00:00Let's start off with the nor'easters. We do have a nor'easter to talk about. Now, it's one of
00:06those
00:06situations that take this as your early heads up because there's a lot that we have to talk about,
00:13a lot that we're watching, and it's one of those situations where I have two different storm
00:17scenarios to show you, which means check back with us throughout the next couple days. You can get
00:22the latest forecast information as things become a little bit clearer, but what we can tell you
00:26right now, well, things are going to organize. We have this low pressure that's going to organize
00:32off the coast Wednesday and Thursday. Now, one of the questions right now is how far off the coast
00:39does it organize? Either way, we're looking at some sort of impacts, whether it's closer or further.
00:44So first, for places like the Outer Banks and coastal North Carolina and Virginia, then as we
00:50go Thursday night to Friday night, things are really going to pick up the pace as far as the system
00:56organizing, strengthening. It's not out of the question for it to even develop subtropical
01:01characteristics, but it's one of those I won't get into the nitty-gritty. Let's just talk impacts.
01:06So scenario number one, this is if the storm forms and then makes its way right towards
01:14the coast here. That is where we are really concerned about not only coastal flooding and wind,
01:20but also rain for everybody highlighted here. Notice it goes pretty far inland. It's not just
01:25the coastal cities that are going to see the impacts if this is the scenario that takes
01:29shape. And right now, it is the most likely scenario. Now, let's talk scenario number two.
01:37This is where it stays further off coast and it tracks in the opposite direction. Less rain,
01:44but still wind and still coastal flooding. It just becomes more localized. Now, again, because
01:49scenario one looks more likely right now, our current forecast is calling for moderate to even high or
01:55major coastal flooding, especially for these areas in red. You really want to be paying attention to
02:02this. We're talking about some big, big impacts as we head late this week through the weekend.
