00:00What were your biggest takeaways, Joe, of the defense and how it allowed you to play complementary football?
00:05Yeah, I mean, four turnovers, you're going to win a lot of football games if you get four turnovers.
00:09And we got to be able to capitalize on them a little bit more.
00:12We had, I think, two touchdowns and two field goals off of them.
00:17So we got to get that fixed, but it was a good one.
00:20You said you were excited to watch this defense before you got into the season.
00:23What was it like to see them do what they did today?
00:24Yeah, pressure was there.
00:26Guys sticky in coverage, making a lot of plays.
00:28Because I'm sure they have some things that they want to fix just like we do and get back in

00:32What does it do for you all to see this kind of performance from your defense this early?
00:36You've known where you all want to go.

00:39Yeah, it's great.
00:40But, you know, just like I said earlier, we got a lot of room to improve and we're going to

01:13Yeah, I mean, that keeps guys fresh.
01:15When you have eight guys that you feel great about going in there and making plays and performing well and

01:20that makes their job a lot easier.
01:22Obviously, today was a Mike G day, but it was Mike.

02:22So going out and getting a win feels great, but we just got to keep it rolling.

02:41Yeah, it was great.

03:19Yeah, it was great to see the work come in and come and execute in those situations.

04:34I know you talked about the interception, but how did you think you played overall?
04:37Yeah, if I didn't have that interception, I'm feeling great walking out of here.
04:40You can't make plays like that, so I got to get that fixed.
04:43But, you know, offensive line was pretty lights out.
04:45I thought we ran the ball well in spots, and, you know, I got the ball to my guys in
04:50space pretty quickly.

04:52After the pick, you found Gusecki on the next drive for a big first down.

04:57How big was that to respond right there?
04:59Yeah, Mike's going to find space.

05:09So, you know, we responded, loved to get a touchdown there, but we got points and made it tough on

06:08I'm not surprised about any of those guys.

06:14You know, just like I said earlier, I'm sure there's some that a lot of those guys want back just
06:18like we do.
06:18But, you know, we got the right guys that are going to learn from their mistakes and keep getting burned.
