00:00Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:05All right, it's time for the crossover brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:08Rest easy.
00:09We've got you covered.
00:10Bayalarm.com.
00:11Evan Giddings, Dan Devone in for Stiney and Guru.
00:13Dan Dibley, Mark Willard.
00:15What's up, guys?
00:16What's going on?
00:17Happy Monday, yeah.
00:18Oh, yeah.
00:18Happy Monday.
00:19Willard's back.
00:20A couple of days at Grandy, and we've got Dan Devone in here,
00:24so already I'm kind of on edge.
00:27I was going to say, you guys are already starting in the hallway.
00:30Where was Willard the last couple of days?
00:33Why don't you ask him?
00:34I don't know.
00:35I go through my attorney.
00:36I'm here.
00:37I'm right here.
00:38He intimidates me.
00:39I'm in the room.
00:40Can I speak through Giddings?
00:41Do you mind?
00:41Sure, absolutely.
00:42As long as it's not about the Knicks.
00:44Where were you?
00:45You have to have a Josh Hart on your team.
00:48And you said it earlier, and I was thinking about Willard.
00:51Josh Hart makes it into every show.
00:53I was going to have a live mic.
00:54Josh Hart.
00:55Can't do it.
00:56I'm not Josh Hart.
00:58I was thinking of you earlier.
01:00Oh, my God.
01:00Because I heard DeFone in the night, whatever, 12, 10.
01:03I am Josh Hart.
01:04Hey, you know what?
01:05So can we start things on a serious note now that you want to go there?
01:08Oh, no.
01:08No, no.
01:09This is serious.
01:09I hate serious.
01:11This involves me and a malady, okay?
01:13So does that change the tone here?
01:14Are you about to make an announcement?
01:17Well, yeah.
01:18So I've developed this chin lap, but I giggle every time I see this guy out of my periphery.
01:23Make sure people know you're talking about Dibley.
01:25Yes, and when I come into the crossover, or when I see you two, in all seriousness, I've
01:33developed this sort of uncontrollable, involuntary sort of tick, I guess, or almost sort of Tourette's...
01:40Nixon 5.
01:41Did you hear that?
01:42Exactly.
01:43And it's just, it overtakes, out of nowhere, this sort of, it's something I can't control.
01:52Nixon 5.
01:52I can see where you would want to...
01:54We can go from there.
01:54And you want to affix yourself to the one time you actually were correct on something?
01:58Well, hold on a second.
01:59No, no, no.
02:00Let's not go there, Jordan Poole.
02:01I got a witness right here.
02:03And do you want those two coconuts who do the morning show that had a restraining order
02:07against Trey Lance?
02:08That would be one Bonte Hill and Joe Shasky.
02:11I think he had a restraining order against them.
02:14They didn't have a restraining order against him.
02:16Oh, no.
02:16I had a...
02:16Yeah, they were...
02:17No one's a lost call.
02:18They were in for Devone.
02:19They were in his backyard.
02:20You know what pisses me off about this, Devone?
02:23What?
02:23That wasn't your prediction.
02:25I would love to...
02:26Are you seriously going to do this?
02:27You were Knicks in four.
02:30You screamed it from the mountaintops.
02:32I can produce the tape.
02:34Sweep, sweep, sweep.
02:35Sweep, sweep.
02:36It's a Knicks sweep.
02:38We're like, are you kidding?
02:39You're like, I'm not kidding.
02:40So it's a Knicks...
02:41So that's fine.
02:42Like, we've been through this.
02:44No, but let's...
02:45The Knicks.
02:45You were close.
02:46Close.
02:47Close.
02:47Close.
02:47I had the sweep, Ev.
02:50And so...
02:50By the way, the NBA season's almost here, so we can finally put this to bed.
02:53You're going to have to come up with a new pitch, too, dude.
02:56So, Willard, now, I'm a one-stick pony.
02:57We're not inviting you back during neither season if all you can say is Knicks in five.
03:02I've got one bit, all right?
03:03So, I come in and I say, the Knicks are going to sweep this thing.
03:07But he comes after me, right?
03:09Like, he's just all about when Benyama saved the all-star game and I was giggling.
03:13And he's coming after me.
03:15And he's like, you're not going to give him one game.
03:17So, at the end of just absolutely being berated, I said, all right, I'll give you a game.
03:22So, it actually was...
03:24I had him in a sweep, but he's like, you mean to tell me,
03:26you're not going to give San Antonio one game?
03:29And so, I give them the obligatory Knicks in the gentleman's sweep.
03:33So, he got talked out of a prediction and now chest-thumping it.
03:38It's an interesting play.
03:39Yeah.
03:40I respect you, Devone.
03:41We can move on and talk about something else.
03:43We could.
03:43You said you had something serious to talk about.
03:45Well, that was it.
03:46I did the bit.
03:46That didn't sound serious at all.
03:47It's his tick.
03:48The New York tick.
03:49This is what he is, right?
03:50I worked on that, actually.
03:52It didn't go over very well.
03:53I actually workshopped that.
03:55I thought it was kind of funny.
03:56You want to go back to just asking me why I was out on Thursday and Friday?
03:59Yeah.
04:00Moved a kid into college.
04:01Nice.
04:01Which, by the way, just for...
04:03This is...
04:05For me, this was one of the funniest experiences because I know I used to be this.
04:0930 years ago, this is any dude.
04:11This is who we are when we're 18, 19, and 20 years old.
04:14But when you're an adult and you go back into that realm, it is the most hilarious thing
04:19that you have ever seen.
04:20So, I am, on Thursday, in Isla Vista.
04:23For those of you who know what this is, this is...
04:26Oh, Santa Barbara.
04:28Forget your party school because it ain't got nothing on this.
04:32And so, I'm in this Melrose Place-looking apartment complex.
04:36Three floors, nothing but 19 and 20-year-olds, probably 65% of them dudes.
04:43Action.
04:44These dudes have $3,000 in DJ equipment in their apartments, but they have a fork.
04:51They don't have any paper towels.
04:53They don't have trash cans.
04:55My son's got a flat of eggs, but no pans.
04:58They have no clue how to actually function during the day, but they're thrilled.
05:05They think everything's awesome.
05:07They don't need stuff.
05:08They just need each other, too much alcohol, women to gawk at, happy.
05:15That's it.
05:15They have no clue.
05:17They're just walking around in piles of Cheez-Its.
05:20Nobody even thought of a vacuum cleaner.
05:22Doesn't even occur to them.
05:24And as an adult, it's hysterical to go in and watch this.
05:28I didn't know how to change sheets until my second semester in college.
05:31Yeah.
05:31I had no idea that's what you did.
05:32You didn't need a second pair of sheets in order to change sheets.
05:36The question I got was, we were walking through Target, was, how often should I wash my sheets?
05:43I'm like, well, you've been here for, like, once you've been here for two, three weeks,
05:48eh, I hope you've washed your sheets by then.
05:51So is Santa Barbara still regarded?
05:53Because it was Chico State, I know, used to have the top, the party school.
05:59University of Arizona was in that conversation.
06:01Santa Barbara was always in the top five, top ten.
06:04They used to have a rugby tournament there.
06:06Santa Barbara's got a different deal because there's two schools.
06:08So you've got UCSB and you've also got Santa Barbara City College, which is where my son is.
06:13He's at City College.
06:13He's at City College.
06:14So there used to be a rugby tournament.
06:16And they blend together into a mass of-
06:19It's a quarter mile of just anarchy.
06:20It's just 40,000 kids.
06:22Isla Vista is a time.
06:24What's the name of that street?
06:26We're talking about State Street.
06:27State Street.
06:28That's downtown.
06:28That goes through town.
06:30Yeah.
06:30Yeah, yeah.
06:31All right.
06:31The street in Isla Vista is Del Playa, which is the one that's on, it's literally, like,
06:36right above the water.
06:37And that's where they have, like, DP days.
06:40My son just graduated from UCSB.
06:42And, like, there's one day a year where they shut down the street and every house on the
06:46street, you have a party.
06:48And so-
06:48And Cinco de Mayo, they go off, right?
06:50Yeah, I think so.
06:50But it used to be-
06:52And Cis de Mayo.
06:53And Siete de Mayo.
06:55Yeah.
06:56Just in February.
06:57It's actually changed a little bit because of the lawlessness.
07:00For example, Halloween used to be a big thing.
07:02I know it was.
07:03Like, Chico had pioneer days, P-Week, they would call it.
07:07And, well, they had to shut that down.
07:09And Santa Barbara was known for its Halloween celebration, but now it's not any longer.
07:14Like, they basically shut down the entire Isla Vista area on Halloween.
07:18I miss it, man.
07:19It's a vibe.
07:20It is an entire experience just to walk through there.
07:23What was it like for you?
07:25I mean, like, you're just looking around going, first of all, let me help you be able to get
07:32through your day so this is, like, a little bit less gross.
07:35That's the apartment part of it.
07:37But the other side of it, you're just like, yeah, go enjoy this.
07:42Right?
07:42Let him just do it.
07:43Make your mistakes.
07:45Totally.
07:45I got a buddy who helicoptered.
07:47I don't know if you're a helicopter parent.
07:48I don't mean to go there.
07:49But he's just like his kid went to Gonzaga and is watching his kid on the phone.
07:54Oh, yeah.
07:54Or is making some monitoring.
07:55How do you do that?
07:56I don't really die.
07:57I die.
07:57Like a pussy cam in his apartment?
07:59Like, specific do I need to know where you are right now?
08:02But, no, I know parents who it's like on the first day of classes.
08:06Are they in their classroom on time?
08:09Like, I'm not.
08:09Or Friday night, I'm like, dude, let him go.
08:11Let him make those mistakes.
08:13I mean, that's how you become a well-adjusted, screwed-up human being like me.
08:16No, seriously, that's what college is.
08:18You just get in there.
08:19I think that college is obviously the education, but it's a socialization that's as important as anything else.
08:24Yeah.
08:24Right?
08:24Learning to get out of your little, you know, comfortable zone and go someplace and meet people from another world.
08:29But it's also about, like, learning that balance.
08:32And we did this on Friday for Higher or Lower.
08:35It's a game we play every week on Friday.
08:36Who won?
08:37Grandy.
08:38Grandy got the win.
08:39It was higher or lower than the number was 63 in honor of 63 years since the Martin Luther King
08:45Jr.
08:45I have a dream speech, and so every item was either a Martin, a Luther, a King, or a junior.
08:51And the junior, one of them was, how many units did I attempt in my five junior years at Cal
08:57State Northridge?
08:58And it was higher than 63, but I surely didn't pass 63 units.
09:03What counts as an attempt?
09:04When you sign up.
09:05Okay.
09:05Did you have to actually go to one of the classes?
09:08I guess.
09:08Same for one day.
09:09In theory, I mean, you sign up for it, and I looked at my transcript as I was writing the
09:13Higher or Lower,
09:14and I've got I's, U's, and W's as far as the eye can see.
09:18I was, I woke up as, like, a sophomore, and I had, like, four units to my name.
09:22And, like, the last two years, I was that guy having to take, like, 20 units a semester,
09:26go to summer school to get out on time.
09:28I was just, like, there was a bar on campus, and it was U of A.
09:32I'm like, are you kidding me?
09:33I didn't do anything.
09:35I used to play hoops down at Bear Down.
09:36I'd go to happy hour, and that was it.
09:41And that was, you know.
09:41They've got to figure it out.
09:43Yeah.
09:43Especially from the parent's standpoint.
09:45You can say whatever you want.
09:46Like, they're going to do the opposite of that.
09:48So there's nothing.
09:49They've got to go figure it out.
09:50Yeah.
09:51You know, I was proud of him after one week there, because he had met his roommates early.
09:55He's like, Dad, I knew that there'd be a lot more alcohol.
09:58I didn't know we were doing Tuesdays.
10:00I'm like, oh, yeah.
10:01He hasn't seen anything yet.
10:02No, no, no.
10:02You're doing, oh, yeah.
10:03You're doing, like, and he's like, I wasn't feeling well, so I went to bed.
10:07I'm like, good.
10:08That's one in the good column.
10:10You made a good decision on a Tuesday on your second day of school.
10:15Good job.
10:15In Tucson, you could find happy hour seven days a week.
10:20Oh, yeah?
10:20Literally.
10:21You could go to every, there were bars all over Tucson, and you would get, you know, in
10:25college, you never had any money, right?
10:27So you would go, and you would eat and drink for free.
10:31There was one of my, while I was in a fraternity, I was, you know, I was that dude for
10:36a semester.
10:36But you had to at the University of Arizona.
10:38We had this dude who worked at Chuck E. Cheese.
10:40And you know in college, you never have any money, and you're always starving, right?
10:44And so we went to Chuck E. Cheese.
10:46To think about Chuck E. Cheese, I don't know if this is still the case, but they serve beer.
10:49Right?
10:50Have you ever been to what, you know what Chuck E. Cheese is?
10:51I've been, but I don't, yeah, of course.
10:53It's the thing with the animatronic, gigantic mouse.
10:57Mouse or whatever that thing is.
10:59It used to be, like, really involved, big deal, and then they got smaller, and now I
11:02don't even know.
11:03They're not a chain anymore.
11:04I don't know if they're, I don't know how well, I don't know that Chuck E. Cheese made
11:07it through COVID.
11:08Let's be honest here.
11:09So I go, this is, we're going, it was a Saturday, and we were like, I got no food.
11:14We'd love some booze.
11:14What do we do?
11:15I used to run with these two big dudes, Rush and Tom Wilkerson, two big blonde-haired dudes
11:21from Scottsdale.
11:22And they're like, let's go to Chuck E. Cheese in Thornburn.
11:24He's working today.
11:25And he would set us up.
11:26He would give us, like, free pizza and free beer.
11:30Well, one afternoon, my man Tom Wilkerson in Rushport, we drink pitcher after pitcher, and
11:35they jumped into that little container with the balls.
11:39Oh, yeah, the ball pit.
11:40Yeah.
11:41That's made for kids about a quarter their size.
11:43Yes.
11:43And so they got so belligerent, we got thrown out of Chuck E. Cheese, right?
11:48Oh, God.
11:49And I'll never forget it, that it was such an eyesore, and the parents were like, get
11:53out of here, you belligerent kid, get out of here.
11:55And I'll never forget Tom Wilkerson and that rat, whatever it is, Chuck E. Cheese, Chuck
12:00E. Cheese.
12:00He's yelling at him through the mask.
12:03I kid you not.
12:04I kid, he laid out.
12:05He wrote the fourth wall.
12:07He laid out Chuck E. Cheese.
12:09No way.
12:09He punched Chuck E. Cheese and put him on the ground and traumatized kids forever.
12:13Tom Wilkerson.
12:14And then for years later, he lived in Scottsdale, and I had to cover the Seattle Mariners for
12:18spring training.
12:19And now he's grown up, he's respected in the community, he's got a family of three kids,
12:23and I go and I have dinner because I'm in town every year covering spring training, and
12:26he's like, Devone, tell everybody that story of like, when you punch Chuck E. Cheese, I'm
12:30like, I don't care that you're married and you have a family.
12:33I know what happened that day.
12:35And it was you, that was your father that punched out Chuck E. Cheese and traumatized
12:39like 35 different kids.
12:41Mixing five.
12:42It's a great story.
12:44It's a great story.
12:45Was that too long, wouldn't it?
12:45No.
12:46Wilkerson did one, apparently.
12:48I'm seeing five.
12:49That was a right hook.
12:49I'm seeing at least five active Chuck E. Cheeses in the Bay Area.
12:53Oh, really?
12:53Still going.
12:54It is.
12:54What on the peninsula?
12:55Still going.
12:55You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZF, MNH2 on San Francisco on Odyssey Sports Station.
13:00Always live on the free Odyssey app, and now broadcasting from the Laughing
13:02Milk Studios.
13:03Mixing five.
13:04Sorry.
13:06What's up, Evan?
13:07How are you doing?
13:07I'm doing great.
13:08Are the Washingtonians Rams the Dodgers now?
13:10No.
13:11Not at all.
13:12They just seem to keep buying guys and getting big names.
13:16I can't wait for the season to start so that everybody, like the majesty, the offseason
13:21has made this sound like the Rams are just going to go 17-0.
13:25And this is not what's going to happen.
13:27That's not football.
13:28It's not the NFL.
13:29So I think I cannot wait for the season to start because this thing is just seeming, it's
13:35taken on a life of its own.
13:37I don't even know, like, is Aaron Donald playing next week?
13:40I don't know what version of Aaron Donald is.
13:43He hasn't played in three years.
13:45He's 35 years old.
13:46But we've decided, he's prime Aaron Donald, to stick him next to a player that he's never
13:51played next to, and they're going to be the best defensive line in the history of ever
13:55right away.
13:55Maybe.
13:56I can't wait for this thing to start.
13:59I feel like we've decided that these, the Rams and Seahawks, the only time they're ever
14:04going to lose is when they play each other.
14:05Yeah, and it goes back to the whole, like, you know, the game's not played on paper.
14:10And you guys had this discussion earlier about the Philadelphia 76ers that you're really down
14:15on Devone.
14:15And I don't think that you're wrong, but you look at the names on paper and it's like,
14:20wow, that team sounds amazing.
14:22But can they play together?
14:24Who's going to play defense, et cetera?
14:25And honestly, if you look at the Rams, they are one Matthew Stafford, like, elbow or shoulder
14:31or knee, whatever, away from, like, throwing the rookie in at quarterback.
14:35So, as with any other team in the NFL, you're just one really bad break away from maybe being
14:42a disaster.
14:43I'm also not convinced that even at full health, that they are head, shoulders, knees, and toes
14:50ahead of the rest of the league.
14:51I get it.
14:52They probably got the best roster.
14:53However, they've been very good the last few years.
14:56They're very well coached.
14:57They've got a lot of answers at a lot of positions.
14:59But I don't know.
15:01This is the NFL.
15:02I just don't see teams run away with it and win 15, 16, 17 games.
15:10You just don't usually do that.
15:12Well, you never see a dream team, and there's been a few, win a Super Bowl or the odds-on
15:17favorite
15:17to win a Super Bowl.
15:19I would say that defensive front's pretty daunting.
15:22I mean, at least, again, we don't do this on paper, but that's pretty impressive.
15:28But what is Aaron Donald going to be?
15:30No, that's true.
15:31You know, honestly, like, Miles Garrett, okay, he's top whatever, all time.
15:35He's going to be a real problem.
15:37But Aaron Donald's coming off of two years of no football, so now he's just going to be
15:41plug and play and instantly get in there and get after it.
15:44That part, I don't buy, but what Willard was saying, Evan, is something that I believe.
15:49Like, yeah, you look across their roster, and they've got a lot of fancy players at many,
15:54many positions.
15:54So you have to go out there still and play, though.
15:57They're already really good.
15:58I mean, that's the other part, too, is you swap out verse for Garrett.
16:01And I mean, I don't even know if Donald comes back if he's going to start or if he's just
16:05going to be a guy that they bring in on obvious pass rush situations and how they'll
16:08integrate him and all the rest.
16:10I do kind of want to know where they just got $20 million from, though.
16:14Yeah.
16:15I mean.
16:15Well, they defer a lot of that.
16:17I mean, you can move around.
16:19The salary cap is, you know.
16:21Well, it makes me think that they knew that this was happening because I believe.
16:25Well, they for sure knew that this was happening.
16:26I believe when they signed Garrett to the extension, specifically front or backloaded so
16:32they could mix and match, and the same with McDuffie, too.
16:36They're trying to play it off like, I don't know, this is just some random
16:40thing.
16:40And, oh, Aaron is, you know, chomping at the bit to come back.
16:45And it's like, I think this has been in the works for some time, but he would only
16:49come back if he felt like this team was an Aaron Donald away from winning a Super Bowl.
16:55I'll sort of view the Aaron Donald thing as the Rams and Aaron Donald talked
16:59somewhere at the beginning, early of summer, where it's certainly around when the
17:02Miles Garrett thing goes down.
17:04And it's like, do you want to come back?
17:06And the answer is yes.
17:07And then what plays out over the next few months is, OK, let's go through the process,
17:12the workouts and everything to make sure your body doesn't react negatively.
17:17You haven't played in two years.
17:19So that's why there was always the like, we don't know.
17:22Here's one workout.
17:23We don't know.
17:24Here's another workout.
17:25We don't know.
17:26It's like, I think they've known all along.
17:27They just didn't want to say yes until they knew that his body was prepared to hold up
17:33and he felt ready to actually hit the go button at the end.
17:37But I think it's pretty clear that this was the plan all summer long.
17:41Yeah.
17:41And I mean, I think it's going to work out for him.
17:44I guess the question is, did they need him in the first place and the rich get richer?
17:49You know, it's funny.
17:49We spent the last hour or so of the show talking about what Steph's choice is this this offseason
17:55with his extension date over the weekend.
17:58And now they can figure out what they want to do.
18:00But it's like that is what people want for Steph, for him to just walk into a situation
18:07where there's help around him, where he can be great sometimes, but not pressurized to feel
18:14like he has to carry everything.
18:15Like Aaron Donald is in the exact situation that people want for Steph Curry.
18:22And it obviously isn't the case, but I was just thinking about it like in a perfect world.
18:28Yeah.
18:28Could you just drop Steph into a great spot where he doesn't have to be Miles Garrett?
18:33It's called San Antonio.
18:35Or Boston.
18:36Right.
18:36But does he want that?
18:38And I heard you earlier talking about, you know.
18:40Thanks for listening to the show.
18:41It's I mean, I'm stuck in traffic.
18:43There's something to rip you for.
18:44I was going to say.
18:44I mean, he rips himself.
18:47Whatever.
18:47He punched Chuck E. Cheese.
18:49See, come on.
18:50That's exactly what it is I'm trying to guard against.
18:52I talked to Wilkerson.
18:54We revised that story.
18:54I talked to Susan.
18:55I would never hit Chuck E. Cheese, for crying out loud.
18:58Right.
18:58And if you did, with those little arms, Chuck E. Cheese probably wouldn't even go down.
19:02It's a pretty demented looking mascot, if we're going to be honest.
19:05I think it's a rat.
19:06Like who decides that this is going to be.
19:09You know there's a difference between a mouse and a rat, right?
19:12Chuck E. Cheese is not a rat.
19:13He's a mouse.
19:14You're sure about that?
19:15I'm pretty sure.
19:16I think they want him to be a mouse.
19:18You want to know how paella came about?
19:20Like a rat.
19:21The dish?
19:22Yeah.
19:23Tell me.
19:24It was the Spaniards, initially.
19:26Right?
19:27This is great.
19:28This is some great stuff here.
19:29The impoverished, basically sort of the farmers, in order to sort of survive.
19:33A lot of the best, like ceviche, some of the best pizza.
19:36This, by the way, is what we get into every Saturday.
19:38It all comes about from, you know, sort of the impoverished people.
19:41But they initially would throw, you know what a paella is, though, right?
19:45Yes, Dan.
19:45So they would throw everything, including rodents.
19:48Oh, wow.
19:48Into this big pot, right?
19:50And so it got, as the Spaniards and the more educated and affluent people, began to cultivate
19:55the culture.
19:56They got rid of the rodents and replaced it with the chicken and what have you.
19:59But it started at its origin, at its base, as being something that they just threw everything
20:04in a pot so that they can basically survive.
20:06Don't you love it when two people have a debate and they're both right?
20:11He's a mouse and a rat?
20:13Ready for the answer?
20:14Chuck E. Cheese is a mouse.
20:19However, he spent the first part of his life as a rat.
20:24There are eras to this from 1977 to 1993.
20:29What is going on here?
20:30That was the rat era.
20:31I'm leaving.
20:31Chuck E. Cheese first opened with Chuck E. as a wisecracking, streetwise rat from New
20:38Jersey.
20:38For the love of God.
20:40But in 1993, in an effort to be more kid-friendly, the character was officially redefined as a mouse
20:48and given a softer, happier look.
20:51And in 2012, it is when he was totally revamped into the slim, lost some weight, went on a diet,
20:58guitar-playing rock star mouse that you see up to the present moment.
21:03And what they left out was, of course, another turning point was when, in Tucson, back in
21:081900, Dan Devone punched the rat in the face.
21:12That's not what happened.
21:12That's not what happened.
21:13And they had to turn it into a mouse.
21:14And it leads us to our bigger question.
21:15Is Dan Devone ever wrong in the crossover?
21:18And I'll answer that for you.
21:21He was way righter than you were.
21:23He's a rat.
21:24He's not a rat.
21:25I needed to see rat in the definition.
21:27Two for two today.
21:28Dib said he is a mouse, and he is.
21:31You would have been correct if you had said he was a rat.
21:34He was a rat or a rat.
21:35Rat was part of the definition of who this stupid thing was.
21:39Yeah, until you punched the rat right out of him.
21:40Never happened.
21:41I would never punch Chuck E. Cheese unless I was.
21:45Do they still serve beer at Chuck E. Cheese?
21:47Come on, man.
21:47They do.
21:48I actually saw something on social media that apparently when they, you know, you get X out
21:52of the bar, usually they'll just cross something on your arm.
21:55Apparently, there's a piece of paper they'll slip you at Chuck E. Cheese that just says,
22:01please leave, essentially.
22:03Oh, wow.
22:05All right.
22:06What do you got?
22:06Instead of slipping you a Mickey, they slip you a piece of paper.
22:09Well, I guess they don't want to make it a scene in front of a bunch of the kids.
22:12That's exactly it.
22:12They don't want to literally throw people out.
22:14I think this goes back to Wilkerson.
22:15Yeah.
22:16So, Wilkerson apparently set the stage for what's to come, and these X out cards that
22:21they will just hand you politely and say, sir, can you please leave right now?
22:25Well, I guess the alcohol's there for the parents, right?
22:27For dad, who's got to suffer through.
22:29What do you mean you guess?
22:29It's not there for the seven-year-olds.
22:31Well, I'm just saying, why would it be there at all, right?
22:34Like, you know, it's got to be there for people like Willard who's got to put through
22:37these stupid things.
22:38Because you've never...
22:39Let's drink.
22:40Yeah.
22:40You've never done a kid's birthday party.
22:42Don't look dibs in the eye.
22:43He just had this over the weekend.
22:44Yeah.
22:45At Chuck E. Cheese?
22:45It's not fun.
22:46No.
22:46Fresh off a birthday.
22:47My daughter turned four.
22:49Nice.
22:50Dibs half in the bag?
22:50Half in the bag?
22:52You want to go ahead and boost that up a little bit.
22:54Man, I woke up Sunday with a headache.
22:56Really?
22:56I thought you were kind of...
22:58Like some sort of a teetotaler?
23:00No, thank you.
23:00A teetotaler.
23:02Oh, it worked its way into the conversation.
23:04Bone in Tucson knocking out a mascot.
23:07It's not...
23:07Seriously, please don't do that, man.
23:09Well, I do know what won't be coming up from two to six.
23:11Nixon five.
23:12On 95.7.
23:13Oh, man!
23:14That game.
23:14High note.
23:15He's a rat!
