00:00Why do they call Burr, Burr? Why? Because he looked like a burr?
00:02Let's welcome in Sergio Garcia.
00:05Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:11Time for the crossover.
00:13Brought to you by Bay Alarm. Rest easy. We've got you covered.
00:16Bayalarm.com. Let's welcome in Willard and Dibs to the show.
00:19The fellas.
00:20Hey, guys.
00:21What's going on?
00:22Hello.
00:23Hello.
00:25Hubie Brown.
00:26Exactly.
00:26How are we doing?
00:28Bryce Harper.
00:29Burr. That was incredible.
00:30Good to see you back today, buddy.
00:32And thank you, too, because I said you guys checked on me yesterday.
00:35I appreciate that.
00:36And Randy usually does, too.
00:37He didn't.
00:38Well, you checked on me late, Stiney.
00:40And got ghosted.
00:40Yeah.
00:41And got ghosted.
00:41Yeah.
00:43No, I got nothing.
00:44I said you guys do something this morning.
00:46Right.
00:47But yesterday was like a hot summer in Texas where you hear the cicadas and the crickets.
00:51It's like, man, a lot going on out there.
00:53I don't hear Guru, but I hear cheep, cheep, cheep.
00:56I opened up my phone and a gif of a tumbleweed rolled through my phone.
01:02That's crazy.
01:03I was getting shocked with nerve tests.
01:05They had your boy hooked up like Frankenstein, man.
01:07Must have gone all the way late into the evening, I guess.
01:09No, about 3.30.
01:103.45.
01:11Oh, yeah.
01:11Boy.
01:11Yeah.
01:12And I was only here until 6, but, I mean, that's okay.
01:14But we're glad you're doing better.
01:16Thank you, man.
01:16Uh, Guru's obviously, uh, got a second and third opinion, um, about his, his nerve and
01:24his arm, right?
01:25And, and, and, and all, all three doctors, you're just, all three doctors just doing the
01:30Nick Bosa, well, shrugged shoulders.
01:34I don't know.
01:35I can't, I can't find any there.
01:39No, I'm glad you're back.
01:40I told you it was going to get back.
01:41Everything I've said has been right on the money.
01:44Oh, because now you're the radio doctor.
01:46No.
01:47Well, he was predicting surgery through the neck.
01:49He had exactly what I had.
01:51Except he's not going to have to have surgery.
01:53Steiner, you did, you gave the answer that all men give.
01:56That's right.
01:57It's fine.
01:58It's fine.
01:59Rub dirt on it.
02:00Whatever, dude, you're fine.
02:01I knew it was going to get better.
02:03Yeah.
02:04Like, I did know that.
02:05Can I get, can I just bring something up?
02:07It's not Friday.
02:07It's not what's bugging me, but dibs.
02:10Will, you guys been around, Steiner.
02:12When you have a good friend or good friends that are not friends with another person, but
02:19you are, that fair foul or how does that, you know what I mean?
02:23Like, let's say you didn't like somebody that we both know.
02:26You have a friend.
02:27Right, right.
02:28Yeah.
02:28And then you have another friend that that first friend doesn't like.
02:31Right.
02:31Oh.
02:32What is it?
02:32I mean, sure.
02:33It's fair.
02:33What are you asking though?
02:34Like, can you all like.
02:35Like, I'm not out of bounds.
02:36Like, you got to lead your life.
02:37Oh, are you allowed to still hold that friend?
02:40I'm sure as I am, but that other person can't get mad at me, right?
02:44It depends on like what is going to happen.
02:47So like, for example, you guys do the cafeteria on Friday.
02:49So if you guys go there and you invite somebody along on Friday that you know Steiner doesn't
02:55like, that's out of bounds.
02:57No, that never happened.
02:58Yeah.
02:58I mean, that to me would be OB.
03:01I'm trying to think who like that is.
03:02It's like in real life who that, well, I know.
03:06Did the mad friend, did the other friend do something directly to him or they just don't
03:11like their vibe?
03:12They just don't like their vibe?
03:13I don't know.
03:13I don't know.
03:14I was, I didn't know about it.
03:15That's their problem.
03:16Okay.
03:16All right.
03:17But if you're like going behind their back because that dude like slept with his girl
03:21or something like that.
03:22None of that.
03:23That's different.
03:23Yeah.
03:23All right.
03:24So I'm okay.
03:25You're fine.
03:26Pick your friends.
03:26I'm okay.
03:27You're okay as long as you don't inject this person knowingly that like your other friend
03:32doesn't like them.
03:34So if it's just a casual, like, Hey, there's going to be, you know, like Freedman's, for
03:38example, we're going to Freedman's and there's going to be 28 people that we all know, like
03:43people are allowed to go there and maybe you don't like somebody or he doesn't like somebody,
03:47but that's open season.
03:48If you intentionally bring somebody to a function, knowing full well that like Steiner or me, we
03:54don't like them, then that now is a problem.
03:57No doubt.
03:58Well, the other thing is if you bring them to Freedman's, they'll have a choice to go
04:01among 45 working vignettes.
04:04I love it.
04:05So you could absolutely get away from that person.
04:07You could actually be at Freedman's for two hours and not see somebody who was at Freedman's
04:12for two hours.
04:13Amazing.
04:14That sounds like a perfect party.
04:16Yeah.
04:16You started to turn into a real host.
04:18Like that was a great chance for you to like live working vignettes and you could have
04:22dropped a milo or a wolf or like all the rest of it.
04:25Fisher and Paykel.
04:26I see.
04:27You're getting there.
04:28You're finally fitting in, Steiner.
04:2918 years in.
04:30Yeah.
04:30Good job.
04:31He's getting there.
04:31He didn't say real host.
04:34That hurts.
04:35He said traditional.
04:37I said real.
04:38Oh, okay.
04:39It's better when you say real.
04:41Yes.
04:41They were my words when we did 50 weeks of COVID, the three of us, and then we did one
04:47week together and then, you know, I was clearly like the third wheel and here comes old fire
04:53house subs to the rescue.
04:55I didn't tell you this.
04:56Just real quick.
04:56I got to tell you, we come back from COVID and the shows are all meeting with the sales
05:00staff.
05:01So about a good 15 to 18 people.
05:03So I'll go up there with my man that he is introducing us.
05:07And you know, Stiney's the one.
05:08He starts it off.
05:09The show works because I'm, he's black.
05:11I'm white.
05:13And there was some black people in the audience and they looking like, dude, are you working?
05:18I said, I never felt you want to get away.
05:21But that's what he said.
05:22The show, in his Stiney voice, it works.
05:25He's black.
05:26I'm white.
05:27I said to myself, not a bad thing.
05:29Beam me up, Scott.
05:30Somebody called Oreos right away.
05:31I hope.
05:32Your show has diversity.
05:34It's wonderful.
05:34I said, did he really?
05:35That's a good thing.
05:37Yeah.
05:37I mean, it's true, right?
05:39I'm pretty sure.
05:40He's something else, boy.
05:41Go get him, Will.
05:42Okay.
05:43Oh, boy.
05:44Here we go.
05:44I got teeth today.
05:46All right.
05:46You said something.
05:48And so you are now under investigation.
05:50I say a lot.
05:51Let's see.
05:52You, guru, you might be a podzist.
05:57It's possible.
05:58Are you accusing him of podzism?
06:00You're not convicted yet.
06:01Okay.
06:03But we're putting you on trial.
06:05What did I?
06:06Okay.
06:06Go ahead.
06:07Oh, I know.
06:08I think I know now.
06:08You said, as I was about five minutes from the station, with complete clarity, like there
06:16was no, like, nobody would disagree with this.
06:18Yeah, gotcha.
06:19Obviously, when D'Anthony Melton is healthy, he's a better basketball player than Brandon
06:24Pajamski.
06:25I was, I was standing on that.
06:27So what I did was I tried to take my opinion out of it and I decided to do a
06:34dibs deep dive.
06:36That's a start.
06:37All right.
06:37Give it to me.
06:38And I'd like for you to find evidence for your statement.
06:42It's the eye test.
06:43Okay.
06:44Yeah.
06:45That's a cop out.
06:46Right.
06:46No.
06:46That's a complete.
06:46You can't refute that though.
06:48Okay.
06:48But that's not really evidence.
06:50Like in a court of law, if somebody was just like, well, I like this person.
06:55So they're not guilty.
06:56I guess, Will, judging D'Anthony Melton without doing the deep dive, just again, the best test
07:02for the goo is the eye test.
07:05What I've seen from D'Anthony Melton, just the whole package, I would give him the nod
07:11over pods as a total all-around basketball player.
07:13You like Thundercats.
07:15Yeah.
07:16But he's not a Thundercat.
07:18No, but he's more athletic.
07:20He could create smoother at creating his own shot, getting a bucket.
07:23Okay.
07:24Yeah.
07:24He gets fewer buckets.
07:26Yeah, because it's been all bad for him here lately.
07:28No, no, no.
07:29These are career numbers.
07:31Never in his life has he averaged more than 12.3 points per game.
07:36Pods has never averaged under 12 and a half.
07:38And in fact, last year averaged over 17.
07:41Now, I get where you're going, but I would say put Melton, early Melton on the Warrior team,
07:46playing with Steph, Dre, and this system, then that would change.
07:50But let's go around the room real quick, and I'm not running from the charge.
07:54I got pods at 13.8 last year.
07:57Who would you draft if you had dibs, Melton, or pods?
08:01Pods.
08:02Who would you take?
08:03I'd take pods.
08:04Stoddy, that's your answer, too?
08:06I'm sorry.
08:07I was looking at per 36.
08:08Yeah.
08:08Stoddy, that's your answer?
08:10But he averaged 14 a game.
08:1113.8.
08:12Pods or Melton?
08:13Pods.
08:16I mean, points per game.
08:18Where's availability in this conversation?
08:20And that's where it's all.
08:21That's why it was predicated on.
08:23So, DeAnthony is three percentage points higher on free throws?
08:28Let me ask you this.
08:30You know, you got to give it to me.
08:31Do you see a scenario to where Melton's starting over pods this upcoming?
08:35I don't think it's going to happen at all.
08:37Sure, but I don't get obsessed with who starts.
08:40Stoddy said the same.
08:41Who has been and I think will continue to be a more important player for the Warriors is pods.
08:47And I put a quarter on his name.
08:48I say he's getting 4-400.
08:50That's what I believe the Warriors view him.
08:53That feels hot, but you can do right.
08:54A little rich.
08:55That feels a little hot.
08:5622.
08:56Let's go 4-488.
08:58I think 20.
08:59Like, they love pods is my point.
09:00The whole premise and all of that.
09:02But they're businessmen.
09:03Love doesn't come into it.
09:04But he's earned it.
09:06He has earned it, man.
09:07I don't know what that means.
09:11Like, you're...
09:11Pod has been good in their eyes.
09:13They've raised him.
09:14They've given him a lot early.
09:16He's made them.
09:17And he's taken advantage of every opportunity.
09:19Is he flawless?
09:21No.
09:21Well, no one is.
09:22But a new contract is coming his way.
09:24Sure.
09:24And I think he will be the starting one this season.
09:26But I don't think that's how a basketball team assesses a contract.
09:30I don't think they look at whether he's...
09:32No, it's not a contract.
09:32It's a player.
09:33Sure.
09:33But I don't...
09:35Like, they're not going to do 22 because they're like, we really dig him and he's earned it.
09:39It's like, no.
09:39What's your leverage?
09:42What are you going to sign?
09:44And what...
09:45You know, what are your comps around the league?
09:47You guys were doing the comps around the league.
09:49And that's where I went the other way.
09:50I got a U-turn.
09:51Yeah.
09:51But some of those were old contracts.
09:55You can't...
09:56When you say four for a hundred, my immediate thought is, you cannot pay pods twice as much
10:04as you're paying Moses Moody.
10:05Yeah, that's hot.
10:06You just can't do that.
10:08And think about what's awfully hot.
10:10And if you're pods, what's your leverage?
10:13You're going to go play another 82 games and risk injury when someone is putting life,
10:19like, confirming money in front of you.
10:21And those numbers and players he read that were...
10:23I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
10:24So, like, is he going to play hardball if the number is 19?
10:28Why would he do that?
10:29Yeah.
10:29I think that'd be...
10:30You know what I mean?
10:30If I was his agent, I'd be like, we're good.
10:32We're good.
10:33Four years, 19 million a year.
10:35The other thing is, I don't know what the mid-level is, but what was it this year?
10:39Like 13 or something?
10:40Yep.
10:41Okay, so, you know, if you're his agent, Bill Duffy, you can't take less than 15 to 17.
10:48Because you can just say, fine, we'll go out on the market and we'll get a mid-level.
10:51So, it's going to have to be a little higher than 16, I think.
10:56But I don't think it can get much north of 20.
10:58You know, the funny thing I thought is that, you know, we were just talking about pods.
11:01I'm not saying you're wrong.
11:02He was just like, you'd be like, well, pods is a starter.
11:04No, he's not.
11:05He's not a starter.
11:07He might be.
11:07But he started, what I'm saying is, he started less than half his games as a pro.
11:12And I think we can all acknowledge he would have started a lot less if they wouldn't have been hurt
11:17the last three years.
11:18So, all I'm saying is, you can't be throwing around, you know, that kind of money if he's coming off
11:25the bench.
11:26Which I don't think he will be.
11:27Well, I mean, again, is he starting?
11:30Is he finishing?
11:31Is he playing all 82 like last year?
11:33Then probably.
11:34Then it doesn't even matter.
11:35To me, Stiney, the more money you pay him on the average annual value, the more likely it is he
11:41gets traded.
11:42And I'm thinking about the Jordan Poole reality, which was four years and 128.
11:46And it was, yeah, get that bag.
11:48I mean, he got the bag.
11:50And then he got the luggage.
11:51And he got the flight.
11:53And he was gone.
11:54So, I'm not saying they're going to look to do the same thing with pods.
11:57But if that number turns out to be higher than what we actually think, that to me is a signal
12:02that they're looking to trade him.
12:03That's actually a great point.
12:04And that's why I think he'll probably end up a little north of 20.
12:08Because, like, remember that was the Draymond Green contract.
12:13The 25 that you needed to be in on everything.
12:16Well, Draymond's going to go away at 25.
12:18Or, you know, he's at 27.
12:20So, yeah, they're going to need a player to be making between 20 and 25.
12:24But for no other reason than to aggregate.
12:26If they need to make a move.
12:27I mean, that may well be the number.
12:29I also think, though, like, who sets the culture with the Warriors?
12:32We all know that answer.
12:34And you're at a space and time where this person just took less money in order to create flexibility.
12:40I do think pods is in a completely different point in his career.
12:44Gotcha.
12:44But I think that puts a little pressure on you to be aware of the team situation.
12:49Don't go grab Steph's money that he just gave back.
12:52Like, that's kind of for the market, not for you.
12:56But, yeah.
12:57And they got to open tonight to do something or it's next season.
13:0119th, right?
13:01Isn't that the deadline?
13:02The day before the opener.
13:03Yeah.
13:04And so, if you're pods and it's, you know, you're thinking, I deserve four and 100 and they offer you
13:08four and 85.
13:10Well, you're so young that you go ahead and take, in my opinion, you take the four and the 85,
13:14thinking about what happened to Kaminga, where Kaminga played the whole thing out.
13:18I'm going to play on the qualifying offer.
13:20And then he didn't.
13:21And he got one year.
13:22And then now he is, you know, making a lot less.
13:24And so, I don't know.
13:26A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
13:27And if you're pods and he's, what, 24?
13:30About to be 24.
13:31And so, like, you have a long time in your career to make more.
13:35The only thing I can, if he is silently on the inside, so triggered by the way that the fan
13:44base treats him.
13:45And he doesn't want to be here, then I could see him, and I doubt this.
13:50I don't think you play with this many millions of dollars over your emotions.
13:54But if he does want to play out restricted free agency because he actually would like to play somewhere else,
14:00then maybe that goes that way.
14:04Problem with restricted free agency is it's restricted free agency.
14:08Correct.
14:08And it doesn't usually work out for the player.
14:11It sure doesn't.
14:11You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM, and HD1 San Francisco, and Odyssey Sports Station.
14:16Always live on the free Odyssey app and now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
14:21Yeah, we had a, I don't want to say emotional discussion a couple days ago.
14:25It was about pods and the booing.
14:26I thought it subsided last year.
14:29He told you on our show that, you know, I know what time it is.
14:33He's reiterated that.
14:34But Stine thought or said, I'm paraphrasing, that the front office would be, there would be some trepidation about signing
14:43him because of his relationship with the fans.
14:46And I like to fall out, fell out my chair like, hell no.
14:49And we've heard, you know, some F, Sabian talk about we listen to the fans to a degree.
14:55But if you like a guy and he's getting the job done in your eyes, I don't think the pod
15:01booing is to that point to where every time he's got the ball, Chase Center's booing him.
15:05I don't think that would affect me giving him some money to stay.
15:09I think you're mostly right, but it's not great.
15:11It's not ideal.
15:13Like, sports figures are not here to be not liked by their own fan base.
15:18So that's a given.
15:19I mean.
15:20You're calling it that.
15:21He's not liked.
15:22Well, I just think it's part of the equation.
15:24Yeah.
15:25Um, I'll say this.
15:27I heard his press conference and I don't know what more you want him to do.
15:33Okay.
15:33He said, he said some things he shouldn't have said or whatever.
15:38He said, he's going to try to shut up and play what, whatever it is.
15:42But now I do think we're at a, we're at a pivotal point.
15:46If the vitriol stays the same or gets better after this start of this year, then we do have a
15:54problem.
15:55Yep.
15:55I mean, what, what do you, what, what are you going to boo him?
15:58Because he said he wanted to be as good as Steph Curry six years ago?
16:01The whole thing makes no sense.
16:03It, it, it's, it's honestly, it, it's ridiculous the way that this is playing out.
16:08It's media day this week.
16:09Steph Curry's playful with Ann Killian over expectations.
16:13Draymond Green does his two and three minute answers.
16:16Super thoughtful about everything.
16:18Yaxel's the most playful guy in the room.
16:20Brandon cuts his hair, never smiles and sort of says, I promise I'm not going to speak anymore.
16:26Good God.
16:27Like this, it's, it's DOA and I, it's so, it's sad.
16:32It's sad.
16:33That's the way I view it.
16:34It's super, like he made some very innocuous mistakes.
16:38I'll admit that they're mistakes, but the punishment has not fit the crime with this guy from the beginning.
16:44It's crazy to me.
16:45And will we hold Yaxel and the board to the same sort of a standard?
16:49Because he's come in and been maybe not as braggadocious about Steph Curry, but he comes in talking about how,
16:55you know, he's ready to do this and do that.
16:57And so I wonder if we'll hold him to the same standard.
17:00No.
17:01Right.
17:02No, everyone's excited about him.
17:03Nobody's probably a way better player.
17:07At least you hope.
17:07And the, you know, the other thing is the reason I think what happens with pods is pivotal is because
17:12yes, he does remind me of Mike Dunleavy when Mike Dunleavy was a player here and the first three years,
17:18four years weren't good.
17:19And then he signed a contract extension and it got no better.
17:24And then he eventually had to move him.
17:26It's like they, he, he can't sign a contract extension and things get worse.
17:32Like that's, that's not a recipe for, for success for the player or the, the situation.
17:40I just, you know, I wish I could tell this to pods off the air, but I know he didn't
17:45arrive when Kaminga arrived.
17:48Kaminga was first, but don't tell me the fans, cause I'm one of them.
17:52There is no residue of how pods hit the scene, got his leash, led the team in plus minus in
18:00his rookie season.
18:01And then when people were emotionally attached to Kaminga and all of it was about, why does he get taken
18:08out when he makes a bad pass or mess up?
18:10You can't tell me I didn't live too long that, that it felt like pods was getting different type of
18:17rope or being dealt with different, which didn't help pods.
18:21But it was coming from a fan perspective on how they thought Kaminga was getting jobbed.
18:26And there's a correlation there to me.
18:28It's the oddest thing of all time that anyone would.
18:31How is it his fault?
18:31Why would you go out into the world thinking everybody gets treated the same?
18:35Why, and why did that only, why did that only apply to him?
18:39Can I bring up the color component to it?
18:41Of course that's a component.
18:43Guy Santos played as a young player.
18:45Mike, I don't know what, why, who on earth does sports where you're like, you treated him like this.
18:52You had to treat everybody this.
18:53What are we talking about?
18:55Who does sports that way?
18:57Like, Jordan rules, like it is real.
19:00Jordan Watkins was a rookie receiver and then a second year receiver and he can't even be active.
19:05Stribbling led the team in snaps his first series of his life in another country.
19:10How come you didn't treat Jordan Watkins that way?
19:12Because the other player's better.
19:13Trent Williams will never practice on Wednesday ever again.
19:16Or Thursday for that matter.
19:18I mean.
19:18If he doesn't want to.
19:19You know what?
19:20On Friday, if he wants to show up, whatever, Trent.
19:23Just, I mean, do you know when the game is?
19:25Cool and stuff.
19:26We'll see you then.
19:27So, everybody is treated differently in every business all across our great country.
19:33Shanahan doesn't even talk to the kicker.
19:35He doesn't even know his name.
19:37Right?
19:38I mean.
19:39Unless he wants to call him out.
19:40He was going to give Eddie Panera the game ball and stuff, but he missed two PATs and stuff.
19:44Well, I'll say this, but when I leave here, the lesson is this is somewhat of a thing for pods
19:48and the team looking at the relationship or lack of with the fan base.
19:55And I'm not saying they're not going to give him a contract extension.
19:58I'm not saying that you said it.
20:00Like, I'd be shocked if it's never come up between, among Dunleavy, Kerr, and Lacob.
20:07Like, is it ever changeable?
20:09I think it is.
20:11Is there any way that, like, he is just applauded by the whole arena someday?
20:16I know that this isn't everybody.
20:18This is not everybody.
20:19But it's clearly, it's enough of a percentage where he can get booed at a Giants game.
20:24You know what, though?
20:25I forgot that one.
20:28I've noticed less of it at the actual games.
20:32Right.
20:32Because the radio hurts, you know, hits him.
20:36They hit him at the Giants game.
20:38I guess it gets lost maybe more at the arena with a lot of other stuff going on.
20:43But no, that's what I mean.
20:44Like, he needs to sign the contract, if he gets a contract extension, sign the contract extension,
20:49and then put together, like, 20 really good games where he helps him win, and he keeps his mouth shut,
20:55and then it'll start to turn in the other way.
20:58I think about Rafi Devers.
21:00I think it's unfair for me to, I'm sorry, I think it's unfair for me to say, and he keeps
21:02his mouth shut.
21:03Like, he's not.
21:04No, I agree with that.
21:05He needs to string 20 good games.
21:07Like, can he have a couple bad ones in there?
21:10Like, I don't know.
21:12Look at his plus-minus throughout his career.
21:13Like, his plus-minus is among the best in the entire association, which means when he's out there,
21:20oh, and he gets to play with Steph and Draymond, I get that.
21:22But even when he's not, like, when he's on the court, his team tends to do well.
21:27And I can't help but think about the Rafi Devers, like, full 180 this year where, you know,
21:32you're loafing, you don't run out this, and we're stuck with you for seven years.
21:36And it was like, oh, my God, for three weeks, you are Barry Bonds meets Babe Ruth,
21:41and so now everybody's tune changed.
21:43We didn't talk about this.
21:44Like, that press conference yesterday, like, it's a takeaway that wasn't so much used in words.
21:50Yes.
21:51They are in on Rafi Devers.
21:54And I was probably off on that a couple months ago in some of the conversations that we've had,
21:58and obviously he hit the cover off the ball every day since then.
22:02But they are very excited about Rafi both on and off the field.
22:08So no rebuild.
22:10Well, a soft reset.
22:13No, and a job share with him and Bryce.
22:14Like, it's going to be first base DH, DH first base.
22:18They're going to share it.
22:18They think they can navigate that, at least for now.
22:21They think they can navigate it.
22:22I don't think that would be the hardest thing to sell to either player.
22:26It sounded to me, if I got Tony's answer on that correct,
22:31you don't need to sell Bryce on anything.
22:32That kid is just wired correctly.
22:36Good parenting.
22:38Devers is the one who really wants to be out there every day,
22:42but they'll sell him on moving into the second half of your career,
22:46and this will help keep you fresh.
22:49And then maybe my favorite thing Tony said is,
22:51I'm not really trying to keep him happy.
22:53We're trying to keep him good.
22:56What time's Cosell?
22:58315.
22:59All right.
23:01I've got to listen today because I've got to work on his impression.
23:05I'm going to break that out at some point.
23:06I like that.
23:07That's exciting.
23:07We're going to get a healthy dose of what we saw,
23:10but also like Denver.
23:12Because for me, Denver is one of those like,
23:14they're a dandruff team.
23:16They're a head scratcher.
23:17Yeah.
23:18They're hard to figure.
23:19That's up my alley.
23:21I haven't heard it either before.
23:23I made that up.
23:24You in and out or Bo Nix before we go?
23:26He just asked me.
23:28First half or second half?
23:30I'm in on him in the second half.
23:31I'm out on him in the first.
23:32They don't throw the ball.
23:34Until they have to.
23:36Right.
23:36And then they do it well.
23:38I like what Slareth told us yesterday.
23:40He's a young quarterback.
23:42He, Caleb Williams, and some others around the league are still really good off script,
23:46but they suck on script.
23:48So that's why he's better in the second half because they fall behind,
23:50and then they're just like, go freak out, and he's good.
23:53I would say I like him.
23:56He made the playoffs as a rookie.
23:58He made the playoffs as a second-year player and won a game.
24:01They really felt his absence in that playoff game.
24:05They lost 2-1 this year.
24:09He's building a solid career, it looks like to me.
24:13So far, so good.
24:14On 95-7 the game.
24:15He's no purdy.
24:16He's building a solid game.
