00:05He was patient. His patience was awesome. We talk a lot about patience versus press, and a lot of young
00:10guys typically struggle with that because they just want to go now.
00:13But what he did, he worked it, and he stopped his feet, and to me it was a nice throw
00:18to judge where he's going and lead him and let him go make the play.
00:21Then you went right back on that first drive, and he threw it to him, and he kind of lost
00:26the contested ball,
00:27and then you went right back to him on almost the same play. I think that was a third and
00:32fourth team.
00:32He had the same defense, same look. Pitch called a great call, and to me that's where the ball was
00:37supposed to go.
00:38Let him go do his thing, and he did it.
00:40But what did you see from him on that? Why was it supposed to go to him?
00:43Just the way the coverage. I had options to go to either. Well, the first one, it was a call
00:47for him.
00:48The second one was options to go either side. To me, corner game was the same look.
00:53I don't see no reason why not to go at it again. He missed the first one, he'll get the

01:03How do you come out and perform so well when you don't get a lot of reps?
01:08For me personally, myself, it's all God, man. I'm grateful.
01:15Because my whole career has kind of been like this.
01:20If you're a man of the faith or have any relationship with God, the things he put us through is
01:24for a reason.
01:25And now I'm 40, I can look back at things I was going through at 22 that's helping me now
01:31in how I prepare, how I understand the reps might not be there for me,
01:36but how there's other ways that I can still have opportunities to just bring a comp to yourself to go
01:40out there and play confidently.
01:41And so for me, that's just all a gratitude to God because he kept nudging on me to say, like,
01:47you know, this might be what it is for you, but there's a will, there's a way.
01:52And my whole career has kind of just been like, you've got to get it out the mud.
01:55And that's just kind of what it is.
01:56And now I'm just kind of used to it.
01:57Did you do anything tonight that impressed yourself at 40?

02:04I think it's always good to go out there and show you can still make it.
02:09In this business, people want to put labels on you and put tags on you.
02:13Everybody thinks they have the right answers.
02:16And to me, like I said earlier, the one person I know has the answers is the man above.
02:21And for me, when I wake up with opportunity, that means purposeful.
02:24And so the purpose for me is to go out there and do whatever my God of ability allowed me

02:30I might not be able to take it to the house no more, but I can still make plays and
02:33move the chains.
02:34And then just went with my mind, allow these guys to be great at what they do, make plays.
