00:00UMass the worst college football team in America a year ago it's the first win for UMass since
00:092024 and what do they do they beat the fighting Chianos 37 to 21 look I gotta tell you I
00:19love
00:19Greg Chiano former University of Miami assistant coach he's been a friend of mine a long time
00:25guy almost got me on a Sopranos but wow it's time you cannot lose to UMass when the only names
00:35that
00:36anyone ever knows from UMass is Dr. J and Marcus Gamby and John Calipari they were completely
00:43outplayed they were out tough they were out hustled and they were out executed by a college
00:50football team that barely gives scholarships out
00:55Rutgers is in a shambles right now they have no right being in the Big Ten this is not a
01:03Big Ten
01:03football program since they've been in the Big Ten they have lost almost 700 million dollars
01:11with over budget and them trying to build their sports programs up and all they've done is build
01:18their sports programs down how about this little nugget Rutgers spent 1.55 million dollars
01:26to UMass and gave UMass that money for them to come into Piscataway to get their asses kicked
01:34so basically what you did was you gave somebody almost two million bucks to come kick your ass
01:40that you were expecting to have a firework show that was going to be a celebration after the game instead
01:47you have nothing but misery and embarrassment this is embarrassing this is a college football team
01:55that has never really gone anywhere since the Ray Rice days and now Greg Sciano who by the way was
02:02in
02:02charge of those football teams back in the day Rutgers has to have a come to Jesus conversation
02:07what are you doing in the Big Ten oh I get it it's the New York New Jersey market
02:13that's why you're in the Big Ten is because you're in the New Jersey New York market you're not in
02:20it for
02:21your sports programs you're not in it to winning a national championship in either college basketball or college
02:27football you're just a dude that's basically roadkill for the rest of the Big Ten teams
02:33certain teams do not belong in major conferences and here's one of them I can even make the argument
02:39that Nebraska doesn't belong in the Big Ten what have they done since they've joined that conference
02:46nothing Nebraska used to be one of the absolutely greatest college football programs on the planet
02:52now they are also like Rutgers roadkill that game last night I sat and watched that thing
02:59and I was watching more so for the fact how could a team like UMass that had no talent on
03:05it a year ago
03:07go in there and completely dominate a big power for conference football program like Rutgers
03:14from the beginning to the end it wasn't close and you're generating that kind of money
03:22for your school and you can't figure out how to build your football program you know why this is
03:29important look at Kurt Signetti Kurt Signetti took the worst college football program in America
03:38in Indiana and turned him into a 16 and 0 national power Indiana is now one of the top 10
03:47programs in
03:48the country he wasn't doing it with giant nail money he wasn't doing it with big time transfers he was
03:55doing it with transfers from the MAC from James Madison guys that were hungry and wanted to come in and
04:02elevate the program that's why Indiana right now is where Indiana is is because Kurt Signetti knows how to
04:09build a build a football program Greg Chiano in my opinion needs to be fired it's time dude where are
04:17you
04:17going if you can't be competitive against UMass how are you going to be competitive against Penn State
04:25how are you going to be competitive against Ohio State or Michigan this is big time college football
04:33now this is in theory professional football and if you ain't playing with the pros you're roadkill dude
04:41and right now that performance last night with Rutgers was all but nothing but roadkill what a shame
04:49Greg Chiano is a good coach who's lost his way with that program it's time to fire him no question
04:56about it
04:57and it's time to sit there and think where that program needs to go and also the administrators
05:02at Rutgers also have to come up with ways to figure out do we belong in the Big Ten that
05:09is not a Big Ten
05:10football school that is not
05:13all right
05:13we
