00:10number two. He was quietly really good in that race, just kind of sat back out of all
00:15the noise. But I have a feeling that Christian Craig might make a little bit of noise for
00:19himself in this one. Fast and qualifying, we'll find out here in a moment.
00:33Let's head down to Christian B, who is with Dean Wilson. The FIM is actually waving me
00:39off. But real quick before we do, I want to check in with Dean Wilson. He won Super
00:41Pole here today. Dean, what did you learn in GP race one that you can now apply towards
00:44GP race two? Yeah, I just got dirt in my goggles. I couldn't see most of that race. There's
00:49bouncing all over the place. So got to tighten the strap up. Let's hope we get a start and
00:54put ourselves in a good position. Dean, best of luck. We're going to get out of here because
00:57they are getting ready to go, boys. Nice work, Christian B. She gets in there. She
01:01gets the info we needed. We had no idea. Thank you, Christian. She was getting roosted
01:05and qualified. She's on the start game for the main. The FIM is yelling, get her out of
01:09there. I mean, she is core and she makes it happen. This man right here needs to make it
01:14happen. Jason Anderson, tough go. Bad start in the first one. That's what led to all the mess.
01:19Then he goes down. He's got a long ways to go if he wants to win tonight.
01:27And it's SX1 race number two from Calgary, Canada. A little refresher. Justin Hill won
01:33the first one and he blitzed through the field as did Cooper Webb. What a battle with Mitchell
01:39Harrison leading multiple laps up front, having the race of his year, maybe the race of his
01:44life, battling with the legends. But we're going to do it again right here. This is SX1 race
01:49number two. The revs will go up. The gate will drop. And we are underway.
01:57And it is two Starks again out front. That is the story of the night. A clear advantage
02:02for those guys. No, is that Justin? It is. It's Justin Hill that has gone down at the start
02:07of race two. Wow. Mitchell Harrison out front. It's Mitchell again. Now, can he make the moves?
02:14Last moto. Oh, Jordy Tixia and Mitchell Harrison. It's the same four guys as the first moto. Where's
02:20Webb? See, Wilson's up there again. It looks very, very similar. But now Webb is behind
02:25Wilson. Webb is behind Craig. And Mitchell Harrison's in position to get up front and
02:30maybe do it again. And where is Jason Anderson? I'm looking at the screen now. 13th position
02:35for Jason Anderson. Terrible, terrible start to his World Supercross title defense. Jorge Zaragoza
02:41is out front. So a little switcheroo with the Stark Riders. Vince Freese in second. You
02:46got Harrison third. Wilson. Oh, here comes Harrison. Makes the move up the inside. Wilson
02:50goes out to end. Mitchell Harrison has came to race here in Calgary.
02:56Dean Wilson, though, looks like he does not have anything affecting his vision in the second
03:01race. No, he looks great. Craig looks great. Here comes Webb up the inside on Freese. He makes
03:05the move into fifth. So now Jorge Zaragoza will feel the pressure. Here comes Dean
03:10Wilson up the inside. Forces him out of the way. Nice pass. Let's go to Kristen.
03:15I was speaking with Christian Craig before the start of this race. I asked him what was
03:19frustrating him. Because I could just tell by his body demeanor. Oh!
03:23He's holding himself. Go ahead, guys. Oh! Christian Craig. Christian Craig. That was
03:26a brutal crash. It's good to see him up. He runs off the track. Oh, that was a big one.
03:34And this
03:34is a great sign right here. That looked way worse. Oh, man.
03:39Lap two of a Supercross race in the biggest rhythm section of the track. That is not where
03:44you want to go down. But it looks like he is going to be able to rebound and keep racing
03:48this moto. And a little bit of a change of two. Webb is able to get by Wilson. Here's the
03:52crash. Watch Craig in fourth. Roll. Double. He gets a kick right—oh, off the bike. Look at
03:59him to the side. Slaps on the top of the tabletop and off. That could have been so much worse
04:07for Christian Craig. But he loses all the spots.
04:11Great work by Gregory Aranda not to clean him up there. Luke Clout as well.
04:17And there's Jason Anderson and Colt Nichols. But back to the race. And let's go back to
04:23Christian B. Guys, as I was saying about Christian Craig, he was frustrated heading into this GP
04:28race. He said in GP race one, he felt as though both Stark bikes actually held up the rest of
04:34the field. And what happens when that is happening, the riders can't make passes. It's when there's
04:41so many guys fighting for one line or so many guys four wide, it's impossible to move forward.
04:47And especially with Vince Freeze and Jorge Zaragoza in front of them, he just found it very difficult.
04:51So you can tell he carried that frustration into GP race two.
04:55Yeah, Jason, he's not wrong.
04:56Yareep Khonski just said in our interview with him that, yeah, something may need to be looked
05:00at in the future because they didn't take elevation into consideration. They've got every hole shot,
05:04one, two, to start this thing out. So clearly noticed that Christian Craig expressing his frustrations.
05:12Mitchell Harrison is having the night of his career so far. Cooper Webb is all over him as we head
05:17into this group section. Mitchell Harrison, the only one of this top three pack that is
05:22still skipping those groups, but Cooper goes around the outside. Mitchell Harrison gave him
05:28a tiny, tiny bit of a bunch, but probably not the dude that you want to be hitting on the
05:33second race of the night. Cooper Webb passed Mitchell Harrison in the last race of the inside
05:37there. This motor was on the outside. So just like Max Hanstie, he is moving around using his
05:41race craft to make the moves, finds himself in second. I'm watching the leaderboard right
05:46now. Justin Hill is up to six. These are important positions for him points-wise. Sets up perfectly
05:53for race three. If he can pick off one or two more riders, he's got Freese in front of him,
05:57Wilson in front of him. Here comes Webb up the inside on Zaragoza. Will he make the move in the
06:02whoops? Cooper Webb has been good in the whoops tonight. Jumping in practice, blitzing in the races.
06:08He goes a little long, but he makes the pass up the inside. Roll three. Three. Three. And he'll
06:14jump the triple single to the inside. And Cooper Webb to the lead. And Cooper Webb is here for this
06:19entire championship. And if you know Cooper Webb, you know that he does not race for fun. He races
06:25for wins. He races for championships. And he is making a statement in his full-time
06:31World Supercross debut. Webb to the lead. Zaragoza second. You got Harrison and Wilson still sitting
06:36three, four. And here is Justin Hill. Justin Hill. Making moves through the field. And I'm not
06:44surprised. He's got the eye of the tiger. He had it when he showed up on site. Goes around the
06:48outside
06:48of Freese. Puts him up into fifth. And now he will have a clear track and clear run at Dean
06:53Wilson,
06:53who sits four. And guys have got bad starts so far tonight, right? But we have not seen anybody come
06:59through the pack like Justin Hill. That block looks amazing underneath him right now.
07:05This is an impressive ride for the number 46. As they run, Cooper Webb would have 19 points going
07:10into the final race. Dean Wilson, 15. Harrison, 15. Hill, 15. Hill needs some points to get a shot at
07:17that overall. Right now he sits four down. He would have no shot at the overall. Well, he would. He
07:23would
07:23need a little bit of help from Cooper Webb, but he wouldn't be able to win his way into the
07:27overall.
07:28These are some big laps coming from Justin Hill as the Battle Titans for second.
07:33Yeah, and Dean Wilson and Mitchell Harrison, they have experienced racing together in Australia last
07:37year. These guys know where they're going to go. This is huge for not only the championship,
07:44but tonight's overall. Nice ride by Mitchell Harrison again, holding his own
07:49against Dean Wilson. But this battle has slowed up just a bit. Here comes Justin Hill,
07:54and we're about to have a wild final lap, just like we had in race one. The SX1 class is
08:00delivering.
08:00Here comes Harrison up the inside. How aggressive will he be? And Dean Wilson is going to be on his
08:05own
08:05in this whoop section to get the run that he needs. Can he go? Oh, Harrison.
08:10He gets shut out on the outside. 3-1. Zaragoza pushes. Here comes Hill.
08:16We might go four wide up the finish line jump. Wilson. Hill up the inside.
08:22I don't know who to watch. They're all over the finish line jump together. Hill around the outside.
08:28He's just burn blasting around Wilson, around Harrison, and he might get Zaragoza too. That is insane.
08:42Nobody has been there all night. He passed three guys in that turn. Oh, that is heartbreak for Justin
08:49Hill. And Zaragoza has no idea. He hears. He knows what's going on. He knows something's going on.
08:55He doesn't know what, and that's a bummer for Hill. He does get up. He's in sixth. This is going
09:01to be a
09:01tough break in this race for his overall, his hopes. Cooper Webb. Way to get through it,
09:09buddy. I mean, wow. Cooper Webb wins race number two in Calgary. And shout out Jorge Zaragoza too.
09:19What a ride. Dino comes across in third. Oh, Vince Freese and Mitchell Harrison.
09:24Freeze hits him. And Hale gets him too. Wow. You count on two things. Taxes and Vince Freese
09:36cleaning you out of the last corner. This is fun. Cooper Webb looks back and is like,
