00:26out what i picked up in this week's family food shop and do stay on till the end if you
00:31want to
00:31enter this year's christmas cash giveaway so that's going to be just at the end of the food
00:37shopping but don't skip forward do watch this part as well so as you can see we've gone back to
00:42tesco and spent just over 63 pounds but i do still have a few bits and bobs to get so
00:48i'll just as
00:49usual take you from the start all the way till the end in no particular order so i've got some
00:54fresh
00:55taglatelle i've also got some lean ham on the bone just for sandwiches or rolls the taglatelle is for
01:01a carbonara that we're going to be doing i haven't had that for a wee while so we fancied a
01:05wee cheeky
01:06carbonara and that's what these mushrooms are for as well and then i got some of the high protein
01:11yogurts and honestly if you're looking for a higher protein yogurts i highly recommend these ones
01:16they are lovely and smooth and not difficult to eat at all and then some broccoli and then some of
01:23my
01:23actimel which are just probiotic shots and they're good for your gut health and then i picked up some
01:29mini frozen corn in the cobs which are just really handy to keep in the freezer you can just pull
01:34out
01:34one or two when you need them and i think there's about 10 in that bag and then our usual
01:39bananas
01:39as well and i always laugh at these i don't know why but yeah our usual bananas and i'm going
01:44to be
01:45making some fruit scones so i needed some buttermilk i like to use buttermilk i think it just gives you
01:50a
01:51lovely end result and then some onions and then again for the freezer i got this garlic bread again
01:57just pull it out you know a couple of slices when you need it and this fish i thought was
02:01a fabulous
02:02price so i thought i'd try that i haven't tried that one before and then some coleslaw as well and
02:07this
02:07is one i've been buying over the last wee while and it's just lovely and creamy you don't get much
02:12in
02:12the wee pot but it's enough and then i just love the packaging on this butter this is going to
02:17be for
02:18the scones so it's just unsalted butter yeah love the packaging on that and then some frozen chips as
02:24well again these ones were on offer and i have these before and they're absolutely fine and then
02:30some frozen broccoli as well just because it's so handy to have in the freezer if you don't have any
02:35fresh then a couple of scotch pies and these are just very traditional scottish pies obviously it's
02:41hot water pastry and traditionally it'd be mutton in there and i have done a video recipe on these pies
02:47they're so easy to make and i will leave that in the corner there if you just click in the
02:52corner
02:52you will find the recipe there highly recommended they're lovely some soup so lentil and bacon vegetable
02:58soup and then a tomato as well just to stock up the cupboard always like to have a few different
03:03soups in and then a few tins of baked beans as well and then i needed some rocket we're going
03:08to be
03:09having ciabatta rolls with rocket and steak and cheese which i'm looking forward to and then
03:14jasper snacks and it's cheaper buying the big bag than the wee individual bags and then some custard
03:20as well just for the cupboard and i've been loving brown rice recently or whole grain rice you know
03:25however you like to say it and this just goes into the microwave just so handy and then i needed
03:30some
03:31eggs for some baking and also the scones that i'm going to be doing and i've seen these ones and
03:35i
03:35thought they looked quite nice and then just a wee lemon for some fish and chips we're going to be
03:40having and then some sweeteners as well i thought i'd give these ones a go these are the i said
03:45ciabatta
03:46rolls these are panini rolls actually so we're going to have the panini rolls with some very thin steak
03:51the rocket and then some cheese as well yeah looking forward to those and then some individual apple pies
03:58as well and these are the lower sugar variety and then just one large pot of yogurt this week
04:04we've already got some there and then this big box of biscuits was only two pounds they're fairly
04:10basic you know biscuits but there are loads of biscuits in here so i thought that was fabulous
04:15value and i'll just pop these into the snack drawer and then it wouldn't be christmas without a tub of
04:21roses or quality street or celebrations or heroes whatever your favorites are these are our favorites
04:28and my favorites in the box are the strawberry cream and also the one with the runny caramel and
04:34i think it's the caramel lager caramel keg this one here is my favorite i like anything with a sort
04:41of
04:41runny soft center so these will be going away for christmas so i'm going to mention the giveaway next so

06:03over the place so i think it'd be unfair to exclude you just because you know you're not in the

06:14on saturday the 20th of december that gives folk a couple of weeks to get entered the winner will
06:20be chosen completely at random by a random comment picker which i will record and include in the
