00:11Got her home. It was a pretty rough first day or two. Basically, her crate was her safe space.
00:16She didn't want to come out. Wasn't until two days in, I was watching a movie and I had my
00:24senior dog next to me and she came out and she got onto the other side of the couch opposite
00:52of us
00:52and I didn't want to move. I was playing it really cool and she eventually fell asleep on the couch.
01:00And for like the next day or two, the couch was the only place that she wanted to be.
01:09She did get on my bed after that. I kind of was discovering a new place in my apartment.

01:17You're showing me your belly before you wag your tail.
01:22Oh, I'm so proud of you. She kind of melted at that point. She was like, oh my gosh, this
01:29is great.
01:31We're getting the first tail wag.

01:39What is your tail doing? Oh my goodness.
01:47Oh my goodness. It's your first tail wag. Yay.
01:53And so she's just been doing fantastic.
01:56I would describe her as silly, goofy, cuddly, curious, and brave.

02:14Kind of selfishly feels good when you see them make that transformation from super scared to opening up
02:22and allowing their personality to shine because you're like, oh my gosh, they feel safe with me.
