00:10continuing his momentum. This man is on an absolute roll right now. 250 seated qualifying
00:15fueled by Price Cutter. And here we go, AC. We need to write a book about Julian Beaumare's
00:21comeback from that injury. Six weeks on the bike before Pro Motocross. I talk about it a lot because
00:27it impresses me a lot. What he's been able to do here, the win last weekend, all the momentum
00:34and confidence on his side. I think at the start of the summer, if you would have told me Julian
00:40Beaumare has a chance, albeit a slim one, to win this SMX World Championship, I think I
00:45would have called you crazy. But he's turned himself into a very well-rounded rider. And
00:52it's cool to see these guys, these young guys, come into the sport and build. And you just
00:57starting to see his talent on full display. He's been feeling it today. And I have no
01:02doubt he's about to throw a good one down.
01:03Well, the biggest question mark coming into pro motocross here in 2026 during the regular
01:08season was who's going to fill the void? Who's going to fill the Hayden Deegan void? Who's
01:12going to step up? Levi Kitchen stepped up for a little bit. Cole Davies has stepped up.
01:16Ryder DeFrancisco. Julian Beaumare is now stepping up. I mean, there's a laundry list of names
01:21that we could mention there that could possibly step up and fill that void.
01:24And it's difficult coming back from an injury. And these riders are also aware of that. Hayden
01:32Deegan leaving the class, they're aware that it's up for grabs. And I think Julian showed
01:38a sense of urgency coming back. He didn't want to be left behind. He wants it to be his class.
01:45And
01:46just the way he went about it, it's really easy if you're in that situation and you're thinking
01:51mentally, now's the time to do it. I have no time to waste. It's easy to go out there and
01:56turn that
01:56into more mistakes and more crashes. And because just more effort and wanting it bad, that's not
02:03going to get you in the winner's circle. But he's methodically gone about it. The way he rides the
02:08bike now is night and day better and more efficient than it was in years past. And I think with
02:14only six
02:14weeks on the bike before pro motocross, I don't know how you do that. But he's done it and he's
02:20made it look pretty easy. Adam, it's probably not a great way to frame it as who needs this
02:25championship more. But I think we can all say that this would mean a lot to Levi Kitchen,
02:30to the whole Monster Energy Pro Circuit, Kawasaki team. Levi's been in contention for
02:35championship before. A lot of race wins. You mentioned it earlier in the show that he's going
02:41to be great at the next level of the sport. So this would mean a lot if Kitchen can seal
02:45the deal
02:45here today. Well, and I have a lot of experience kind of in this scenario. I think from a young
02:50age,
02:51from a young age, as soon as I turned pro, I had a lot of the tools, a lot of
02:55the speed I needed to
02:56be a champion. But each year that goes by and you don't get it done, that weighs heavy on your
03:03mind.
03:03You start to identify it. You start to question yourself, doubt yourself. And I think Levi,
03:09he's probably never going to feel more pressure than he will tonight because there has been so
03:14many close calls. But I'm telling you, if he's able to get it done and kind of change the way
03:21that he identifies himself as a rider, I think mentally that's what he needs to go to the next
03:26level. He already has the skills to do that. It's just going to be mentally, knowing he's a
03:31champion, knowing that he can close the deal. Caden Dudney, the youngster out of Iowa, grew up not
03:37far from here. I'm sure you're racing down in this area. Super high speed. Part of the track
03:42goes triple, single in. And look at this dirt right there. This is just awesome. The track is
03:47shaping up nice. Dudney, fifth overall right now, the 117.9 in this session. He's ninth overall.
03:56And Caden Dudney is like, NFL just season, just started. It's like a guy that's really mobile,
04:02like a mobile quarterback, quarterback that makes a lot of plays with his legs, but can't hit the deep
04:08ball down the field. That's Caden Dudney. He's got so much speed and so much talent, but it's still
04:16raw right now. You'll see him at the front one weekend, the next week in a bad start, a crash,

04:52just scrubbing the table, getting the back tire on the ground, but this section, to me, is going to
04:58be one of the deciding factors tonight. If you can find the flow through this part of the racetrack,
05:04it's going to go a long way for a good result. Big double across the start. Very high speed
05:09section. It doubles into that left-hand turn. Tons of speed triple single into the turn, and I love
05:14this section right here. And these two bowl corners back to back off that high speed section,
05:20and again, after this triple, this is where you're going to be wanting to make your passes. So you
05:25just want to be just out of the roost when you're going through the sand, and this is when you
05:30pounce.
05:30This is when you make your move. Let's see what this time is going to be for Ryder D. He's
05:35fourth
05:36right now in this session with a 115.9. He does. He bounces up in this session, but not on
05:43the overall.
05:44So what we're seeing on the screen, this is your overall. That's from first qualifying session.
05:47Julian Beaumere, 115.0. No one has been able to match that in this session. Cole Davies is fastest
05:54in this session with a 115.7. So he's got a lot of speed here. Levi Kitchen, third overall, 115

06:03pretty tight between Davies and Kitchen, but Kitchen's going for a fast one here. Yeah, and I
06:06really like the look of this lap. Just the way that he executed those bowl corners, the inside after
06:12the triple. And again, right there, zero hesitation from the 47. Let's see what this time is. In this
06:19session, he goes to third. He doesn't better his fastest time on track that he had earlier today,
06:25but it seems like the track for that man right there, Cole Davies, faster this session. So
06:29I love what the track crew has done here. Very similar. Sometimes we'll see it much faster in
06:34the second or much faster in the first. Track is very similar in speed from qualifier number one to
06:39qualifier number two. It is. I think maybe just a tad slower, but it's in that zone that if you
06:45were a
06:46little bit off in the first practice, you can still come out here and better your time. It just
06:50really depends on how well you executed your qualifying lap in the first practices. Cole Davies
06:57just showing us some style over under bridge there. He's like, that's not tough to time. I'll throw a whip
07:03off this. No problem. Guy's doing a photo shoot and trying to qualify fast. He absolutely is. 115.7 fastest
07:11in this session, but not enough to knock off Julian Beaumere on that Red Bull KTM. He's fastest by
07:17seven tenths of a second. Seven tenths of a second, folks, from earlier today. And Beaumere, he's not
07:24satisfied with that bottom right-hand side of your screen. He's going for a fast one here as well.
07:28And he goes to the top in this session, but still does it better his overall time. But wow, Beaumere,
07:35a lot of speed here today. I was going to say it's important, even if you go out there and
07:39you feel
07:40like your time from the first session is untouchable, the track is a little bit more like it will be
07:46in
07:46the race for the second qualifier. So you want to prove to yourself that you can do it on these
07:50conditions as well. That would feel good for Julian Beaumere to be fastest in Q1 and Q2. But
07:55unfortunately, Cole Davies, look at that time. He's closer, 115.1 fastest in this session,
08:03but still a tenth of a second off Julian Beaumere. Wow, Cole Davies, can he get up there and spoil
08:10this championship for everyone involved and get the victory here today, collect a smooth 50K
08:16to win the race and potentially that 500 grand to win this championship.
08:21And you see in the bottom right hand side of your screen, Dax Binnick, you got to watch right where
08:25Drew Adams is coming up right here. The dirt, the difference between the sand and you going on lean
08:33angle of that single, when you transfer over to that dirt, very easy to kind of tuck the front like
08:39you see Dax did. So you got to be really on it, not on too much of a lean angle
08:44when you exit the sand.
08:46This track is going to be fun to watch these guys race later on tonight because they don't
08:50really know where the passing spots are yet. They don't know where you're going to be able
08:53to set somebody up. And when we drop the gate later on today, seven o'clock Eastern time on
08:59Peacock, we're going to find out. Going to be a lot of fun to watch these guys go at it.

09:42practice. He's going for it. And I cannot stress enough how difficult this is. Your fastest, which
09:48Adam, you've been fastest so many times out here, but to keep going, to not be satisfied, to think,
09:53you know what? I can hit that left-hand turn or the right-hand turn or the sand. I can

09:57faster than what I've done. It says so much about just the speed and talent that this kid has.
10:03It does. And he just, his riding style, it's so much more repeatable than it was a couple of
10:10years ago. He's been able to go this fast, I think, for a few years now, but the way he's
10:15doing it,
10:16it takes less effort for him to do it. So he's able to do it more consistently without mistakes.
