00:02so it's time for pirelli national super stock here at truxton their only race of the season
00:07slightly cooler temperatures here today as we kick off the day with the pirelli national super stock
00:14as we saw here yesterday random tire pressure checks are made on the grid ahead of a race
00:19caught a few people out in super sport it's just caught out simon reed as well he's failed a tire
00:24pressure check simon reed was set to start from six he's in pit lane so they'll be adjusting that
00:29now and seeing if they can get him out here to rejoin there he is in fact in the background
00:33david ellingham leads the way in the championship seven wins this year for the northern irishman
00:38it's 49 points up on luke mossy who had that costly crash at turn one if you remember at
00:43alton park last time out lewis rollo was on the podium he's third overall and scott swan a race
00:48winner but he's quite a bit behind in the championship that said he carries the momentum
00:53forward with him he's on pole ahead of this one it's three bmws on the front row it's an all
01:01northern irish front row as well swan allingham phillips car phillips the ulster superbike champion
01:06third on the grid ahead of matt trulof on the tag honda he was talking big earlier on about his
01:11chances to me this morning luke mossy simon reed won't be starting from six he's now got to start
01:16from the back of the grid ash barnes riding solo for rapid honda this weekend that's because declin
01:21colin unfortunately crashed has broken his wrist best wishes to him billy mcconnell is back in the
01:27cnl fairbairn properties bmw as well so we'll keep a good eye out for him as these guys then make
01:32their
01:32way around for their race 15 laps james around shruxton cooler temperatures than they faced in
01:38qualifying yesterday should be interesting yeah it always is it's a lot about trying to save a bit of
01:44that tire 15 lap race it's hard on tires around here so you've got to save a bit for those
01:49last few laps
01:50it is scott swan on pole a 15.4 and you think that's just as good as superbikes really are

01:56it will be interesting to see how they run over these 15 laps the bmw's on the front row all

02:01some good time in in qualifying yesterday luke mossy only did four laps in qualifying and heads
02:07sits there in the middle of that second row the gap where simon reed is as well we're ready to

02:11racing is 15 laps coming up for super stocks and away we go a good start from mossy actually on
02:17that
02:17second row he's using that gap where simon reed was supposed to go but it will be allingham that
02:22leads into turn one yeah allingham really just he seems to every time get that whole shot right
02:27behind him was uh oh it's going to be tight coming there phillips just slipping up the inside as well
02:32he's does he go a little bit wide on you saw swan to go back around the outside of him
02:37so it is a
02:37bmw one two three it can get a bit messy at times through here that was yellow bike the tag

02:43of matt true love thinking about a move up the inside for third luke mossy there number 12 on the
02:49malenko paget's honda is four oh god that was close through there it really is you just kind of roll

02:54through here it's all about such a fast circuit it's wide it's open lots of different fast lines
03:01undulating oh phillips almost having to go on the grass there coming underneath scott swan that's
03:07about 170 miles an hour down there and true love's gone through on him as well just unsettled him a
03:13little bit didn't it that was incredibly close i don't want to let allingham get into his stride
03:18though they certainly don't and he is as you see they're closing in a little bit of the brakes and
03:23look around the outside the bmw's there who was that this place louis rollo yeah it was
03:29took in quite a lot didn't he on the brakes there there was reed as well so it looked like
03:34reed has
03:34probably taken about 10 or 12 people on that opening lap billy mcconnell's making decent progress
03:39as well billy who goes so well here at thruxton remember on the podium in british super bikes a
03:43couple of years back he's in fifth yeah reed is up to a 19th so he's had a 11 people
03:49on that first lap
03:50as well good job from simon reed electric pace interesting lines it was yeah very very different
03:58it's one of the things as i say we really enjoy about this track in in that there are numerous
04:02fast lines which make it quite unique i mean it's a unique track anyway being so wide so fast and
04:09it
04:09really is thrilling to ride and great to watch out and it normally provides us with super racing
04:13there is number three then billy mcconnell i would say keep an eye on him i don't think you're going
04:17to need to he's going to be right in your face in a minute he is up six places on
04:22this first lap
04:22already there's mcconnell he's on lap two now some big moves being made there through church
04:27love that curb cam yeah i'll tell you what phillips is in pretty good position here has his true love
04:34just behind him just building building up here one of the bms is that rollo on the outside there
04:41mcconnell isn't it yeah it is mcconnell he's had a busy couple of laps isn't he
04:47great to see billy uh billy doing his thing he's had a busy couple of decades as billy mcconnell
04:54he looks so good on the bike and he's got the fastest lap on lap two a 16.4 then
04:59for billy mcconnell in fourth place yeah that's your pole man in sixth um
05:05change for the lead change for third phillips number 32 takes the lead the ulster super bike
05:12champion ahead of allingham true love there trying to force his way back through on billy
05:16mcconnell and they're side by side on the exit of turn five oh indeed you see the bikes just dancing
05:22and wiggling through there but uh phillips i mean we this is by far the best we've seen of him
05:28obviously he only arrived at all park here's the lead change coming up yeah nice clean move
05:35and uh same with the third spot move from billy at the front then there you see phillips leads look
05:42at that move from true love it's on every time into church it is true love on the honda he
05:48did say
05:49this morning he really felt like he was up for it he felt like he's got some good speed he's
05:53now side
05:53by side with david and look at mossy he's in on the action as well he's got that inside line
05:58he has and
05:59i'll tell you what look at that billy goes around the outside of allingham as well oh and someone
06:03that was rollo rollo dives up the inside of allingham and allingham really got beaten up there and
06:09he's probably going to get um swan up the inside of here does he yes he does swan has always
06:15struggled
06:16with race starts he's given himself a lot of work to do they are now side by side but for
06:20sixth and
06:20seventh yeah i mean at this stage in the race and swan again forces it gets back in front it
06:26doesn't
06:27really matter you just want to stay in this leading group at this point just you know try
06:30not to spin the bike too much just stay in the hunt because you're not going to win the race
06:35now
06:35but if you've got a bit of tire and that part of the race then you're picking yourself in a
06:39good
06:39position to win yeah ordinarily david allingham would not want to find himself in seventh in a
06:44race but here at truxton he might just be saying do you know what you go off you burn your
06:47tires out
06:48front this is a long race and he's shown so far this year that he can manage them wonderfully
06:54he won't want to fall too far back though from the group tell you what though billy he looks
06:58really comfortable that bmw doesn't he he does what a move from mossy on the approach to church
07:03corner the number 12 looking for his first win of the year it's been bugging him for months and he
07:08leads here at truxton yeah that's a great move for mossy and he's not going to get taken there late

07:14the brakes as well normally you see the people behind you just creep a little bit you know as you
07:19kind of
07:19break into there but mossy very very strong over the line look at this lot here this is a massive
07:27gaggle of riders it's brilliant it's it is i mean you've just got that long line of riders
07:34just behind scott swan oh dear we're gonna sam lapins has gone down the exit of the club chicane
07:41yeah he's up he's on his feet he's banged around it's always big lost his visor but great to see
07:47him uh oh he's that collarbone yeah it's uh it's gonna be what's happened there wow a couple of riders
07:55involved there's got to be they've got to touch something i'm gonna see another angle of it here
08:00what's happened oh it's that huge high side there absolutely huge oh that's horrible that is you just
08:08trying to ask so much of it back at the front it's mossy and he's got a few bike legs
08:13he is going
08:14he's just got to be slightly careful so what we got fastest lap of the race so far 116.4
08:20the lap record
08:21is a 115.8 um by uh tim lee from a few years ago but uh on that last lap
08:26mossy in 169 everyone else was
08:28in the mid 17 so he's got to be careful he doesn't ask a bit too much of it too
08:34early so desperate to win
08:36isn't he matt true love got alongside carl phillips for second but yeah true love doing a good job
08:40isn't he he's behind uh in this group worth a shout cam dixon who was absent from the last round
08:47is
08:47involved there is simon reed from the back of the grid up to 12 he's behind blaze baker and he
08:52can see
08:53the leaders yeah i'll tell you but how much time is he using james i don't know well quite a
08:58bit i've
08:58said oh there was no love lost there was there billy gets through as well he's got the inside line
09:06that was tough bit of race in there 15.7 there for mossy yeah that is a new lap record

09:15it is a couple of years ago yeah that is it too soon well you wonder you wonder certainly he's

09:21yeah he's got nine laps to go yeah unbelievable stuff here in super stock this is fascinating lap
09:29six of 15 and uh allingham quite content at the moment the championship leader to just sit there
09:35in seventh and see how this one pans out it must be tempting james when you're seeing a championship
09:40rival though disappearing up into the distance yeah it certainly is you know you've got to buy your time
09:45you've got to be patient but at the same time you can't let them get too far ahead as uh
09:50we see swan
09:51just slip up the inside of rollo there he's now behind phillips and this slot just breaking away
09:59over the line we go then it's another 16.4 he's slowed it right down yes he has
10:03mossy's lap by the way would have put him 10th on the bsb grid yeah i mean that's how good
10:08it was
10:08wasn't it but he's dropped 0.7 in a second on that last lap just you know i think he
10:13knows that's a bit
10:14that's too much and actually being that little bit cooler today there was no chance of lap records
10:19yesterday it was too hot track temperature too hot but today it's just that little bit cooler
10:23it's great for the tires great for the engines and uh two loves to close a little bit of the
10:29time
10:29they're 0.7 of a second when they cross the start finish line it's down to 0.5
10:35it is he was in eighth as well he was part of that leading group having a good race as
10:40well
10:40not a great weekend for the rapid by drive life honda team it's mossy out front from true love
10:45and mcconnell three very experienced journeymen in this paddock that lead the way ahead of philip
10:52swan rollo and allinger yeah they're just coming back to them aren't they you know that's definitely
10:57not 0.7 of a second anymore more like 0.3 so um they all kind of drop back down
11:04to that mid-16s on
11:05that last lap reed and philip so look at that also from rollo and allingham just cost them a little
11:11bit of time sometimes that though rollo just refuses to allow allingham through but he's got
11:18to let him through there into turn one yeah there was no choice there was there
11:25so lap eight of 15 it's mossy that leads looking for the first win of 2026 there is true love
11:34number four second for him number three behind him on the cnl fairburn properties bmw is billy
11:41mcconnell this is what happened to barnes earlier on we've seen this one a few times just losing the
11:46front into the complex yeah you can't have so it's mossy that leads and the malenko by patch it's
11:55honda with a bit of a gap back to matt true love and in third is billy mcconnell
12:04through church corner the lead has come now and these guys are just starting to build a gap
12:08back to the bmw of scott swan yeah and if allingham has got something in his back pocket he's probably
12:14going to have to use it soon yeah well i thought billy was going to go through there but really
12:19clever of true love he kind of just came back and just forced him to the outside put his bike
12:24in
12:24exactly the right spot this is when just when we get this point lap eight lap nine lap ten it's
12:30just
12:30when we're going to start to see the tires really starting to move so this is when you'll know who's
12:36maybe gone a little bit hard these next lap or two we're going to start seeing because these three
12:41definitely pulled that little bit now haven't they they got a second up on full place swan
12:45and billy mcconnell's looking very keen isn't he to go through it's eight tenths that gap now back to
12:50swan in fourth and it's allingham rollo and phillips that's part of your lead group behind phillips
12:54that there is cam dixon having a brilliant run out and then another gap back here to simon reid from
13:00the back of the grid who just lifts up blaze baker yeah so that is up into ninth from the
13:05back of the
13:06grid so he'll be absolutely brewing that slight fracture inside the points
13:14meanwhile out front it's still mossy that leads this one from true love it's a honda one two
13:18we've not said that i don't think at any point really all year long allingham now makes this
13:23move on rollingham rollingham rollo into the club chicane adding a new championship leader
13:28is in fit so let's have a little look so again fastest so he just did his personal best of
13:37the
13:37allingham not quite so they're all sort of mid mid-sixteens again but that leading lot of just
13:44pulled a bit haven't they this is just costing allingham it's costing him because he can't get
13:48through and can't get a clear lap because rollo won't let him no well he's got a little bit of
13:54time
13:54left if he saved a bit of that time he has been sensible and he's used his head so well
13:59it looks
13:59what's he doing there he's saying tuck in behind me and stop overtaking me yeah oh allingham
14:06goodness me that was close i take that as a no oh from david allingham that was really close
14:12that you because the thing there you couldn't even touch the brake you kind of roll it in on the
14:18throttle it's a good 120 130 mile an hour so these two just dicing away they're both getting
14:24frustrated with one another they know each other incredibly well allingham and rollo as well look
14:29allingham saying no you stick behind me a shake of the head from the championship leader as well
14:32they have raced together since superteens since aprilio 450s they've raced for ian newton the pair
14:38of them but allingham clearly frustrated there james yeah he is and phillips is uh yeah that little bit
14:44of scrappings allowed him to get back on the back of them as well in a in seventh spot so
14:48at the front
14:49we got mossy 16-4 for him a 16-3 for true love 16-2 for mcconnell 16-1 for
14:56swan he was the quickest
14:57man and just took a fraction obviously out out of them here comes billy he's late late late but he
15:03gets it turned gets it stopped oh so and i tell you what swan i reckon might be the danger
15:09man here he's
15:10done really well to sort of get back on board with these boys he was that sort of second off
15:14but now
15:15he's right on the back of them and still maintaining his pace though out front is luke mossy
15:19yeah on lap 10 and he's got that little bit of breathing space hasn't he that three four tenths
15:25let's see what billy can do it's the first time he's had sort of half a lap to try and
15:30close back
15:30in again this is where it's strong and the bmw with that really clever aerodynamics that big wing on the
15:37front you think would be a little bit more planted around here at this sort of high speed turns
15:42as you see oh look at that the bike wriggling and squirming and that's going to be swan who's going
15:48to have the really best of the slip streams here in all three of breasts coming in oh my true
15:53love
15:54there that's brilliant on the tag honda these guys though if they trip each other up too much
15:58they're going to allow mossy to head off into the distance let's see mossy's lap time over the line
16:03as well because his rear end looks like it's moving around a fair bit i'll tell you what
16:06allingham has been a nice lap in that lap as well fastest lap of his race 116.2 and he's
16:12just
16:12broken he's broken rollo he's broken phillips is it too late though i think it well we'll see what
16:19is he behind he's 2.3 seconds behind mossy i think that's going to be hard to do you know
16:24the tires
16:24are just you'll see they're just starting to work now starting to spin starting to slide but we'll
16:29keep an eye on that allingham see what he can do matt true love his fifth in the championship is
16:34in
16:34second this is the battle for third in the race it's billy mcconnell in for a play and scott swan
16:39who was on pole and then allingham again he's closed in by another couple of tensionists in the
16:42background there on the sms nickel oil bmw number 11 yeah he has and he's he's been brilliant this
16:48year allingham obviously he leads the championship he's taken seven wins the only other man to win is
16:53the man in fourth ahead of him scott swan who's taken two wins so um it would be great it
16:58looks
16:58like we are going to have a new winner and look at him sliding out there swan just slid it
17:04beautifully
17:05got such a drive and he drives past billy so he's up into third scott swan obviously he's been looking
17:12at his board i imagine as well look at allingham allingham this is going to be a quick lap from
17:16allingham maybe even the 115 something because he seems to close right in billy mcconnell i think is
17:21losing grip here number three and allingham might make light work of this and he needs to as well
17:26we're on lap 13 of 15 mossy at the moment yeah well allingham as well well allingham was a second
17:32quicker than mcconnell in third on that lap he was 0.6 for a second quicker than swan oh billy's
17:38too too
17:39hot into the complex really deep there he's lost time he's lost sight of scott swan as well yeah and
17:45this is when it's really all about time oh look at billy's you can see the black line on it

17:51it's spinning oh allingham goodness me it's a noble yeah you don't see that too much that's a
17:57very confident david allingham he's saved a bit of his tire he's been smooth he's been neat he's
18:04been intelligent and he looks like he's just got a little bit more he is you can see billy's just
18:09squirming as he comes down there allingham has not spent a race yet this year off the podium he's
18:15currently in fourth can he do anything did you see opposite lock coming out of there remember
18:21that's 140 miles an hour coming out of there brilliant stuff from swan here's allingham
18:26what can he do on the breaks here oh he's asking a lot of it pinching pinching pinching billy a
18:31little bit wide these guys might all just bunch up on the final lap you know true love has closed
18:36the gap down at the sharp end to mossy mcconnell's out of it he's his tie is gone yeah so
18:4216-16 to
18:44that i mean not a lot allingham was the quickest by a couple of tenths of that that leading four
18:48billy's tire started to go he was a 17-3 compared to roller behind him on a 16-9 so
18:54you know it really
18:55is all about tires now penultimate lap and i tell you what mossy looks like so far he's done a
19:03cracking
19:03job on the malenko by paget's honda but what can true love do in second i mean he has been
19:08gutted
19:09this year luke mossy that he's not been able to climb to the top step he'd be even more gutted
19:12if
19:12he got robbed of it now we've got a big accident here a back marker has gone down we might
19:17well see
19:17a red flag here potentially um let's wait and see in which case the race result would be declared we're
19:23on the penultimate lap as they come through that gone through the yellow flags it's david williams
19:28has crashed the team boss for nitrous competitions i hope he's okay meanwhile look at matt true love he's
19:33closed right onto the tail now of the malenko by paget's honda of luke mossy he's not sitting
19:37in one all race and the tag honda of true love has the inside line mossy was willing to give
19:43it to
19:43him but he slides through and true love takes the lead as we're about to start the final lap wow
19:48what
19:48a move by true love fantastic stuff two wonders then he's swan then he's hallingham on the bmw's behind
19:54you know we haven't had a honda one two we haven't had anyone but but well we've had one honda
19:59win that wing swan originally but uh what a ride this will be from true love if he can keep

20:05going absolutely fantastic stuff mossy's gonna throw the kitchen sink at this though he is gets a nice
20:11little sweep you can see just building his line building building who's got more time
20:19wow tell you what that cost him a bit of time though that was super close to look at scott

20:23yeah that costs oh so it is true love who leads this is a bit of bit of back markers

20:31ahead oh this is unbelievable stuff matt true love what a ride this has been he said he was up

20:35this morning he was absolutely on the money yeah this is where you've got to build this way you can't
20:39afford to let it slide too much you've got to just drive it down there and then he's into church
20:44and
20:45is he close enough i don't know if he is he's got to have the perfect drive coming out of
20:49here
20:49true love here if he doesn't lose too much time he's got this one in the bag is there going
20:53to be any
20:53change i think i might be off the podium for the first time and we're going to have another new
20:56race
20:56winner in the pirelli national superstock class if true love doesn't fluff his lines
21:01he's in too wide he sits up he's got to lose time he might get penalized he's going to get
21:08he's got to
21:09he's got to i think this is going to go the way of mossy i think he's going to get
21:12penalized over the
21:13line i do he just was so late on the brakes and he was so worried about mossy he's at
21:20his fastest
21:20lap of 16-0 on that last lap so what a shame i just think he was you've got to
21:28lose is it half a
21:29second there yeah you know oh fraser rogers there from the tag honda he's saying it's half a second
21:34i don't think he did either he just oh look both of the boys at tag honda have got their
21:41heads in
21:41their hands charlie nesbit fraser rogers they're a really good bunch so what a race so but i mean it
21:46will be we will have to wait and see because i we think he had to lose half a second
21:52he hasn't
21:53lost half well we know he's going to lose half a second i don't know if he did lose that
21:58much he
21:58didn't look like he did but it's very hard to tell judging half a second from here we'll soon know
22:03we'll we'll find out in a moment or two that's for sure but uh an absolute stonker my heart breaks
22:08for
22:09him let's have a look yeah that's just confirmation that he cut the course at the chicane so that is
22:16the man who will be looking at true love on the uh on the tag on who did a wonderful
22:21job saving a bit
22:22of tire came through looked like he timed it all perfect and then just a little bit let's have a
22:29look
22:30at this then true love so he gets on the brakes it just has to release the brakes a fraction
22:35and
22:36there's nothing he can do then he can't send it wide but he's there he had to kind of just
22:40roll
22:40and wait a little bit almost impossible to do but he didn't accelerate down there as hard as he could
22:47so
22:48i mean what they'll do is they're going to judge you know his average of that section put it in
22:54oh good to see dave williams is uh is up and okay so that looked like a big one where
23:01is this going
23:01to be this is a fast part oh that's weird oh odd that's a very weird one i wonder whether
23:07something
23:07on his tire it's a just that's strange that that is and that is so fast as well you know
23:15that's 120
23:16130 miles an hour glad he's all right me too straight back down onto his knees after that as well
23:21that's a painful one for david williams i mean time in park ferme results not confirmed it's
23:27saying on our time screen so they're a bit reluctant at the moment as to who to send
23:30yeah to park ferme so they're just not sure at the moment they're having a little uh
23:35a little suss out there's going to be four bikes there
23:43they're all having a word here to try and find out what's happening
23:46after my heart breaks here for that true love i feel so sorry for him but the rules are there
23:51and
23:51they've got to work out what's happened yeah they have we're swamped there he is there he is
23:56um because so is he the yeah
24:05they're saying it they're saying it's job done the tag honda team listen i will say this yeah
24:10when true love does actually eventually get through that she can he definitely rolls off
24:14and he doesn't accelerate hard does he and even the line the line's further down so
24:18there is a chance he could have have lost that half second he's chatting to his brother harry
24:23true love there they're all trying to work it out dad's there as well and you know as we saw
24:28when he sort of came back through he didn't as you say it's not like he kind of hit the
24:33throttle
24:33that went bang he didn't he just took his time david david allenham was speaking to mark davies
24:38there his crew chief and he's i know exactly who they're talking about they talk about lewis
24:41rollo he feels like that battle with lewis cost him the chance of victory
24:47so yeah it's uh well it's going to be a tight one it's going to be a very very tight
24:53one
24:53we know it is because normally i think he's just been told he's has he been told he's got it
24:58yeah he won anyway oh hang on a minute i can't work out what the heck is going on there
25:03isn't
25:03any decision yet lee jackson just going over there as well my point my point is you normally get these
25:08through relatively quick it's going to be a really tight call tight call that the you know the organizers
25:13are going through very very carefully great mike from rossi you know the question is is he going to be
25:19second or is he going to be first so we shall see i'd love to see their tires as well
25:29what a race
25:32so we have got confirmation number four matt truly love to drop one position because of
25:38the course cut and so also number 45 drops position because of track limits on the last lap at turn
25:4510
25:46so so that will mean that swan has to drop a place oh blimey this is confusing mossy true love
25:53allium yeah that's right yeah rossi true love allium so mossy's got his first win on the board
26:02for the malenko padgets on the team so it took us a while to get there but like firstly congratulations
26:07luke mossy everyone at the uh the malenko padgets team there's a very unhappy true love
26:13so finally we have a result here in prolly national super stock and it is going the way
26:18of luke mossy and the malenko by padgets honda ahead of matt true love who had to drop a place
26:23david allingham third because scott swan had to drop a place having exceeded track limits
26:27lewis rollo sticks in fifth mcconnell was sixth after fading late on carl phillips as well
26:33led in the early stages great job from cam dixon he's eighth ahead of josh owens
26:36and callum bay inside the top 10 points for simon reed from the back of the grid to 11th
26:42blaze baker was 12th ahead of harrison crosby dan brooks and sam cox
26:48so in the championship the gap has been cut to 44 points david allingham still takes a handsome
26:54lead into canwell park in a couple of weeks time lewis rollo still third matt true love a good day
27:00you could argue deserved more he's fourth in the championship ahead of scott swan by just a few
27:06points
27:08further down no points for ash barnes a crash for him blaze baker in the points no emily larty here
27:14today but billy mcconnell moves up to 13th overall ahead of cam dixon
27:20luke mossy it's taken a while but finally finally the win came um look like he tried to control it
27:27from
27:27the front how was the race for you what did you think when uh when matt went off at uh
27:31at the last
27:32again there yeah it was um i think i dropped back to sixth or seventh at the start and the
27:37i can't remember that in lee but they set they set such a slow pace and it was sort of
27:41too slow so
27:42i wanted to come through the field and once i got to the front i just gave it five laps
27:46and see what
27:47we could do to try to break them and i saw a 15-6 on the the dash i think
27:50it was a 15-7 in the end so
27:52we broke that record but i did try and break them and i think um yeah you know it's like
27:56around here
27:56once you're half a second behind you can just sit in that slipstream in that toe and just sort of
