00:20But, you know, I think it was 9-0 in one score games that season.
00:23Had a couple really, really tight, close wins over a really good Oregon team that year.
00:28He came over to Alabama and, like, I don't want to make too much of a small sample size,
00:33but, like, you just had that terrible loss to Florida State to start the season.
00:36You right the ship a little bit.
00:37You get a big win at Georgia, but then just seemed like the team wasn't going in the right
00:44direction towards the end of the season.
00:46Bad losses to Georgia.
00:48Bad loss to Indiana.
00:50And, like, I don't think Kalen DeBoer's a bad coach.
00:54I just think, like, his results so far are making us think he's better than we thought
01:02he was.
01:03I don't know if anyone's in the class of Saban, but, like, it's always going to be hard to
01:07follow Saban.
01:08But one of the reasons I didn't put Alabama's overrated as a team like 13th or in the teens
01:13is because, like, I think there's a legit argument that he's that good of a coach, right?
01:16He's got a high recruit at quarterback in Keelan Russell coming in, number two recruit
01:21in the nation behind Bryce Underwood last year.
01:24And that entire secondary is going to play in the NFL.
01:26They all come back from last year.
01:29And that's a good start.
01:30I mean, I think they have some question marks.
01:32I think he's going to have to do an incredible coaching job to, you know, make an SEC championship
01:38game and a playoff run.
01:40But I also don't think that's out of the question either, right?
01:42Like, I've been kind of ragging on him all offseason because it's kind of fun to, it's
01:47kind of fun to poke and prod the Bama people.
01:49But, yeah, maybe the best way to put it, Matt, is I think there's a high variance there.
01:56Like, we've obviously seen him do pretty well.
02:00If they went, you know, eight and four, I don't think I'd be shocked either.
