00:09so here as you can see I have a document and let's say I want to protect it but
00:14not with a password so in that case I can use something called a watermark in
00:18order to add in a watermark I can go into edit PDF right here and over here
00:23on the toolbar you see that watermark is an option so you can add a watermark over
00:30here we can update and remove a watermark so let me add a watermark so
00:34once I click add you can see that there are options that is visible to you one
00:39is you can use text as a watermark other is a file the file has to be in PDF
00:44format if you used wish to use a graphics as a watermark so I'm going to use text
00:48now and I'm going to type in tututube just like this and you can see how the
00:54watermark appears over here and you can apply watermark to only single piece or
00:59all of the pages just like this so I'm going to choose font as a real itself
01:04size is going to be something like 18 let's try that out that's quite small so
01:09I can increase the size up to 72 right here and if I want to go even further I
01:14can type in the number of the size and it'll appear over here so for the so for
01:21the color over here you can go over here and choose the color of your choice so
01:25let's say I'm choosing red you can left align the watermark center align or
01:30right align it according to how you want it so if I have lesser if you have this
01:34smaller size and if I have multiple line text you'll see this in effect so if I
01:39have multiple lines text like this you can see over here let me just increase the
01:43size of it something to like 22 and you can see that it is right line now if I
01:49were to go over here it is left align and center line I'm just going to leave
01:53it into tututube and let's say I want to have 100 as my font size so I'm going to
01:57leave it as add 100 and press enter there you go so once I do that you can see
02:03over here that I can go for rotation so usually watermarks have a rotation so I
02:07can have minus 45 degrees or 45 degrees and I can even have custom degrees right
02:13here and enter my value so let's say for something like over here 52 degrees
02:19right here or maybe 70 degrees and it'll rotate it accordingly I can control the
02:24opacity as well so I can bring it down or bring it up just like this so I can
02:28bring it down and bring it up I can also scale to respective target page so if I
02:37the target page right here so I can say something like 90% press enter and it
02:42covers up the 90% of the entire page it's like that I can let it appear on the top
02:48of the page which is the well which is actually suggested or I can make it appear
02:56behind page as well so in this case yeah you don't actually see the picture
03:01because the text and the graphics are covering the page so I'm going to give it
03:05add appear on top of the piece once you do that you can also go to appearance
03:09options and over here you can see that it is checked on so in printing and so in
03:15displaying on screen so if you really want to protect and let's say prevent the
03:20document from being printing you can actually just disable this so when
03:24displaying on screen so it won't show up when the you when the viewer actually
03:28opens up the PDF file but only shows up when it actually prints up and usually I
03:34like to give it both ways just like this you can also keep the position and size
03:38of watermark text constant when printing on different page sizes as well which is
03:43something I'd like to have so even if the page sizes are different the
03:46consistency is there so besides that you can also have a vertical distance right
03:51here so you can have something like 0.5 press enter so it goes up and
03:56horizontal distance as well so 0.5 inches right there and there you go it goes a bit
04:01to the right or left so this is from the center and if you choose from the top
04:05it calculates the top area and choose from the right calculates from the right
04:10area but let me just leave it to center just like this and press 0 and 0 right
04:17there so this one as well 0 alright so once you do that you can see that
04:22that's the watermark and if I want to apply it now I can simply press apply to
04:27multiple pages I'm going to select this and I'm going to press ok so I'm going
04:33to I can also save this to the original file or I can save the file to a
04:40different page itself so I am going to keep the original file name itself press
04:45ok and I want to overwrite it so you can see that the page has watermark now just
04:51like this so you have the watermark right there now if you want to edit or remove the
04:56watermark you have an option for that too in order to do that I'm going to go
05:01into watermark and over here I can choose update so once you do that you get
05:06the updated file itself so let's say I want to change the text into something
05:10like blue so I'm going to click on blue right here press ok and it'll be updated
05:16accordingly just like that and if you want to remove the watermark you can
05:19actually go over here and click on remove so are you sure you want to
05:23permanently remove the watermark I'm going to say yes and it'll remove the
05:27watermark as you can see right here so that is how you can add and remove the
05:31text watermark so let's talk about the file watermark so I'm going to add in a
05:36watermark again and in this case let's choose file so over here I'm going to
05:41click on browse and over here there are some files that I can choose from as you
05:46can see right over here so let me see the thumbnail views so that I can get an
05:52idea of what I'm keeping as a watermark as you can see over here so you can use
05:56any image file or something but it only supports PDF as you can see also the
06:02apz as well if you want to use that as a watermark right there the suggested you
06:06keep it everything in PDF so over here you can see that book let's say I want to
06:10use book as a watermark let me open that out and you can see that the watermark is
06:14here so I can scale this out so let's say I want to this is absolute scale right
06:21there so let's say I want to scale this at around 90% right there and there you
06:29go that's my watermark I so I can reduce the opacity and there you go you can see
06:33that there's the watermark let me use JPEC as a watermark now so I'm going to
06:37click on browse and I'm going to go on to my Tututube Drive right here and let's
06:42select let me use this as a watermark let's press open so there you go the
06:46Tututube logo is there that's the watermark right there let me just rotate
06:49this around I'm not going to keep this at 90% but around 60% right there and I'm
06:57going to rotate this around around 45 degrees right here minus 45 degrees
07:02apply to multiple pieces that's okay keep the original file name place it and there
07:08you go that's the watermark called Tututube on top of my piece so that protects
07:12it from being printed just like that so that is how you can use a text and
07:18pictorial watermark inside of your files by using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC hope you
