TAROUBA JOINT ARMY/POLICE POST OPENS

The first of three completed Joint Army/Police Posts opened this morning in Tarouba as the State of Emergency comes to an end.  Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander attended the opening, while Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro said the launch marks the next phase of the TTPS' anti-crime initiative.  The Commissioner also warned that detainees being released under Preventive Detention Orders today will be returning to a different policing environment. 00:10number three has come to a close or will be closing today we have decided to go to the next

00:17stage in our anti-crime initiative and that is the opening of the micro police units so at the end

00:26of today we have had all the persons who are illegible to be released from preventative

00:33detention orders being back on the streets but sadly they'll be coming out here to meet a different

00:39environment a different policing environment highly operational and highly effective and

00:47we'll be utilizing all the tools that are available to us to peg back crime
