01:51This is Hunter Lawrence's opportunity.
01:53Yeah, you're talking about a rider who's resilient.
01:55I mean, what he went through last weekend,
01:57it's just emotionally, it's a lot.

02:12Looking down at the running order, Jet Lawrence's 17th.

02:16That's how bad that start was.
02:18Oh, Hunter squares up.
02:19Deegan and shoots by to the lead.
02:21Nice move by Hunter Lawrence.
02:23And maybe that's one of the benefits of him taking that parade lap.
02:26You wouldn't know that outside was probably a little bit better.
02:29Hayden didn't.
02:29And the 96th is back up front where he's been at most of the time this year.
02:34Now explain to the other end why if you're Deegan
02:36or Jet Lawrence why you would not have taken that sight lap.
02:39Yeah, well, one of the things is they have the luxury now
02:42being able to watch the broadcast.
02:43So I'm sure they watched that 250 class,
02:45understand that the tracks get better.
02:47They knew they were going to do a little bit of work.
02:48So it's a lot different than what it was.
02:50So, hey, you don't take it.
02:52You try to keep the mud off the bike so it doesn't get weighed down,
02:55hopefully get a better start,
02:56which he was able to do and Jet wasn't.
03:01One lap down and Hunter Lawrence's mission
03:03to get back into the points lead, doing what he needs to do.
03:06He leads.
03:07Jet Lawrence is way back.
03:09Hunter would actually have the points lead right now,
03:11but you know Jet's going to do some work
03:13and will cover it with this parts unlimited battle box.
03:16He is still in 17th.
03:19I know we got a long ways to go,
03:21but I mean, with all this,
03:23Hunter has the points lead the way it runs right now.
03:25As you said, it's going to change.
03:27But you've got to love the way these guys love the way
03:30Hunter's responding.
03:31And look at Hayden Deegan now understanding where the lines is.
03:34And because the track isn't that rough,
03:36and just like that 250 class,
03:37I think the way this track is going to keep these guys closer together.
03:41Hayden Deegan, he's smelling like he wants to put some guys in a danger zone.
03:45This is Jet battling it out with Guillo.
03:49And this is going to be tough.
03:51He's back out of the points.
03:54He's actually back to 22nd place.
03:56He lost five spots.
03:58Yeah, earlier when I said he was in 17th,
04:01I know he got a bad start,
04:02but I actually thought he was a little bit farther up.
04:04So I don't know if there was a mistake
04:05or if that was generally a bad start.
04:07But for him going backwards now,
04:09he must have fell or got caught up somewhere.
04:12Well, remember, he didn't take the sight lap either.
04:14So he had a bad start,
04:15and he was probably feeling his way around in traffic.
04:18Yeah, for him, that 10-point lead,
04:19he understands that, hey, you know what?
04:21It's a long race.
04:22I don't want to throw it away.
04:23But sometimes when you do that,
04:25it puts you in these kind of scenarios.
04:27And we talk about it every weekend.
04:29This might be a bad track to be on that,
04:31but he's going to have to do it.
04:33And we've got him highlighted here.
04:34Jet Lawrence gets in.
04:38Yeah, he was on the inside.
04:40That's where Kitchen was when he got penalized.
04:42Now, it wasn't nearly as far.
04:44Oh, and then he has a collision.
04:46That's what cost him.
04:47A collision in turn one on the very left.
04:50Is that Ferrandez?
04:52Yeah, I'm not sure who that is.
04:54And because these guys, that 180,
04:56they did a little bit of work,
04:57it's very slippery.
04:58So guys are coming out of that corner,
04:59trying to get on the gas.
05:00The rear end breaks loose,
05:01and he ends up catching Jet Lawrence.
05:04But obviously, there was something else that happened
05:06because when we called it earlier,
05:07he was in 17th.
05:09Now he's down to 21st.
05:11And Lawrence Elyse almost knocks the champ over.
05:15Jet completes that pass.
05:21And that is 20th.
05:25And there's chaos all around right now.
05:27Yeah, that was some chaos right there.
05:29Vince Freeze goes down, and he gets past JT.
05:32Well, the toughest part of this for Jet Lawrence is,
05:34one, he's not riding like typical Jet Lawrence,
05:37but two, there's really nowhere for him to go.
05:39The track is so unwinded in traffic,
05:41he simply doesn't have other areas to go around
05:43because if he gets out of the main line,
05:45he gets into that soft, muddy area,
05:47and he can't make moves.
05:48So once he clears some of these guys
05:50and able to pick up the pace,
05:51maybe he can start to close some of these guys back down.
05:54But right now, the gap between he and the top 10
05:57is really far, guys.
05:59Like, he has lost a ton of time on these first two laps.
06:02Yeah, and you're talking about going back to that 250 class.
06:05That's what I was explaining with Levi.
06:07And imagine not having any goggles.
06:09And the track's a lot better than what it was
06:11in that 250 class.
06:12So Jet Lawrence has got a long ways.
06:14But we talked about it today when I was saying
06:17because of the way this track is,
06:19guys, the field separates really quickly.
06:21And what you're seeing is Jet Lawrence,
06:23he's running 18th,
06:25but he's 38 seconds behind the leader.
06:27And normally at a normal racetrack,
06:29he wouldn't be that near that far back.
06:31But because of Bud's Creek
06:32and how difficult is the pass with the Bud,
06:35he's nine seconds a lap slower
06:36than what the leader's pace is.
06:40Bad time to get a rare bad start
06:42for the two-time champion.
06:45And now we hear the AMA
06:46is looking into Lawrence's start.
06:48He makes a quick move on Chambers.
06:51That'll move him to 17th,
06:53which is where he was earlier.
06:55But could there be a penalty coming?
06:56We will stay on top of that.
06:58Hunter Lawrence has pulled clear of Deegan
07:00by about three seconds.
07:01Tomac holding strong in third.

07:05Then Barsha, Plessinger, Marchbanks.

07:13Yeah, he's about 14 seconds
07:18behind 10th place here.
07:19So he's got a long ways to go,
07:22but he's got plenty of time to do it.
07:23As you can start to see,
07:24there's nobody in front of him.
07:26Rare to be that this early in the moto,
07:29be 18th,
07:29and there's really nobody in front of you.

07:33And then Hunter Lawrence stretching it.
07:403.7 seconds is the lead over Deegan.
07:45And Hunter, what a rebound.
07:47Remember, he had the heartbreaking Supercross,
07:49came right back to win the Pro Motocross opener,
07:51right back up front today.
07:53And this guy's back in the front, Pat.
07:55Pat, the legend, the four-time champion.
07:57It has been a rough return from injury this summer
08:00for the Red Bull KTM of Eli Tomac,
08:02but he's in podium spot,
08:03and he's not letting Deegan go.
08:05I love what I see from him.
08:07And we saw a little bit of glimpses of Eli Tomac
08:09at first moto last weekend at Unadilla,
08:12being able to run inside the top 10.
08:13It looked solid.
08:14And because the way this track is,
08:17I actually think it's going to help a guy like Eli
08:19keep Hayden Deegan.
08:21He sees Hayden Deegan in front of him.
08:22The track's difficult.
08:24It's been over a year since he's been up in this position,
08:26and this crowd loves these two,
08:29Hayden Deegan and Eli Tomac running top three.
08:31That was a battle I was afraid we were never going to get to see
08:33because of Deegan moved up to the 450s at round one,
08:37and Tomac got hurt in the very first lap of that race.
08:40But it looks like Tomac is getting back toward his old form,
08:43and we might have a battle
08:46between a man who's dominated this class for years
08:49and the next big graduate into it.
08:52Yeah, and make no mistake,
08:55this guy you're seeing on the screen,
08:56you give him a little belief,
08:58he's able to close in on,
08:59hey, Deegan, this is Eli Tomac,
09:01people, one of the greatest riders ever
09:03in this field,
09:04and especially in motocross,
09:05as we're watching Jet Lawrence on the bottom right here,
09:09close that gap on those guys,
09:10he's not able to hit this uphill triple,
09:12but now he's starting to see those people
09:14in front of them,
09:15and every point from here on out is one point.
09:18Every pass, it'll be one point.
09:21Up to 16th is Jet.
09:24He's going to need to make up nine more positions
09:27to get back to a tie with Hunter in the standings.
09:30Hunter right now would be the point leader.
09:33By nine.
09:34So Jet's got a lot of work to do.
09:38Yeah, we're talking about the 250 class going on break.
09:41The question was,
09:42would they have these huge point swings?
09:45And it's like the 450 class just inherited that scenario.
09:50You're talking about 25-point difference
09:52between the last couple of motors between these guys.

09:55Jet Lawrence makes another pass.

10:02Certainly familiar with this track.
10:03This is at one of the states nearby.
10:06And Jet is able to clear him around the outside.
10:12And that is 15th for the champion.
10:15He's in a tough spot right now.
10:18Yeah, I think we might have lost Beaton behind it
10:21because it looks like he's running 14th on the live timing.
10:24We saw Yamaha that Jet got by,
10:26got stuck on the inside of that corner.
10:28That might have been beaten.
10:29It was actually the Australian National Motocross champ
10:33coming in here and riding with the Lords.
10:34It's during the week while he's in America.
10:36But of course,
10:37the big story is the brothers battling for this title.
10:40Here's Jet's thoughts on it.
10:43Yeah, because most of the year it's been me chasing Hunter.
10:47It's been different, but it's been good.
10:49I don't think I've won it any other way.
10:52Battling my brother for a championship is pretty awesome.
10:57That has always been their motto.
10:58Yeah, I mean,
11:00I don't know if he has much of a choice.
11:01That's how good the Vogue brothers are.
11:03They're just the best.
11:04But you saw that little wave that Dylan Brandis' Jet gave him.
11:08Thank you, no forget my will.
11:11Yeah, he did, James.
11:13Just listening to that sound from Jet there
11:15doesn't quite kind of tell the full story
11:16of how it is for these two battling each other.
11:19And they get asked a lot of times,
11:21obviously, what's it like battling your brother,
11:23racing your brother?
11:23Well, they don't know any different.
11:25This is what they have done their entire lives.
11:27I got to talk to Dazzy, their father,
11:30earlier on yesterday.
11:31And he said, look, this is what we've always done.
11:33These boys have been doing this their whole life.
11:35We've basically learned that if we can go one, two,
11:39that is a win for both of them
11:41because there is only one top set.
11:44Only one of them can stand on it.
11:45So we can't ever have this massive celebration
11:47because there's always somebody getting second.
11:50So they've just adjusted to it.
11:52This is what they've done their entire racing career.
11:55Yes, it's challenging for all involved.
11:57It's challenging for the team.
11:58It's challenging for their families
12:00because they're going up against each other.
12:01But that strong bond that you talked about, you guys,
12:05when you're talking about their brothers first,
12:07that ties them together.
12:08That's about upbringing.
12:10Dazzy said, that is how we have always been.
12:12That's how we always will be.
12:13You will always be brothers.
12:14And it's just a strong bond that keeps a family together.
12:17They ride as a unit.
12:20Heck, we've seen them jump on each other's bikes
12:23both at home and then on a press day before the races
12:26just to try each other's setups.
12:28But right now, they are title rivals.
12:29And Jett is now up to 12th.
12:33Hunter has pulled a four-second lead over Deegan,
12:35who's up by three and a half over Tomac.
12:37Lawrence working on Mitchell Harrison here.
12:40Yeah, but, you know, his pace that Jett has,
12:42you know, he was 10 seconds down
12:44or 12 seconds down a lap ago on Malcolm,
12:48a little bit farther back than that.
12:49But he's going eight seconds a lap faster than these guys.
12:52So you're talking about somebody
12:53who's making a lot of time up,
12:54but got to be careful.
12:56Inside of Harrison.
12:57Harrison wants points.
12:58You see, he's on the bubble there
12:59to be automatically into the Vodos at the SMX playoffs.
13:03Battling with Justin Hill,
13:04who does not race pro Vodocross.
13:06So if Harrison can score a few points,
13:08that would guarantee him in.
13:10He wouldn't have to race the wild card races.
13:12At the playoffs.
13:13So all these riders have goals.
13:16But as we did see Christian Craig take a look over,
13:18we saw Miranda's take a look over.
13:20It's like a few of them are showing respect
13:22to the guys that are in the championship fight.
13:24Yeah, absolutely.
13:25I mean, it's the same thing with most of the class.
13:27Except for when you get around teammates,
13:29you know, the other rider,
13:30then they might not make it as easy.
13:31But the cream rises to the top
13:32and they guys understand
13:33guys going eight seconds faster
13:35than you.
13:36Probably be a little easier.

13:49For a North Carolina native,
13:50this is considered a home race.
13:52I saw his mom and dad back in the races.
13:54You don't see that all the time
13:55with Coop any longer.
13:56But they got great memories here at Bud's.
13:59So he's running well.

14:02Barsha.
14:03The Troili Designs, Red Bull, Ducati,
14:05and the Monster Energy, Kawasaki, and March Banks.
14:08March Banks has been almost an automatic top five
14:11a lot of this year.
14:13Barsha's going to try to stop that.

14:41Yeah, I just can't say enough about the riding March Banks
14:43this summer.
14:44He has been rock solid.
14:45No, you can tell.
14:47And you can tell also the team's making the bike better,
14:50you know, continuing, and it takes a lot of hard work
14:53from all these guys.
14:54And Garrett's paying it off, top fives.
14:56Even Mark Vinnisat, these guys I hear.

15:01James, talking at Garrett earlier on today,
15:04I was getting that you said the bike's gotten a lot better.
15:06They've made a ton of progress.
15:07So I said, what's been the biggest difference maker?
15:10What has made this season a success that it has been?
15:14And he pointed to a new relationship that he has
15:16with a sports psychologist who's been working with these
15:19sessions earlier on in the year.
15:21He said he's always kind of had this problem of sort of like
15:24high nerves and anxiety on race day.
15:26And the biggest thing was just saying, hey,
15:29I know I've got to try and fix this part of it.
15:31Because it's not something that's massively talked about, James,
15:33through this sport.
15:34But Garrett's saying that it has made that much difference to him
15:38that he feels like a different athlete on race day now.
15:41And he said that, obviously, along with all the work that the team
15:44has been putting in has just led to those top fives that you talked about.
15:49No, that's good to see.
15:50I mean, it just shows you at this level,
15:52you've got to work on all parts of your body.
15:55And the hard part is, I mean, all these guys are talented.
15:57It really does come down to mentality and how you think.
16:01And Garrett's, whatever he's doing, he's working.
16:03Glad to see the team has success as he has success.
16:05Moving around Cooper Webb from fourth position.
16:10Well, there it is.
16:11Fifth place for March Banks.
16:12Like I said, you can almost snap it before the moto begins.
16:15He'll find a way to get there.
16:16So he's around and made quick work of Webb there.

16:35Again, another rider Malcolm understands.
16:38Jets in the championship just makes it a little easier on him.
16:41And, you know, again, I think if Malcolm or any of these guys are up to pace, then it might
16:45be they won't make it so easy.
16:47But when you know a guy's coming up that fast, he's moving forward, all you can do is try to
16:52get on that tail.
16:53And you just don't want to get in the way at this moment.
16:56And look, I just feel bad for Malcolm who says he's mud races.
16:59Does a number on the hair.
17:00And a lot of work at the end of the day here.
17:03It's just a concern in these mud races.
17:05Although, I've got to say, not as bad as you would have thought for how much rain we had earlier
17:10to watch Hunter Lawrence work his way through lap traffic.
17:13But Hayden Deegan has taken that gap down to just 1.4 seconds.
17:20Yeah, I'm thinking Hunter has gotten caught up.
17:22Because I was looking at the lap times and Hayden was about a second and a half a lap ago.
17:27Then it went out to three.
17:28But you can see why.
17:30Hunter's getting caught up with these lap riders.
17:32And it's easier for the guy in second place if you catch him in the right spot.
17:36As they take a look over, they'll understand Hunter's there.
17:39They'll take another look and see Hayden.
17:41And they'll continue moving over.
17:43So, I don't know if he got through him.
17:45But Hayden Deegan, let's see if he gets through him as well.

17:48Well, Hayden's hustling right now.

17:55We had a battle for the lead.
17:57Oh, Deegan almost got taken down by that lap rider.
18:03So, the story right now, of course, Hunter tried to make up for the error last week.
18:08We asked him about this season and those ups and downs yesterday.
18:16I don't know if you'd say lessons.
18:17There's things I still don't understand 100%.
18:20I feel like my kind of things that I could improve on is, I mean, what I feel like are
18:28really small mistakes have seemed to be the most costly for me, which is a bit of a bummer, given
18:34the mistakes, in my opinion, not being necessarily massive errors on my side of things, riding side.
18:42But the consequences have been drastic, honestly.
18:47So, yeah, that's about it.
18:49But just probably put it behind me, learn to get up, shake it off, look forward, and not think about
18:56it in the past and just kind of carry on.
18:59That's probably what I'd take into the playoffs.
19:03Yeah, that's a tough position for Hunter to be in because he hasn't really made – it's easier if you
19:11make – let's say you just make a mistake.
19:12Oh, I was just going too fast and all this.
19:14But kind of his crashes this year have been so costly.
19:18There are things that can happen 10 times a lap, you know, essentially.
19:21And for him, they cost him a lot.
19:25You see that radiated strout on the left-hand side of the motorcycle is hanging off.
19:29I don't know if he got caught up with something, but hopefully for him, not catching his boot as he
19:34throws his foot out there, really slowing him down.
19:37But I tell you one thing, hey, Deegan, he is feeling it right now.
19:41Yeah, he's not slowing down, although he almost has to.
19:43Ruffles ran into the back of the lap rider, JT, 38, on the move.
19:47He is really coming, guys.
19:48And this is probably the closest he's been.
19:50And I don't have the stats in front of me, but this late in a moto, this is the closest
19:54and most relevant he has been all season.
19:56And I wonder if this track would be a big part of that.
19:58When you look at Bud's Creek and what it rewards, you can be hyper-aggressive on this track.
20:03You see Hayden maybe overriding the situation, but that's what he wants to do.
20:07He wants to ride as hard as the track will allow you to.
20:10A track like Unigila won't let you get away with that type of thing.
20:14It will punish that.
20:15Bud's Creek rewards it, and I think that's why you're seeing Hayden able to fight this late in the moto.
20:20You heard it last week.
20:21Yeah, absolutely, JT.
20:22I agree, and I think the fact that the track's wet and it's not that rough, there's a certain pace
20:28that you can run here.
20:30And Hayden, clearly, he's feeling good today.
20:32He's looked good.
20:33He's the fastest qualifier.
20:34And he said earlier, like, he's not in a championship, so he's run really loose.
20:38You're seeing the improvements, but also you're seeing a guy who smells the opportunity.
20:43And these fans here at Bud's Creek are going to be behind the 38 to see if he can do
20:47something with them.
20:58Down to the final third of this one.
21:00Ten minutes and two laps to go.
21:02Deegan looking forward.
21:04Wants a piece of Hunter Lawrence.
21:10And he is slinging some mud right now.

21:17Yes, he went seven seconds faster than Harrop last time around to catch the runner in ninth.
21:25Yeah, that's crazy to be, like, seven seconds just to get ninth.
21:29You know, at this point, he's going that much faster.
21:31That just shows you how spread out the leaders are.
21:36He needs to make three more passes to get back for a tie for the point lead.

21:53Deegan just cleared the lock traffic.

22:43So, I'd imagine a mistake for Tomac.
22:44He has lost a toe.
22:47Deegan hasn't.
22:49He's going all out.
22:51Yeah, you can see Hunter starting to stretch that gap out a little bit.
22:54And I'm really kind of wondering about that radiator shroud, JT.
22:59Yeah, I wonder if it's maybe just taking his eye off the ball a little bit.

23:04He's been making up a lot of time at the bottom of Henry Hill here.
23:08He's been going to this inside.
23:09And Hunter's been going outside.
23:11You'll see him close back up every single lap.
23:13He's probably making up at least half a second there.
23:15And it's those little sections of the racetrack that are keeping him in this thing.
23:19Not sure if Hunter's going to figure those out.
23:20But it's been a huge factor thus far.
23:23Well, he figured something out because he pulled it a gap.
23:26And you're kind of going back to my point.
23:28You know, Hayden's riding really good.
23:30But you were starting to wonder, was that Hunter?
23:32You know, he's got a better pace than Hunter?
23:35Or was Hunter getting caught up in lap riders?

25:52What are you seeing down there in the mechanics area, Will?
25:56Just looking at Brent Duffy, mechanic for Hayden Deegan,
25:59his pit board on that last lap, that last go around there.
26:02And he was telling him to get off the clutch.
26:04He said the bike is hot.
26:06I don't know what you guys are seeing, but that's coming from the mechanic.
26:09Oh, we saw it.
26:10Steam was coming out, and it has stopped.
26:14As I say that it comes back.
26:19So Deegan got it back to three seconds down on Hunter Lawrence.
26:24We now have an update on the Chet Lawrence penalty on the start.
26:28It is going to be one license point.
26:30That is not a position penalty, but one on his racing license that could result in a penalty
26:36if you score enough license points as the year goes on.
26:40Let's bring on Mike Pelletier, the racing director from the AMA.
26:43Mike, talk about this decision here to just do a license point penalty for Chet Lawrence with this start.

26:48Thanks for having me, and I think it's important to explain the difference from the first moto in the 250
26:52that we saw Levi and Moseman do compared to what Chet did.
26:56So any time a rider is off the racetrack, race direction looks like they've gained a competitive advantage.
27:01That's the first thing that we determined.
27:03So in Levi's case and Michael Moseman's, they gained time and positions on the side of the racetrack.
27:09So that is a set penalty of positions gained, then plus one for the infraction itself.
27:15In Jet's case, we determined that there was no competitive advantage, any lost time and spots.
27:20However, we do want the riders to stay on the racetrack, so we issued a one license point penalty.
27:26I got you, Mike.
27:27That makes sense.
27:28Yeah, I was curious on that.
27:29And so essentially, if you end up, there's some kind of penalty if you end up on the side of
27:33those markers.
27:36That is correct.
27:37We really want the riders to stay on the racetrack.
27:39We've made a big effort for this year, especially using these license points now.
27:42So what we're really looking for is if they're gaining time or positions off that racetrack.
27:46If not, we still do want them to stay on.
27:48That's why we have license points now.

28:39Now, there was only a few seconds to start this lap behind Cooper Webb.
28:42But these mistakes, the lap riders, you don't even see Cooper Webb in the shot.
28:46So they've lost a little bit of time.
28:48So Jeff, probably going to want to try to get around Justin if he wants to have a shot at
28:52getting around Cooper Webb.
28:54But the pace he's been running, he'll still have a shot if he can move.
28:57Number 51 on the Ducati out there.
29:02Yeah, a couple riders looking over, even waving Jet by.
29:05You're not going to get that from the 51.
29:08Fighting sixth, Webb fifth.
29:12That'd actually be Webb's first top five moto finish of the year.
29:15He's close to it at Southwick.
29:17It might have it now.
29:20With a minute and two laps to go.
29:22Gap is about the same up front.
29:24Behind Hunter Lawrence and Deegan.
29:26Prado is third.
29:28Then Tomac, Webb, and these two.
29:30Now, going back to my point earlier, when you saw my brother wave Jet by.
29:35And I said, well, yeah, the difference in speed, you know, you'll get guys doing that.
29:38But as you get closer to the front or whatnot, the guy's running the same speed as Jet.
29:42You might not make it as easy.
29:46Marsha's not going to make it easy.
29:47Fighting Lawrence.
29:49And repasses him at the bottom of the hill.
29:51What'd you say?
29:51Correct.
29:52Well, I mean, Justin's a special case out there.
29:55But he's running a good, you know, pace.
29:57And top five's right in front of him.
29:58So, you know, I don't think Justin's going to do anything ridiculous.
30:01But at the same time, he is kind of running Jet's pace.
30:05Now, there, this is where I was saying, like, he's not going to.
30:08He could have ran Jet off in that thing.
30:11But, you know, hey, he understands that championship.
30:14He's not going to make it easy for him.
30:15But he ain't going to do anything because of how close they are running.
30:19And with that pass, Jet Lawrence would now have the championship lead by one.
30:25Is there time to get this number two of Webb?
30:31It's going to be two to go.
30:34I mean, Cooper's right in front of him.
30:36He's probably going to feel the roost off of him in a while.
30:39So, as his shot, he's got to get through these lap riders.
30:44The question is, will he be able to move up even farther if he's able to get around Cooper Webb
30:48for fifth place?
30:49Eli, about 15 seconds farther than that in front of these guys.
30:54So, yeah, that would be tough to get any further.
30:58But he's got a shot at Webb.
31:04Actually, by the time that clock expired, Hunter Lawrence had already gone by.
31:12So, it's going to be two to go the next time around.
31:15That's going to give Jet Lawrence one more lap to work with.
31:20Yeah, but the hard part is him and Eli are basically running the same lap.
31:23Oh, Webb's off the track.
31:24This is going to help Jet.
31:26And he goes by.
31:28I love how Cooper took his time right there.
31:30He was off the racetrack.
31:32You should have just taken your time.
31:34You should not, because here comes Barsha.
31:36Yeah, no penalty there.
31:38If I'm not gassing it, if I could put it in reverse, I would.
31:41But I can't do it.
31:43The penalty could be because he's going to battle Bam Bam now.
31:47And we'll know he'll fight for it.
31:49That is going to be for sixth now.
31:51So, Jet Lawrence has done it.
31:52He's come from about 22nd to fifth.
31:58But it is going to be winner takes it at this point.

32:29We haven't been focused on them the entire time, but they have been still dropping their lap times lap after

32:35Yeah, these two are 51 seconds ahead of Jorge Prado, JT.

32:47So, this is Deegan's rookie year.

33:02Obviously, there's things I need to work on.
33:04But even just this podium streak I got going, the amount of podiums I've gotten this season, I'm stoked on

33:09I'm going against a lot of good guys.
33:10So, obviously, you guys all know what my goal is.
33:12I want to win.
33:13So, it's going to take a little to get to that point.
33:15I'm working towards it.
33:17I'm working with the team.
33:17The team wants to win just as bad as me.
33:19So, they're trying their hardest as well, getting the bike ready.
33:22And I'm also new to this.
33:23I'm new to the 450s.
33:24So, some of my impact may not be good and some of it is good.
33:27So, it's taking a little bit of time.
33:32Yeah, when you look at the results, I'm sure Hayden wanted more.
33:35But I also think he understood and he saw the level and he'll eventually get there.
33:41But he also understands, too, that you've got to have a motorcycle underneath.
33:45You've got to work as a team.
33:46There's a lot more things.
33:47He saw his talent coming out here, which Hayden has it.
33:49And that's what you're seeing.
33:50And so, he's gotten better throughout the year.
33:53And it's only going to help him continue to build for the future and eventually get one of these wins.

34:38This is twice this year that he's had heartbreaking moments and has been able to bounce back.
34:43That supercross finale, that was obviously a crusher when he crashed, battling Ken Rockson.

34:49A couple weeks later, back to win the Pro Moto Cross Opener.
34:52Bouncing back from you to Dilla with what would be a huge first Moto win.
34:56I'm kind of shocked a little bit.
34:59I wouldn't say shocked, but just so impressed with this guy out here going through the things.
35:05And I almost don't really want to say much.
35:07I want to get across the checkered flag.
35:08But I'm so impressed by what he's able to do just mentally.
35:12It is so hard to overcome once what he went through this year in the Supercross season.
35:18And he stood there and he took it like a champ, came out, won the next race at Paula.
35:22And then to go through it again and then come out and possibly win the next single race.
35:28Had pressure from Hayd Deegan and what can you say about the 90s that he is back in his championship
35:35with his brother.
35:36And truthfully, probably Jed.
35:37You know, he doesn't want to lose, but he's probably happy too because now they can really just go out
35:41there and race.
35:42And not worry about what just happened a week ago.
35:46It's going to be nearly even up.
35:48Hunter Lawrence erasing eight points of his ten-point deficit in the series in this Moto alone.
35:56And a clutch ride for sure.

36:38This time it took the whole Moto to go from about 18th to 5th.
36:43Really good ride by Jed Lawrence.
36:46And, you know, he probably, in the back of his mind, you've got to thank even Levi Kitchen from what
36:52happened.
36:53What I mean by, because that start, he goes on the grass.
36:56Maybe if Levi didn't get the penalty, he didn't see that.
36:59Maybe the gas, he really shut it down because he understood what just happened.
37:03So, I don't know.
37:04Maybe he doesn't know.
37:05Jorge Prada ends up third place.
37:07Eli's going to come through in fourth.
