00:09All you can do is evaluate the reps that you get and grow and learn from it.

00:20I think it was a couple of years ago you said there is an advantage to that
00:24to some degree to get you ready for the season,
00:26but today it's taken an extra hit.
00:28Was that frustrating for you?
00:30You can get your feet wet.

00:35How important was it to get under center?
00:37You guys under center, 7 of 13 plays with you.
00:39Yeah, we're working to get better in all facets,
00:42that certainly being one of them and adding that to our system
00:47and see where it can take us.
00:49How do you feel like the under center stuff has gone so far?
00:51How would you evaluate?
00:52Some good, some bad.
00:53You know, we can, just like everywhere, we can get better.
00:57Does it change for all 11?
00:59I think everybody focuses on you, Lecker Center,
01:02because you're physically moving,
01:03but how much does it impact the offensive line,
01:06receivers, tight ends in general?
01:10Receivers and tight ends, I'm not sure that, you know, too much,
01:13but offensive line quarterback running back certainly does.
01:16A big part of preseason, Joe, obviously, is getting system down, communication down.
01:21Is that a significant part of what you need to accomplish in a game?
01:25Yeah, getting the operation, getting some reps of real game-like operation
01:30is certainly beneficial.
01:32Getting the play in, getting the subs in, being down on the clock,
01:36knowing when to send the motions, you know, that's beneficial.
01:40How much does a game like tonight make you want to get out there and play again
01:43in the preseason?
01:44You got thought to wanting to get back out there in another preseason game?
01:48Yeah, Dex and I were talking about that.
01:50And, you know, once you go through warm-ups, once you're out there,
01:54you, you know, you get warm, you get into the flow,
01:56and then you just kind of want to stay out there, keep going.
02:01You know, that's not, that's not where we're at, but, you know,
02:05as a player, you want to be out there playing.
02:07Do you want to keep playing the next couple games?
02:09Like, do you want to get those asses?
02:11If that's what we decide, then I'm happy to do it.
02:13Can you get more might be the wrong word,
02:17but the work you get in a joint practice versus at a night late tonight,
02:20where it is the minute in here on the field for 13 plays.
02:23Can you get more work, I know it's a lot of ways,
02:25more quality work in a joint practice?
02:27It's different. It's different.
02:29But any time it's live bullets, you know,
02:32there's going to be a lot of benefit from that.
02:35But, you know, getting a bunch of reps against another team
02:40in a practice setting is beneficial too.
02:44You know, those are always difficult because you're not game planning
02:47and you're running plays, you know,
02:49against a system that you probably wouldn't be running in an actual game week.
02:54But anybody stand out to you tonight,
02:56whether when you were out there or just watching?
02:59Uh, 81, Dante looked really good.
03:03He's looked good all camp.

03:06You know, the near catch that Noah made down there in the red zone was impressive.
03:12He's made plays like that all training camp as well.
03:16Those are the two that kind of pop out at you immediately.
03:19What stands out most about Dante, just over the past month?
03:23Number one, he just loves ball.
03:28Uh, you know, I was, the week before training camp, we, I texted him, I was like,
03:32hey, are you in town?
03:33He's like, I can be.
03:36And I was like, can you be here tomorrow at 11?
03:38He's like, yeah.
03:39Come to find out he drove from Atlanta that night to be there to throw the next day.
03:43That's the kind of guy that he is.
03:44He's at a great camp.
03:46He's quick, shifty, understands what we're trying to do.
03:49Um, you know, he's played a lot in the CFL, so, you know, he comes over here and hasn't
03:56played a lot in the NFL, but he's, he's got a lot of reps under his belt.
04:00And, uh, he's a guy that we've, we've seen a lot out of.
04:05Is that a name that strikes you about 84?
04:08Andres, anything, is anything striking about him?
04:11Yeah, Jack, uh, you know, he made, he made one good play today on the, on the sham route.
04:19He made a couple guys miss.
04:21You know, he's got a great feel for the game.
04:23Reminds me a lot of Tanner in that way.
04:25Um, the more he sees it, the more he'll be able to, um, you know, create that feel quicker
04:33and more efficiently.

05:10So, I don't necessarily have too many thoughts at this time.

05:23Has there ever been a conversation where you remember about any of your issues?
05:26Or, like, have you ever thought about that?

05:29Um, yeah, they told me that they, they wouldn't use it again.
