00:07This is the revised version of it, which would provide 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
00:12It would only apply to businesses with 15 or more employees.
00:17Full-time employees would be eligible after six months.
00:20Part-time employees would be eligible after 78 full workdays.
00:24It would apply to parents through birth, adoption, or legal permanent placement of a child within the first 12 months
00:30of a child's life.
00:31If paid parental leave becomes law, it would take between 6 to 12 months for it to go into effect.
00:38And if the board does pass the proposal, it would go next to county council.
00:42A Pleasant Hills middle school teacher is facing a public drunkenness charge.

00:58The letter says emergency personnel were called and that some students may have witnessed the incident.
01:03It does not identify the staff member or explain what caused the illness.
01:08Court records identify Robert Thomas Hayzak as the person charged with public drunkenness in connection with an incident dated September

01:17The case was filed Friday and is active.
01:20Hayzak has not entered a plea.

01:25A man was stabbed in the chest early today in downtown Pittsburgh.
01:28Police called around 1245 a.m. to 6th Avenue at Coffee Way, found the man and applied a chest seal

01:36He was sent to a hospital in stable condition.
01:39Officers were told the man was involved in an altercation with another man prior to the stabbing.
01:44And a short time later, police took a suspect into custody.
01:48A man shot four times in Homewood North last night is expected to survive.
01:53That happened around 9 p.m. at the corner of Frankstown Avenue and Starrett Street.
