The Grand Bazaar Joint Army/Police Post officially opened today, becoming the second of three new security posts to begin operations. Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro says today also marks the operationalization of the TTPS’ micro police units. He says the move is part of a broader shift toward proactive policing and a different operational posture.

The Commissioner of Police continued his tour of the new facilities, joined by Deputy Commissioner of Police Suzette Martin and other members of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.The Eddie Hart Joint Army/Police Post is expected to open later today.
