Police Officers who were involved in the rescue of kidnap victim Jankie Satie are receiving threats.
This started moments after they were identified and their images made public following a commendation ceremony this morning at the Police Administration building.
The function for officers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty was attended by Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro and Homeland Minister Roger Alexander.

00:23Present here today in this room, persons who would have spent the better part of over a week searching diligently in the forested areas of Trinidad and Tobago to rescue a citizen who was kidnapped and held hostage for ransom.
00:42And we would also like to recognize those officers for that going beyond and beyond, above and beyond the call of duty.
00:55Among those commended were a number of officers responsible for the seizure of arms and ammunition.
01:00Special mention was also made of a few officers for their above average diligence in issuing tickets for traffic offenses.
01:08Also acknowledged was one officer who foiled a robbery at a bar along Independence Square in Port of Spain one week ago.
