A man is in police custody over the stabbing deaths of his former partner and her current boyfriend in Sydney's north-west. He's being questioned by detectives who say he's expected to be charged with two counts of domestic violence-related murder.

00:00A quiet suburban street, now the scene of a horrific crime.

00:17where they discovered the body of a 38 year old woman in the kitchen.

00:46A 47 year old man handed himself in at Blacktown Police Station a short time later.
00:52Police say he's suspected of killing the couple.
00:55The male that's in custody was previously in a relationship with the female.
01:00Police say the knife used in this deadly attack was later found dumped near this service station in Woodcroft.
01:06The suspected murder weapon has now been taken away for forensic testing.
01:10Neighbours say the pair had moved in less than a year ago and never caused trouble.
