Transcript
00:00Okay, so Moshmi getting us that big, big news break that sources have in fact confirmed the high command has
00:07said it's the turn of D.K. Shukumar as chief minister that Sidramaya has been asked to step down after
00:13what's been non-stop meetings in Delhi.
00:16But looks like Sidramaya isn't happy. He's been asked to take up a Rajasabha position, larger role in Delhi. But
00:25at this point, reportedly Sidramaya is not okay with that.
00:29He's left from the Congress headquarters while D.K. Shukumar is still there in a meeting with KC Veen Gopal.
00:36Look, the Congress maintains none of this is true. Nothing has changed. Stop all the speculation. There was only a
00:42conversation about the MLC seats and the Rajasabha seats.
00:45The reality is, and I've always said this, the two bind together. If there's going to be a conversation about
00:50a CM change or a change of guard, automatically the conversation also comes in over who do you reserve a
00:55Rajasabha seat for.
00:56And so the two, in a sense, are connected, are linked. Having said that, here's the information we're picking up.
01:03That Sidramaya has been offered a different role. Staying away from Karnataka, move towards a national role for Congress and
01:09be a part of the Rajasabha.
01:11As a veteran leader, you can then be seated in the Rajasabha with the likes of Sonia Gandhi and Malik
01:17Arjun Kharge.
01:18Sidramaya is now left from the Congress headquarters. Not a word uttered by him, not a word uttered by D
01:23.K. Shukumar.
01:24The only communication is from KC Veen Gopal.
