00:04on the Supersport race here which is just getting ready to go. We've got Ben Curry with us,
00:09Championship contender this year unfortunately injured and out of this weekend's action. First
00:13of all Ben, big knock for you at Alton Park last time. Matt, how are you doing? Yeah I'm not
00:17doing
00:17too bad all things considered you know it's a massive crash and I've got a lot of injuries but
00:23yeah doing really good. A week ago I probably would have said something completely different
00:27but now we're here and enjoying this action-packed racing. Well that's exactly what it is and you've
00:33had a perfect seat for it really kind of watching from inside the garage because your replacement
00:37Chan Onchoo, world-class rider, is here in your place and he's mixing things up a bit it's fair
00:43to say. Yeah I mean Chan his record sort of speaks for itself you know he's probably I would say
00:48over
00:49one lap the fastest guy in the world in Supersport and he brings a wealth of experience riding the
00:54R9 for probably the best world Supersport team on the grid which is amazing for us. I mean it's
01:00tough to watch him riding with the 61 on I mean he's number 61 anyway but he's riding with my
01:04number
01:0461 and my wife's his broly girl so he's probably doing a job on me. Ben what's he brought to
01:11the
01:12table for you? Has he changed uh has he asked for many changes to the bike? Has he made them
01:16any
01:16suggestions to where you've been with it so far? I mean what's he what's he been asking for from
01:21from your bike? Yeah it's actually really interesting because our bike is quite a bit
01:25different to the world Supersport spec obviously swing arm that you know there's a lot of notable
01:31things that have been well documented through the season. He said initially the bike feels
01:36a little bit too soft he said he needs it more stiffer to be able to ride more aggressive
01:41he was struggling in the early practices to sort of get the confidence on the bike because the bike
01:47feels so different to him and now he's got the bike in a window where he can ride aggressive
01:51and you saw that yesterday like how aggressive it was and I think that's also given us a little
01:56bit of a direction to say you know like there's more to the bike let's keep moving in that direction
02:01and let's keep pushing harder. It was a spicy race yesterday without curry in it hey no pun intended
02:09you've been dying to do that all day. Be honest. It's been a while and it was largely down to
02:15that man
02:16there just behind us James but a real scrap developing Luke Stapleford now quite a comfortable
02:21championship leader but he knows he's got his handful uh this afternoon. Yeah definitely I mean
02:26it was one of those things we were really kind of looking forward to because he's had it a little
02:30bit
02:30of his uh you know we're seeing here I mean this race at the end we can see Anju and
02:35uh Bayless have
02:36that little touch Stapleford gets up the inside Bayless has to run over he has to be very conscious to
02:41lose
02:41his half a second which he does very very well so you know that was the one two three but
02:46you know
02:47we just had this brilliant dice and you gotta remember Stapleford in five races in a row he got
02:52he got beat by Bayless so for him as well it was even though he might have that you know
02:56that that
02:57points lead it was 123 it's down to 62 I think or 57 so you know it's been a massive
03:03massive points
03:04all so it was important for him to kind of stand up and do it but what a brilliant race
03:08it was.
03:08And with um Oli Bayless in the mix as well uh Sheiky who's got some genuine world-class talent here

03:14in the British championship. Yeah I think Ben hit the nail on the head to be fair Chanon Chew's one

03:18the fastest guys over a lap you know he spends all day every day riding with Top Rack and
03:23you know they they they're literally relentless aren't they the Turks and uh so good to watch such an
03:29action-packed rider and uh you know to see him mixing a world-class rider mixing it at the front
03:34of the
03:34British Supersport Championship with veterans like you know Luke Stapleford he won't like me for calling him a
03:38veteran but uh you know he's been around a long time won a lot of races and uh super strong
03:42guy and
03:42he'll be wanting to take them to him this afternoon. I think he's been called worse this weekend actually
03:46than that hasn't he Ben. Last one for you quick uh quick tip for the race. Yeah to be honest

03:50I can't call it I do know Chan is fired up like he says actually I won't repeat what he
03:56says I can't
03:56but um this is going to be a colossal battle and to be honest with you I'm devastated not to

04:23know if they know them or not they know you uh so I thought why not I'll come back how

04:27No really well we uh we felt like we had a good pace yesterday sadly we lost the front group
04:32but we're confident today found a little bit in warm-up and feeling like we can fight
04:36with that front group today and hopefully uh run away with them. Make a good start good luck mate.

04:50man this is Chanon Chu uh runs really well he's just chatting with Barry he's crew chief now if I

04:56in now they've got they've got work to do he's definitely gonna run to the front even though
05:01he's gotta come from the third row that's really possible if he can make a start getting that leading
05:07bunch it'll be somewhere near uh right just over three minutes left so yesterday's race there was
05:13a little bit of rancor going on there and it wasn't all pleasant it was brilliant race on track but
05:18Chanon Chu upset Luke Staple for the upset Chan back
05:21Ollie Bailey's within the mix somewhere as well and it wasn't all smiles in the park firm mate that's
05:28all I'll say anyway we'll see how with this one unfolds front row uh Harry true love uh Harry
05:35we've seen you up and down this weekend I've seen you a couple of times but not chatted with you
05:39but
05:39sometimes big smile on your face sometimes look like you're a bit annoyed how's it how's it going
05:43overall overall I'd say it's pretty good um it's not always my favorite place to be so I think you
05:49know taking everything together pretty good weekend what's it like on these bikes this is
05:54about the same power as I had in a super bike last time I came in it seemed quite fun

05:58looking what the super bikes they look hard work now these are like it's a little bit more fun yeah
06:02no to be fair it is actually mega track to ride I just need to uh grow a set on
06:06a couple of corners
06:07and uh be a bit more liberal with the throttle and I think we'll be all right but it's uh

06:27you had a brilliant run to fourth yesterday uh like it always is at Thruxton it's got a slipstream
06:33and a kind of tactical dice how do you see this one going sit back be patient and see how

06:40and hopefully we'll be there at the end and and do you really enjoy this to me this looks like
06:45excellent fun when there's four or five of you at the front oh yeah definitely it's a good battle
06:49um hopefully it's not that much carnage with Onku but um we'll see how it goes
06:54I told you I said I said there was some action on track that didn't really go down too well

07:10uh going British super spot Holly uh good race yesterday it's the sort of circuit where you know
07:17you can't guarantee anything you can be leading on the last lap and end up fifth and and vice versa
07:22uh do you enjoy it yeah yeah I loved it I mean obviously we want to win but I love
07:28a good battle
07:28so uh you know we came off second third best but uh yeah we learned something so I was just
07:35going to
07:35say you're going to learn from that and tactically there's probably lots more you can do what we've
07:40seen from you is tactics are like natural to you yeah I mean obviously I tried to come up with
07:45a plan
07:45midway through Luke came past me on the last lap and that messed up my plan so uh yeah I'm
07:50going to
07:51try not to plan until I'm on the last lap itself and uh I definitely will not go to the
07:56outside in the
07:56last turn good luck on the grass on the inside if I have to good luck thanks mate yeah that's

08:02one of the things about you can have a plan when the race starts it'll never go to plan a
08:07and what
08:08you need is a plan b and a plan c and you've got a bit of think on your feet
08:11and Ollie Bailey's is
08:12capable and he's not got a lot of experience around here as always super sport race is going to be

08:17cracker well it definitely was yesterday it put the furious into fast and furious but these boys
08:24now face the challenge of staying calm throughout this super sport feature race as James said
08:29it's going to be a belter it's going to be live in just a couple of minutes time stick with

08:47up next British Superbikes still to come we've had a few failed tire pressure checks this weekend
08:54and it's weird it's ugly head again two riders leaving the grid because of that number 91 James
09:00Alderson number 73 on the Hippo Suzuki's Jack Mahaffey so they have to get that adjusted now correctly they
09:05have they're now exiting pit lane they'll have to start though from the back of the grid in terms of
09:10the championship Luke Stapleford has a healthy advantage he's 53 points up on Jack Kennedy and
09:1769 up on Ollie Bayliss but the biggest story are the shenanigans that have been going on here at
09:23Thruxton since yesterday let's just say quite a lot of on track gesticulating on the sighting lap
09:30and on the slow down lap yesterday no shaking of hands down in Park Fermat as well so let's see

09:37this one goes because there's been a lot of talk before this race and it seems like this could go
09:43off Holly Bayliss is on pole from Josh Watley who's got great form we'll talk more about Josh shortly
09:48Harry Trulove his third hoping that he can have a good day Stapleford heads row two ahead of Carter
09:55Brown and Jack Kennedy with Harrison Toms and Chan on two the rest of the field to follow nice to

10:01from Corey Tinker there flying the flag for Suffolk 18 laps this race is so it's longer than yesterday
10:07tire wear could play a part we had a brilliant race yesterday James I'm sure we're going to get
10:11the same but that added spice of the drama in Park Fermat it's just almost added a bit more to

10:17you're exactly right it's added another layer and uh being the longer race as well 18 laps rather than
10:23the 12 so an extra six laps the guys are going to have to sort of manage that too but

10:28interesting dynamic between on two Stapleford Bayliss and you know we'll put Watley in there as well
10:35and we are in for a race yeah we really are Chan on Chew wherever he goes it's always drama

10:42imagine an already wild party and then that one fella turns up with fireworks in his pocket that's
10:48Chan on Chew let's see what we've got in store here then for Quattro Group British Supersport there's the
10:53championship leader on the scars racing to Kathy Luke Stapleford and his eyes on the lights for
11:0118 laps in British Supersport and we are on the way Oli Bayliss I'm not sure if he got hooked
11:07up initially but he got up well look at
11:08Chan on Chew already tried to make big moves his leg was off there what happened there on the approach
11:12to turn one
11:13someone on the outside as well his foot was off going around turn one but Bayliss made a beautiful launch
11:19oh nice from Watley there he is up in the second just slipping past his teammate and I think the
11:26Stapleford's in fifth yes that's Kennedy there number four couple of riders wide further back that's
11:32I think Davis it's uh Stapleford though the championship leader with work to do early on
11:38Oli Bayliss leads on the McCallum Triumph from Josh Watley on the XMT Racing Triumph another world
11:45Supersport competitor who's a determined character that's really wide almost in and over there you
11:51were dirty on the track out there as well so you've got to be careful Watley is drafted through to
11:55uh
11:56take the lead as they come down into church and more true true love I'll slip through so Harry
12:02true love also present there it's Stapleford to championship leader in fifth yeah their
12:09key comes on to come in 11 and look up the inside of TJ Tons but no he doesn't do

12:22in this race I think they're just all in Harry true lovely then from Josh Watley third is Oli
12:28Bayliss fourth is Kennedy looking for his first win of the year then it's Carter Brown on the bench
12:33pro racing Ducati he's in fifth yeah Stapleford now good start from him
12:39so the complex for the first time nice move there on the inside from Watley on Harry true love
12:45he's up for this he certainly is just did have a little uh chat with him just before the uh
12:52just
12:52before the race about half an hour ago he was sitting in an ice cold bath out the back of
12:57the
12:57pits and uh yeah he just said really enjoying it enjoying the bike enjoying the team and uh
13:02looking forward to getting out there and having another crack at it yeah looking like he's got a
13:05bit of support from Simon Buckmaster who's here this weekend remember Buckmaster the team boss of
13:09Oli Bayliss in the world championship they asked him about Oli who might miss this last round of the
13:15season he said well if the championship is right on let's see what happens this race though look at
13:19it already it's Josh Watley XMT racing triumph who leads from true love but they're side by side now
13:26it's on the outside there is Oli Bayliss he said he wouldn't be there on the last lap
13:30he picked through look at this hardly any room oh there's contact there's contact between Kennedy
13:36and Bayliss both stay on yeah thankfully they do he's just got a little bit tight there
13:41bit congested someone spins up coming out onto the straight and aren't you he's through on Tom's
13:47yeah he's through on Tom's now and he's just behind uh Stapleford so watch the uh yellow number 74
13:53of kind of oh no it's a good old whack that was it was just in front of them I
13:56was about to say it
13:57was uh Kennedy and uh Bayliss but luckily they're both through okay this is to how racing goes at
14:02Thruxton fastest lap Mikey Hardy in 12th on the other Hippo Suzuki brilliant stuff from him he's in
14:09the points here yesterday he's one spot ahead of Corey Tinker who Wits spoke to on the grid it's
14:13Josh Watley the 20-year-old who leads from Harry True Love number 44 Oli Bayliss is in third
14:21Stapleford's championship leader has now fallen behind Chan Onchoo
14:28only dropped off a little bit there as well hasn't he maybe he just made a little mistake or maybe
14:33it
14:33was a just biding a hard pass yeah he is but he wouldn't necessarily want to sort of drop that
14:39much
14:39one thing's staying in the pack but look at that now we're seeing how the slip streaming works
14:43as we come two three four abreast late on the breaks and you've really got to thread the needle
14:49here it's where we saw a few little mistakes earlier I thought Kennedy was going to give
14:53Bayliss another nudge then through the club's game over the line we go to start that four of 18
15:00Chan Onchoo eyeing up the yellow Ducati of uh Carter Brown Josh Bannister looks like has
15:07exited the scene TJ Tons on the green Kawasaki also part of this he's in eighth
15:12past this man of that one Luca Brown in 14
15:14yeah brilliant I believe it a shout out also to uh Claridge Harvey Claridge he's up into the top 10
15:21excellent from him they can all see the leader in the early stages 17.1 from Lucas Brown he's actually
15:29at the somewhere near the tail end of this big group of riders it's Watley who leads though
15:34yeah he's looking comfortable doesn't he smooth neat you know hitting his marks it's not like a track
15:39he'll have done lots and lots and obviously he's just did a really good job remember we got some
15:45really big names in the front of the world championship in this field the likes of Bayliss
15:50who's had two podiums in the world championship this year and the likes of Onchoo coming in and
15:55you know Onchoo's just a man that's slowly suddenly becoming that's the man we're talking about
15:59number 61 in fifth spot now he'll close in on the brakes we come into here whoa Jack Kennedy from
16:06third up to first can he get it stopped he does the Irishman the five-time champion then leads now
16:11into the chicane as we're about to start our five
16:17to turn one nice from Bayliss
16:20well it's up the race from Kennedy there 17.0 so just getting his head down a little bit
16:26slow pace in the opening laps of this one which is perhaps just inviting a few new names into the
16:32mix
16:33to the complex then Honda UK Racing who have had a good day so far at Truxton
16:41and it's Harry Trulove on the McCams Yamahari's new teammate for the weekend Chan Onchoo
16:45just up behind him
16:51yeah he's coming though isn't he Onchoo oh he's through actually Onchoo's the one in fourth
16:55he is he started off eighth ninth just slowly working his way up qualified ninth obviously from that lap time
17:02from the earlier race made noises to Steve Rogers about coming to Cadwell Park as well as Chan Onchoo he's
17:10really enjoyed his time here in the British paddock he said the only thing that I'm not too happy with
17:14is I want to do more laps
17:16loves racing at the front though Watley now pulls to the inside Bayliss has got good draft as well as
17:22Chan Onchoo and Kennedy goes from first to fourth I think there might have been even some contact there
17:29they both knew what they were doing you saw Jack just stood it up he could see what was happening
17:33there Onchoo just kind of did a little ton of release of the brakes and just lifted him up but
17:39you know Kennedy can give as good as he gets
17:43it's faithful for just starting to warm up into this one now on the scars racing Ducati
17:47Oh you see a little snaking as it came in there on Bayliss these two used to each other in
17:54world
17:54championship as well oh well you heard what the earlier mention on the grid about Chan Onchoo
18:01you never know what you're going to get one thing you don't want to see on your pit board is
18:04plus zero
18:05Onchoo that's for sure because you don't know what to expect he's a hard charger
18:11it's either gas on or gas off there's no in between for this Mac Macamay Yamaha rider
18:16for the weekend a Turkish sensation who was the youngest ever Grand Prix race winner and now he's
18:22going to maybe have a look up into church for P1 no it's better of it but now watch this
18:28they're
18:28going to be three or four abreast here on the approach to the chicane they are look at the
18:32look at this already the slipstream and actually find Kennedy or true love might be in the best
18:38positions there Kennedy from fourth he went from first to fourth he's now gone from fourth to third
18:46Stapleford has moved up one spot as well he's gone ahead of Harry true love the championship leader
18:51who can afford to finish third and I know this is impossible really in this sort of category but
18:57you can afford to finish third in every race and become champion from here on it you've literally
19:00got the first 16 bikes in a row in this leading sussle that's incredible isn't it a change for the
19:09lead again it is it's Chan Onchoo from Knights on the Grid to lead well we knew he would do
19:15he's just
19:16got there it's not even taking him half a race distance he's uh he's out front now question is
19:22what will he do knowing him I think he'll probably try and put in a couple of laps see if
19:26he can break
19:27him this will be a nice little tester for for Whatley and Bayliss and Kennedy what it looked like
19:32Bayliss might have just run a fraction wide there misjudged yesterday to Chan Onchoo he didn't
19:37realize it was actually the last lap he thought he had one more left over the line said he's not
19:42going to make the same mistake again today through church corner they all get into each other slipstream
19:47will Chan Onchoo stay in p1 he's got Whatley and Kennedy and Bayliss all in his draught are trying
19:54to find some spare road on the approach to the chicane and Onchoo one's going one way one's going
20:02around the outside he did you saw Bayliss think about it but he thought better off it you know I
20:08don't think he's going around the outside of Onchoo there Kennedy did well though I told you he could
20:12return the favour which he did Stapleford still there in fifth watching it all unfold there he is number
20:19eight handsomely no matter what happens here today he'll take that into Cadwell Parkers again down
20:26into the complex so good through there Onchoo it just seems it doesn't matter who he is who's in
20:31front of him he could just make that pass there at will Kennedy's been on the podium so regularly
20:37this year it's rare for him to have gone so long without a race win I don't think it's ever
20:42happened before no it's motivation for him that's for sure top 13 riders over the line within two
20:50and a half seconds there's Corey Tinker on the JDM Ducati and he is that 13th man and that's
20:56incredible isn't it I mean they're just lapping within nothing of each other and it is still at this
21:04point in the race any one of those could take this win in theory Emmanuel Brinton who's in the
21:09millionaire competition Yamaha has moved up 10 spots oh look at this they nearly touched there as well oh my
21:14shoe there 165 170 miles an hour oh and he just stands up what they a fraction as well but
21:22nearly touched coming down that straight the trouble is they're all pulling out they're all in the slipstream
21:26you can't see all the riders around you so that pack moves a little bit and you can be a
21:31sort of just
21:32shuffled out he's fine he is wide dirty there as well he was again when he come offline here
21:38he's fourth at the end of the last lap he's now first to start this one and again Chanon Chu
21:42makes
21:42a move down into turn three Campbell corner in the complex it's Bayless that leads Josh Watley's
21:50heated up again he's up to third now true on Jack Kennedy
21:55still in fifth there number eight Luke Staplesford he's got true love in behind him and Harvey Claridge
22:00having the race of his life yeah he's doing a great job Claridge in seventh I think Staplesford as well
22:06he's just kind of holding station he's not you know working his bike too hard yeah he looks like he's
22:12just
22:12sort of hanging in there smooth neat watching the guys in front of him making sure no one's escaping but
22:18at the same time he doesn't doesn't look like he's overworking it doesn't it no they were heard that
22:23in terms of pace they're about 1.3 1.4 seconds after the lap record so the problem is you
22:29can't
22:29just suddenly wind it on these tyres are getting more look at this oh Jack Kennedy again from fourth
22:34to first the Irishman Chanon Chu now gets dumped down to fourth in front of Luke Staplesford but it's
22:40Kennedy now from Watley and Bayless just such a great such a long straight you've got to get that
22:45drive out of church and then the slipstream and it really does swap them about do you just wonder
22:51though don't you with these four chopping and changing lap after lap whether this is all playing
22:55into the hands of Luke Staplesford in fifth
23:00halfway through this already how is it possible halfway through it in the top 10 covered by 1.6
23:07TJ Toms is the man in 10th on the GNS Racing Kawasaki brilliant racing as ever here at Truxton
23:14I'm trying to save my voice a bit here because I think it's gonna go off
23:17oh Bayless goes through on uh on Watley there and then he's got this really sort of slightly wider
23:23line here by Bayless and he looks like he loses it there but he has a little wider line sort
23:29of
23:29coming down here compared to to most people Watley's on the inside there now hasn't necessarily
23:34worked for him this lap he's so brave doesn't he Bayless doesn't mind what line it is he showed us
23:40that at just about every single circuit can't wait to see what he does at Cadwell Park in a few
23:43weeks time Chan on Chew there then number 61 the replacement rider of Ben Curry who we heard from
23:49on the grid now he's got the inside line on Bayless oh Watley takes the lead Curry sorry Curry is
23:57not
23:58here he's watching number 61 is on Chew he goes through to third well look at this I'll tell you
24:05what
24:05Claridge as well look at him as you say brilliant from him just behind true love there in seventh
24:10you know ahead of Carter Brown Harrison down there on a Suzuki as well Claridge we should just point
24:15out 17 flat from Kennedy oh no way surely not gonna stop that was he stop that oh my word
24:21that was deep though because Kennedy's now got it that was close he it looked like he almost got
24:28that slightly wrong he barreled in there so quick and uh he did really well to uh to kind of

24:35the needle there but that was hot Chan on Chew when he comes around turn two I don't know if
24:42he just
24:42hits a button that says full send but I don't think he has any other button does he no I
24:47don't think he
24:47does don't think he does still a few in the mix here that could be on the top step Carter
24:53Brown cannot
24:54be ruled out at all in the background there is that Dean Harrison just making a move on Harvey
24:59Claridge as well so Dino's coming through and you can see Stapleford's just sort of suddenly moved up
25:04to fourth as well so he's coming up three abreast again Yamaha Honda triumph it is oh goodness me that
25:12was close wasn't it and then oh Stapleford he's up to third got past Bayliss in the in between the
25:20two corners as well Lucas Brown's also closing in on this group out front then it's all change
25:26again Chan on Chew leads from Kennedy then Stapleford in third he's been slowly going about his
25:32business in this race we're on lap 12 now of 18 yeah four different manufacturers in that top four
25:40look at Bayliss going for that little line but Stapleford got the inside he does we might square
25:46it off get underneath it oh and now on the inside from Bayliss they're side by side I thought they
25:51were
25:51going to touch then the can of triumph there of Oli Bayliss son of Troy in fourth place tell you
25:58what
25:58though Entry's put in a good little sector that sector just all those just chopped themselves up a
26:04little bit he's just got his head down yeah he has isn't he tear off removed by Oli Bayliss the
26:10rider in fourth into church corner although that advantage he's got can he hold on to it because this
26:17is where they tend to all close up what can Kennedy do on the Honda in second place also Stapleford

26:23third yeah just drive drive drive he's managed to hold it though it's about the first time we haven't
26:30seen Stapleford really neat there that was nice that was nice Stapleford up to second place then
26:36with eyes now on Chan on Chew and again he's sort of tied it it did look like he was
26:41just holding
26:42far for a large portion of this race you know trying to be conservative on that rear tire trying to

26:48some for these last you know last sort of five laps two-thirds distance completed as Watley tries
26:56to nip through on Bayliss it's important to note that two-thirds as well if there was a red flag
27:01race result would then be declared Chan on Chew leads this one at the moment he's so good in that
27:06first sector is the Turkish rider Luke Stapleford though has been solid as a rock so far now there's
27:12a bit of unfinished business going on here between on Chew and Stapleford could say the racing will
27:19do the talking and we're going to find out soon because we're getting to the business end of this
27:23race now that was a bit wide from Chan on Chew not lost too much time although there are varying
27:29lines
27:30you could take through there foot off the peg front you on the approach to church yeah he's a little
27:34bit
27:34wide but he just gets it squared off and now they all tuck in they run up this hill gets
27:40flattened out
27:40tv Bayliss has got the inside line on Stapleford he's going to take it this while and Kennedy's
27:45having a look as well so is Watley oh they're right back on him as we start lap 14 of
27:5318 as they come
27:53out of here what's crucial here for Chan on Chew though is that he has got through the chicane and
27:59across the line in first as Watley moves on Stapleford it's this first sector where he opens up his gap
28:04what can Bayliss do about that the man in second place on Chew it is that leads Bayliss there dragging
28:12his foot skidding it all the way through turn one and he's holding on to him this time is Bayliss
28:18yeah he's right there isn't he he's up for this the two world championship men back doing the
28:24british championship showing their form showing their class but they both got beaten by Stapleford the
28:29championship leader earlier the Stapleford's dropped off a little bit here on this lap scrappy
28:33couple of sectors for Stapleford it is he's dropped to fifth and a good chunk of time i don't know
28:38if
28:38he made a mistake somewhere that we haven't seen but it's uh it says 1.2 seconds it looks factually
28:44more
28:45than that on the approach to church Bayliss has got so much speed oh look at the tyres screeching away
28:53there for the Makam Yamahara of Chan on Chew has he got anything left here Kenton he's got a good
28:58drive it's gonna be two in one they pull out he's got that inside line and he will go through
29:04Chan on Chew has to allow him through in the background there Luke Stapleford crucially goes up
29:09to fourths as we start another lap now 15 lap of the race and you've got this sort of top
29:16five and
29:17a fractional grab just back you know they're just maybe dropping true love a fraction on this last
29:24lap just three laps to go watch on Chew up the inside always always every lap Kennedy not willing to
29:31let
29:32him have it he toughed that out didn't he he couldn't tough it out any harder than that
29:38every single time Chan on Chew is second going into the complex he makes that move and it doesn't
29:44seem like anyone's got an answer for that does it now then this is where the black and yellow
29:50triumph of Ollie Bayliss just has so much speed but there's a bike in the way you can't use it
29:56to go
29:56through is there a lunch coming at church they go through Goodwood up towards village another right
30:03king and then into church yeah they send me this drive it is Yamaha Honda triumph to Catty four different
30:11manufacturers in that top four and here comes Bayliss around the outside of Kennedy and look at
30:16Stapleford as well he's had a run he might do it too four breasts we coming but it is on
30:21two oh we've
30:21got a safety car out here safety cars out legs are out because they've seen the flags to say the

30:27car is out there's an incident here that's James McManus is that Emmanuel Brinton as well possibly I
30:32can't quite see both up on their feet no choice there because they're about to come through the section so
30:36Marshall's doing a brilliant job but this is what's it's a nasty one isn't it
30:42yeah so we've got tangled up together his legs being hooked up but hopefully we know he's
30:49not too bad yeah come over and get him we have seen them both up on their feet
30:53but here's a safety car hopefully it's going to be we saw it uh
30:56I hope it's in him one lap because we want a good path yeah to this and I you know
31:03Archie might not be
31:04fully up to speed with the safety car in uh BSB uh well he isn't I don't think he's ever
31:12seen one
31:12when he came at Donington I don't think there was one
31:15so basically when the lights go out which we're hoping will probably go out
31:19in the uh as they come down to the final straight you've got to stay tight no one could pass
31:25them so the
31:25safety car is coming in we're hearing which is perfect because we want these these last few laps
31:30so um no one can overtake until they've crossed the start finish line and it's up to Onchu when he
31:37decides to go the main thing is you want you've got to be right in the back wheel of the
31:40guy in front
31:41and you've got to be ready to anticipate when he goes well hopefully the team have had a word with
31:46Chan Onchu because I can tell you one thing he hasn't looked through the rule book he seems to
31:50be backing them all up nicely through the chicane he knows the score here he has been watching he's
31:55well aware and he's about to go full gas over the line he did very well there Chan Onchu he
32:00did really
32:01well he's actually pulled a few bite lengths on Kennedy there but he's right on the back of Kennedy
32:08Staplesford dropped a bit as well so he was well briefed in that but what that has done with just
32:13two
32:13laps to go we're on the penultimate lap is that has concertina most of the pack together really has it's
32:18Chan Onchu in to replace Ben Curry who leads this one from Jack Kennedy and Bayliss Bayliss on this
32:24lap here will be keen to get through yeah on Kennedy well they just yeah I'll tell you what though
32:30Onchu has put in a sector there isn't he he has yeah he's tried to gap them moving through there's

32:38Kennedy as well you do not see a pass there when you see a pass there I can't remember seeing

32:46his front and his rear is sliding everywhere Bayliss in second place he doesn't want to lose sight of
32:51channel two that's it he can see him checking out channel two boing him out came into there they
32:57come out everything's spinning up as we come up the hill for the penultimate time here comes Kennedy
33:02Bayliss was speedway style through church corner Kennedy has that inside line Stapleford's closed the gap as
33:08well oh he was expecting Kennedy to come through it's not happened we're about to start the final lap
33:13British Supersport surely it's between one of these four Onchu will lead them over the line from
33:18Bayliss from Kennedy from Stapleford yeah it's across the line it is the final lap
33:25Onchu has put it oh look at Bayliss there spinning up coming through there let's have a look Stapleford's
33:30gonna have a look up the inside of Kennedy can he do it he's going for it he's neat tiny
33:35he's gonna run wide
33:36though Kennedy will try to get that inside line ready for the right hander again here but he can't make
33:41it
33:41work that's crucial for Stapleford Watley just behind them ready to pick up the pieces Shannon
33:46Onchu it is that leads is that a big enough gap to win it well i tell you what i
33:50think it's just
33:51going to be between Bayliss and Onchu now but Bayliss is going to have to put in the perfect sector
33:56already he's actually closed that down why do you know what Stapleford's actually done quite a good job
34:02as well remember these two touched into the last corners and that allowed Stapleford to come through
34:07and pick up victory and Bayliss is having a look he told Witt he's not going to the outside he's
34:12sliding it
34:13through church corner they're all sliding it has he got enough here Stapleford's got the slipstream as
34:18well i don't think he's close enough to make a move into the chicane and Onchu's put his bike in
34:23exactly
34:23the right position it's all going to be Canadian on control on the brakes oh no it doesn't look like

34:27they're all a bit wide Bayliss there almost lost the front surely this is Chan Onchu's over the line flag
34:33out the
34:34Turkish rider wins Onchu takes it from Oli Bayliss Luke Stapleford third with Kennedy and Watley following
34:42wow well what a race and Onchu just put in a superb effort on that last lap he just gave
34:51himself
34:52enough Bayliss into church the whole thing was drifting moving and what a great race what a great race
34:59on choose done a brilliant job coming in to this unusual circuit and he's given everything he might
35:06not have any friends on track but for the fans and for people watching he's been brilliant i want to
35:12see these two at Cadwell i really do it's been so much fun having Chan Onchu in to play this
35:17weekend
35:17it's been great having Oli Bayliss in as well and i'll remind you there is a chance at the end
35:22of the
35:22season that he could take part at brand's hatch but he would need to be in with a fighting chance
35:28the championship still comfortable so Stapleford he's done well there to get a third out of that
35:32so that top five separated by 0.7 of a second Watley putting the fast lap of the race on
35:38that last lap
35:39117-0 so he still had a bit of tiring and uh that was how close it was so on
35:45to Bayliss Stapleford
35:47will be your top three and then Kennedy and Watley true love Harrison Carter Brown Tinker got ninth as
35:54well and TJ Thompson's tenth so so really but what a race again Steve yeah fantastic and Stapleford is
36:02doing what he needs to do remember third place in every race get him the title but that's just not
36:07the way British Supersport works we've got Cadwell to come we've got Assen to come another visit to
36:13Wellington and then 70 points on offer at the brand's finale i feel like it's going to go all
36:19the way and there's a few more stories to tell over the coming months in British Supersport but there's
36:24been two magnificent races in British Supersport here faster slap went to Josh Watley he's done really
36:32well this weekend nice to have him he's been superb absolute qualities look great he's raced nice been
36:38aggressive fair need really enjoyed him think he's done a quality quality job he might have been fifth
36:44but he's only 0.7 of a second off the win you know after 18 laps here is Chan on
36:51Chu then on the McCamish
36:52Yamaha entering Park Fermé the same three guys that were in Park Fermé yesterday Chan said
37:01well done well done I'm having it today he's true to his word be interesting to see here things are
37:10like uh oh there you go there you can see the relationship between him and Oli Bayliss they get
37:16along well but of course they race with each other over in World Supersport as well will there be any
37:22chit chat with Luke that's the question don't think they will
37:29I mean listen as far as Luke's concerned his job done this weekend James he'd have taken a first and
37:34a third at the start of the weekend I mean that's the point you know he's got that championship lead
37:38and at the end of the day he's only losing on Chu doesn't matter he's not in the championship
37:43you know he's only coming for this round uh Bayliss yes he's lost a few more to him so um
37:49yeah really
37:50really brilliant race
37:54so for the feature race here super sport I mean quite honestly we could have had another 20 laps of
37:59that uh Chan on Chu wins it from Oli Bayliss from Luke Stapleford with Kennedy in fourth Josh
38:05Whatley was fifth then it was Harry Truelove Dean Harrison and Carter Brown Corrie Tinker another top
38:0910. TJ Thompson did a really good job on that Karasaki as well he was 10th ahead of Oli Barth
38:14Lucas Brown Harvey Claridge Jamie Davis and Mikey Harley
38:20point standings then 55 in it Stapleford increases the advantage over Jack Kennedy Oli Bayliss 67 down
38:28at this moment in time feels like it's between those three Dean Harrison in fourth over 100 points down
38:37No Lee Johnson of course he's out injured likewise Ben Curry Jack Mahaffey's 12th overall in the championship
38:44Chan on Chu just win one visit here is 13th overall in the standings

39:03Luke Stapleford what a battle to be involved in that was um a load of you going at it at
39:08the front
39:08uh you've come away with another podium more championship points are you feeling yeah really
39:12happy with that solid weekend um i think after yesterday uh we knew we was in for a bit of
39:18a race
39:18today so uh okay it's all right saying that we don't think about the championship and all that but
39:22uh we've got to play the long game we've got a good lead now and we've got to keep scoring
39:25solid points
39:26so uh Oli won in front of us with a few points down and beating Jack yes solid weekend we
39:31got some one
39:32over on him yesterday so we've not lost points this weekend we've gained points uh i think if i got
39:36involved with a front two which i feel like i could have done i think that maybe uh that it
39:41gave me
39:41a hard time because of yesterday so uh i chose to just sit there and pick the pick the guys
39:46off
39:46one by one with uh chan and uh yeah the podium's good the guys have uh the guys have worked
39:51real
39:51hard last few rounds to get us back back on form really uh and in a position to win races
39:55the bike's
39:55faultless the bike's uh plenty good enough to win that race there but uh like i say we're thinking about
40:00points so yeah we're happy first and third this weekend move on to cadwell brilliant weekend look

40:15honestly i have to be happy with that um i'd like to say a track we've never been in but
40:20cairns also
40:21never been here so i can't use that excuse um no i felt felt not bad all weekend i haven't
40:27felt the
40:27most comfortable on the bike but half that's me on a new track uh especially on a track like this
40:32it's
40:32difficult with the tire wear so i don't know i rode my absolute butt off in that race last corner
40:39look fun uh sorry the penultimate corner church corner sideways on the way in sideways on the way
40:42through sideways on the way out talk us through that yeah i thought i i thought i lined it up
40:46perfectly at the start of the lap he had probably a good half a second but all race through that
40:51left
40:51before goodwood we were quite fast and uh i caught up to him i don't know and then he had
40:57two tents and
40:57i was like right that's it the race is done i can win it from now um easily be able
41:02to slip him down
41:03the back straight and i went into church and lost the rear then the front it gripped back up lost
41:07the front
41:07i was just like anyway i'm happy with that uh you know we kept the podium streak alive
41:14so yeah now cab well back to the normal any good at jumps no no but i've done a few
41:19laps and we were
41:19not bad so i'm not stressed see you'll be fine there mate thank you very much right then your race
41:25two winner um just congratulating to having a bit of a giggle down onto you've come to fruxton one of
41:32the
41:32most difficult circuits on the uk calendar podium in the first race and you've won the second one
41:37quite convincingly as well as a very impressive performance yeah to be honest today was a little
41:42bit more than sprint race because i come from quite really back and recovery recovery to the front was
41:49quite a little bit difficult because in this track there's a lot of slipstream spots and you know you
41:54can see end of the straight i struggle to pass the people so i try to take it very easy
41:59and go step by
42:01step and when i soon as come to the first position i was like there's only four laps to go
42:06what's going
42:06on so i enjoy a lot the race and the safety car was a little bit difficult difficult for me
42:12because i
42:12see the car was in the circuit i'm like why is this car in the circuit you know i don't
42:16know what is it
42:17and then i'm like okay safety car we have to follow and then i see the lights going off
42:22i got a little bit slow because i was thinking maybe enter and he entered so i break everyone
42:27break i just give the gas and i open the gap a little bit to win i just want to
42:31say thanks a lot
42:32to the team they did very good job and thanks to ben also to say directly that john can be
42:38very good
42:39option for replacement i'm very happy for them and i'm now very concentrated next week to test with my
