK Shivkumar's
00:10oath ceremony. But here's what's happening. Key huddles meanwhile, taking place in the
00:14national capital Delhi. Hectic parlays in the national capital. It's a big scoop from
00:20Sidramaya camp where DK Shivkumar and Sidramaya are meeting with a high command. The meeting
00:25started at about 1pm, went on for two hours. Meeting was attended by Rahul Gandhi, Malikar
00:31Jin Khad, Sidramaya, DK Shivkumar Kesi, Venugopal and more. Randeep Singh Surjewala was also
00:37present there. The leaders are likely to meet again at 6pm for another round of meeting that
00:43is set to happen. Remember that some names are officially likely to be declared as well
00:49and therefore I go across to my colleague Rahul Gautam, bringing him in here at the 4pm
00:54bulletin. Rahul, interesting meeting but one wonders if everything has been officially
00:59announced and declared, why these huddles are taking place?
01:08Well, it is because of the fact that there are many things that are on the table yet to
01:12be finalized by the high command. We all know that a list of cabinet ministers' names needs
01:19to be finalized by the high command. We're going to take oath along with chief minister tomorrow.
01:23We've been informed that around 10 to 12 ministers are likely to take oath along with DK Shivkumar.
01:29Then of course, the post of KPCC president is also essentially lying vacant given the fact
01:37that the incumbent KPCC chief has elevated as chief minister. Therefore, party would have
01:43to now look for another leader who is going to manage the affairs of Karnataka Congress. And then
01:52party would also need to finalize the Rajya Sabha and MLC candidates. Now, there are multiple things
01:58that party needs to finalize before the names are officially announced, before the list are officially
02:04out. And therefore, all the senior leaders of Karnataka, of AICC, are again going to meet
02:09at 6 p.m. at Malikarjun Khargez residence. That includes Sidra Ramaiya, DK Shivkumar, KC Venupopal. And
02:19expect that after this meeting will be over, the second round of discussion will be over, we would be
02:25having a clarity about the names, about the leaders who are going to take oath along with DK Shivkumar.
02:30We all know that both camps, Sidra Ramaiya and DK Shivkumar, they are very strongly pushing for their
02:36loyalists, for their supporters to get inducted into the Karnataka cabinet. Now, that's what makes it
02:43extremely challenging for high command to accommodate names from both the sides. And that's why, possibly,
02:51this second round of meeting is going to take place. We've been informed from our sources that Rahul Gandhi,
02:57Malikarjun Khargez, they heard the names or all the potential candidates of both the camps and they
03:06were told that they're going to discuss it among themselves and then going to officially release
03:11them. So, by the end of the day, possibly we would be having a clear-cut clarity as to who
03:17all are going
03:18to become the ministers tomorrow. Also, one thing is very important, there is going to be a phase cabinet
03:24expansion. Initially, 10 to 12 ministers are going to take oath along with DK Shivkumar and then a full-fledged
03:30cabinet expansion is going to take place, possibly after Rajya Sabai elections.
03:35And also, Rahul, then what Siddharth Amaya will want to bring on the table. I'm sure he also has
