Tesco Scotland grocery haul time, with a full family food shop and plenty of practical meal ideas for the week ahead. Cheryl shares what she picked up after spending just over £75, including bananas, carrots, parsley, surface wipes, sweetcorn, soup, baked beans, custard, squash, tuna, butter, fresh spaghetti, frozen chips and jacket potatoes.

There are also easy dinner staples like beef olives, garlic bread, corn beef, creamy mushroom sauce, chicken food top-ups for Jasper, yogurts, tinned peaches, crisps, biscuits and banana bread loaves. She talks through how each item fits into meals such as fish pie, spaghetti bolognese, cheeseburger pasta bakes and chicken breasts with gravy, while mentioning a quick butcher trip still needed for meat. The chatty, down-to-earth style makes this a familiar UK supermarket haul and family meal planning video.

00:03well hello there folks and a very warm welcome back to what's for tea and it's lovely to see
00:09you all again as usual and hope that i find you very well and you're managing to stay wrapped up
00:14and warm because it's been freezing here if you're in this country you'll know exactly what i'm
00:19talking about but wherever you are i hope you are safe and warm so thank you so much for coming
00:24over
00:25just to check out what i picked up for the family food shop this week we've gone back to tesco
00:29and spent just over 75 pounds as usual i'll just show you what i've got no particular order
00:36so i needed some of these wee click and seal bags for leftovers and sandwiches that type of thing
00:42and then our usual bananas as well which i always say are really good value but they are for what
00:48they always seem cheaper than what they should be or is that just me anyway and i needed some carrots
00:54and then some parsley as well and then i needed some surface wipes i just got one i've still got
01:00a couple of packs there but i don't like to run out of those and then some sweet corn as
01:05well we're
01:05going to be having a fish pie so that's for the side of the fish pie and then some tomato
01:11soup as well
01:11for our cheeseburger pasta bakes that requires a can of tomato soup and then a couple of tins of baked
01:19beans as well and then some laurels as well and these ones were on offer i just tend to buy
01:24whatever
01:24as an offer it doesn't make any difference does it and then some custard as well just for some cake
01:30it's just that time of the year where we're having custard and then some diluting juice or squash or
01:36cordial whatever you like to call it this is the cherries and berries that's quadruple strength so it does
01:42last a wee while and then some silver spoon half and half i think in the us i think you
01:48call this
01:48two equal you know i'm sure it's called two equal something like that and then some of my mccain
01:55frozen jackets which i love and i know they're ridiculously expensive for what they are but
02:00they're just so easy especially if you're really busy and then a four pack of tuna and their own is
02:06absolutely fine i always go for this one now over the branded one i don't find any difference and
02:12then some butter as well and again this one was an offer you usually pick it up when it is
02:17on offer
02:17and then some of the fresh spaghetti we're going to be having spaghetti bolognese and i prefer
02:23the fresh spaghetti it just cooks so much nicer it never sticks together and it's got a lovely soft
02:29texture now jasper's food we get him catkin as you know but there's a wee mix up with the order
02:35this
02:36month which means there's going to be a delay on it of about a week or so so i've picked
02:41him these
02:41wee cans of cat food up just to get him through until it actually arrives it was our fault not
02:47catkin's fault it was our fault some frozen chips and then my usual actimel as well these are just wee
02:54probiotic shots which i've been taking for quite a few months now i don't know if they make any
02:59difference but i do enjoy having them in the morning and then i've seen this i've never seen it
03:04before i usually make my bolognese sauce from scratch but this is going to be a particularly
03:09busy week so i've seen this and i thought it looked lovely it's a wee bit more expensive than
03:14you know i think these things should be but hopefully it's going to be delicious and hopefully
03:19i can just stir this through the fresh spaghetti add a wee bit of cheese on the top and i
03:24hope it's
03:25going to be lovely then some beef olives i'll just cook this with some carrots and onions and gravy
03:30pop it into the oven and it'll be lovely and then some garlic bread as well again this was a
03:35really
03:35good price not one i normally buy but when i see an offer like this and i'm looking for garlic
03:40bread
03:40that's when i tend to pick up something like that and then some corned beef for sandwiches and i'm
03:46going to be doing chicken breasts and they don't really produce much of a gravy so i've seen this sauce
03:51it's a mushroom creamy sauce and i thought that'd be lovely just poured over the top so yeah haven't
03:57tried that in fact i haven't seen it before either so i will let you know what that's like
04:01a couple of yogurts on the mango and papaya and the vanilla large pots and then some of their own
04:07branded canned peaches which are a fraction of the price of the del monte which i used to buy and
04:13i'm
04:13told there's no difference so i will go for the cheaper ones some crisps and then some biscuits these
04:19are lovely i just wish you get more in the box and then some of these wee banana bread loafs
04:24as well
04:25so that was everything that i got from tesco this week and i do need to nip to the local
04:30butcher for
04:30some chicken breasts some minced beef and also diced stew and steak as well but that's the bulk of
04:36everything that we need so thank you so much for watching if you're still here and about the giveaway
04:42i was just going to say i will be announcing the giveaway in next week's food shopping it won't be
04:47a
04:47standalone video so if you are one of the folk that watch the actual shopping unboxing or unbagging
04:53videos then you'll be the first to hear about it so i will be announcing that next week so it's
04:58going
04:58to be a cash giveaway as usual so a 400 pound cash giveaway this year and also there's going to
05:04be a
05:04runner-up prize of 100 pounds as well so it's going to be a 500 pound giveaway which is the
05:09most that i've
05:10ever given away on the channel so if you want to be entered make sure to watch next week for
05:15the
