00:0147-year-old Sergei Mitnick has formally been refused bail by a judge this afternoon.
00:07He's accused of the alleged murder of his 90-year-old grandmother at her Bondi home,
00:12which according to police, took place on Saturday.
00:15Police say Mr. Mitnick was found and arrested at the scene.
00:19He was cooperative with police at the scene where he was arrested,
00:22taken to Surrey Hills Police Station,
00:24and throughout the evening underwent forensic procedures, interviews,
00:32and was charged with murder this morning.
00:35Police say they have limited information on Mr. Mitnick's past,
00:38but they were able to confirm that he has no previous DV record.
00:43The 90-year-old is only one of three women killed in alleged murders
00:48related to domestic violence within a 24-hour window.
00:54Police say he was looking for sick saving officers in the 80s.
