00:30championship. He wins the million bucks, but there's four riders nipping at his heels. One of
00:35them is that guy out front right now. That's Hayden Deegan as we get things rolling. 450
00:39seated, qualifying fueled by price cutter Eli Tomac out there right now in his last race. He's
00:45actually going to be joining us at the desk right after this qualifying session. Excited to catch up
00:50with the legend himself. Oh, I can't wait for that. I'm kind of surprised that Eli said yes to that.
00:55It's all because of you. Teammates, buddies. I think it's the Justin Brayton effect. Come on.
01:02Hayden Deegan. It's a big Hayden Deegan effect out there. We got a lot of fans, I'm sure, in the

01:08here at Richdale. We'll say no matter where we go, no matter what part of the country that we're in,
01:14Hayden Deegan seems to have such a crowd reaction wherever he goes. They follow him
01:20around the track, and they've been doing that really since he turned professional, so
01:25I love how Hayden's always talking about putting on a show for the fans, keeps the fans involved, and
01:31as I said in the first practice, it's a one-man show sometimes. It's fun to watch the man ride.
01:37You
01:37can see his personality shine through in the way that he rides the motorcycle, and he's trying to
01:42put a fast one down early here. Clear track. Well, this is going to be a lot of fun to
01:45watch because
01:46oftentimes the first session of the day, the first qualifier, will be fastest. So you go out,
01:51you want to get your bike set up dialed for qualifier number two, but you're not really worried
01:54about overall times. Not here today. We watched it cold. Davey's very fast in qualifier number two,
02:00less than a tenth of a second off the lead. Jorge Prado has six tenths of a second over everybody
02:06after Q1, but the track is just as fast as it was earlier today, so guys are going to be
02:11throwing down.
02:13Hayden, it seemed like he had a pretty good lap going. Not sure why he shut it down, but
02:18Cooper Webb was latched in there behind him. I don't think he would have stopped the lap
02:22to keep Cooper from following him, but either way, Cooper clear track, trying to
02:28put another one in the top three like he did in the first qualifier. Talk about bringing some speed
02:32to the day. The two of Cooper Webb is bringing some speed. 31 career Supercross wins. That puts him
02:38eighth all-time, three-time Supercross champion, and he rises up. We talked about it a lot earlier.
02:46He loves that rivalry. You think about the rivalries he's had throughout his career,
02:51and any time thing gets a little bit salty, Webb always rises up.
02:56It's just, you just have this sense with Cooper, and even in Supercross this year, there's times
03:02where we stop talking about him. Then he goes out there and reminds us exactly who he is,
03:06goes to the top of the board there, 115.5. Again, this is not Cooper Webb's forte.

03:22Let's get into it. Kind of a smaller stadium floor typically is his deal,
03:26but with what happened last weekend, obviously he's in good form, and he's trying to prove that
03:30he can do it on these conditions as well. Talk about a guy that's great in any conditions.
03:35Throw anything at him. The 96 at Hunter Lawrence. That Honda HRC progressive ride. A lot of speed.
03:41We haven't talked a lot about him today. He's going to be sneaky here.
03:45And it's amazing. We really haven't talked about him a lot the last couple of weeks.
03:49Had that tough, tough round in the mud at playoff one, but was able to win that second moto last
03:54weekend. 4-1. Gets himself on the podium, and he's a little ways back, but you know, Hunter,
04:01anytime he's on the track now, I mean, he is the total package. He's got speed. He's got starts.
04:06He goes to the top of the board there. 1-15.4 for the 96.
04:10Goes straight to the top. That's qualifier number two times. That's not the overalls. We'll put up
04:16the overall about halfway through this qualifying session. So that's this session here. Smith in
04:21third. Tomek and Savace round out your top five. Guys trying to just get rolling, but how about Ken
04:25Roxen? Comes into Columbus, takes the summer off, goes and races off-road trucks, hang out with his
04:32wife, Courtney, and his two boys at home, and he didn't really know what to expect. Well,
04:37we shouldn't. We should always know what to expect from the 94 of Ken Roxen. He's unbelievable on track,
04:43and Haley, tell me more about the 94. He made sure to carve out some time for some solitude
04:49yesterday. I had a chance to just sit and chill with Ken before we went into the press conference
04:53yesterday afternoon, and we're looking out at the lake, and he said, this place is incredible. I hope
04:58to go down, find some time to hike, or maybe go for a run around the lake. We know that
05:02that solitude
05:03time, that peace, is something that's really important to Ken on race day and on race weekends.
05:09Yeah, thank you, Haley. I've spun a lot of laps with Ken. I know you have too, Justin, and I
05:14can't
05:15tell you how many times during the week he has a crash, or he's sick, or he's uncomfortable on the
05:21motorcycle, and it just looks like it's all going down the drain, and Ken goes out there and just
05:27dominates on the weekend. He's always been that guy, and anytime the 94 is on track, he's got a chance
05:33to win. It's as simple as that. Hayden Deegan on top in this session, 114.1. Fastest so far here
05:42today. Ken Rockson with a 114.5. That's this session. Remember, Prado had a 14.1 earlier today,
05:48but Deegan, he goes to the top overall. Looks like he's setting up a fast lap once again.
05:53He knows that things are going to get a little bit faster throughout the day, and how about this
05:57legend? So fun to watch Eli Tomac throughout his career. You and I raced Eli an awful lot.
06:03As Hayden's going for a fast one. Here he goes at 38, and that's a great feeling. It's a great
06:09feeling when you're fastest overall for the day, and you still feel, as you were talking about earlier,
06:15like you left some out there. It's going for another one. Goes a little bit long on that jump,
06:21and I think getting a better look at that table single, I see why these guys are having a tough
06:25time timing it. As Hayden backs it down, it's kind of an awkward amount of racetrack leading. They have
06:32so much speed leading up to that jump. If it was kind of right out of a corner, it would
06:36be a lot
06:37easier, but I see why they're having a tough time hitting the downside there.
06:40When you think about Hayden Deegan, his rookie year in this 450 Premier class coming into pro
06:46motocross and the evolution he had throughout the 11 rounds in the final two of four rounds of
06:52motocross season, he qualified fastest. So think about where his speed has come. He's learning how to
06:57ride the bike a little more efficient, so it's great to see Hayden Deegan with a ton of speed
07:02here today, and he's going to be a factor here tonight. There's no doubt about that.
07:05I think when we talk about Hayden kind of adapting to this bike as he's checking out some other lines,
07:12it's not, in a sense, it's not, he doesn't have to ride like Jet Lawrence or like Hunter Lawrence.
07:18Like, say the same thing about Eli Tomac, right? Eli's not very efficient. He's high in the RPMs,
07:23all over the clutch, and it works for Eli. So it's important for you not to try to, for Hayden,
07:29not to try to turn himself into somebody that he's not. He's always going to be him and have
07:35his own unique riding style, but I think it's just finding, finding the things he can do better with
07:40what fits in your game. And I think at the rate Hayden has been getting better this summer
07:47and in the playoffs. I think it's only a matter of time before he's up there battling for wins
07:53every single week, and I think we're going to be seeing a lot of that in 2027.
07:57Well, this is good to see right here, the 26 of Jorge Prado. He's on a fast lap right here,
08:01and we didn't quite know what to expect. He came up short on this jump earlier in Q1. He was
08:05moving
08:06his right arm around. We didn't know if he was injured or not, if he's going to come out and
08:09be sore,
08:09but all systems go for the 26. And since he's been on screen here, he has not put a wheel
08:15wrong.
08:18Very difficult to do, especially in the sand section, always changing. You just feel like
08:22the bike is moving underneath you constantly. But one thing Jorge does really well, specifically
08:28in the sand, is he stays at the low part of the berm. So he doesn't rob his momentum by
08:33burying it
08:34kind of in the top of the berms, in the top of the ruts. You see the roll speed and
08:39the momentum
08:39right there. I mean, this is a picture perfect lap so far for the 26. Haley, Jorge is having a
08:46great day here so far. Truly he is. You might not know it from watching him right now, but he
08:51told
08:52me before our fast time interview from Q1 that he's feeling it in his lower back. He says,
08:57specifically, I'm really feeling it in those transitions. Guys, is that something you can see?
09:01Is that noticeable from your vantage point with Jorge? I would say it's hard to see right now,
09:06Haley, as he goes to the top. First guy in the 113s, 113.9. He bettered Hayden Deegan's time by
09:13just
09:13one-tenth of a second. And I'm with you, Adam. That lap looked very good. And sometimes when you
09:20have a little injury, whether it's a wrist, a lower back, an ankle, a knee, it almost makes you ride
09:26the
09:26bike a little bit smoother and a little bit more precise. So what I saw from Jorge, that lap was
09:34absolutely perfect timing. He didn't clip one jump, overshoot one jump. He was so smooth and maybe
09:41that's because he does have a sore lower back. So he's putting a little bit more emphasis because he
